My Car Battery

The battery in my 2014 Ford Escape needs replacing and the usual auto parts stores that install for free wouldn't install it. They said it was too complicated, so I asked a mechanic on JustAnswer. He told me how to do it, but I am not mechanically inclined. But he said that it should take no more than 1/2 hour. The one auto parts place allows 45 minutes. I think they just didn't want to do it. Called the 3 biggest known auto parts stores and none of them would change it. Glad I talked to him and got a better understanding about the situation.

Piece of mind

Christmas Eve day, house full of family, refrigerator not cold. Called site, connected with technician Andy, who called me & walked his step by step how to check possible problems then step by step how to fix refrigerator. We did & it is working perfect, amazing!

Very bad customer service

I had a question about their monthly subscription fee. The customer service agent, Royce D., that I spoke to could not understand my question, even though it was very simple. "If I cancel my membership, will I continue to be charged?"

I had this question because I had a membership with Just Answer before in a different area. After I canceled my membership, they continued to charge me.

I also saw that this is a popular question on their website - it appears at the top of more than one page. "Why am I receiving a recurring charge even if I am not a member?" or something like that.

The customer care specialist Royce kept giving me different answers, like, "There are no charges on your credit card at this time."? Or "We have verified that you don't want a membership." He was talking about things that had nothing to do with my question! He was also very rude. And when I said "You haven't answered my question," he said, "I have answered your question," and then he marked the support ticket closed.

Either this was the worst kind of customer service, or there's some kind of scam going on here.

My business was in dire need of an IT person to reconfigure and network printer/copier network. I discovered "Jusk Answer" and within 30 minutes the technician remoted in and got me back running. Otherwise, I would have had to pay a larger service charge and wait another day. If I'm ever in an IT jam again, I certainly reach to Just Answer!

For seemingly no reason my refrigerator--a very reliable one for ten years--suddenly switched to OFF--electricity still on, but no cooling. With a frig and freezer full of food, I needed help fast. The technician I was paired with couldn't figure it out at first--we tried several thing that didn't work. But we both persisted, and finally he came up with a solution that reset my refrigerator and saved all my food (this was on a Sunday and I wasn't expecting to find a repairman to come to the house anytime soon). I would have spent 4 weeks trying to figure out or find an answer to my question about my 2001 Jeep Cherokee. I've chased around looking for an answer to a complicated Corporate / IRS question. A ROYAL PAIN IN THE COLON with time, money, and lousy attitudes! These people are Golden. Instead of racking-up DAYS of expensive research for a tab that will make your teeth fall out, these experts will tell you the answer in minutes, IN PLAIN ENGLISH, for $5! If you have more questions, have a conversation with them by phone for $52. It costs me more to talk to my girlfriend, and without the hassle. BEST DEAL GOING
