The battery in my 2014 Ford Escape needs replacing and the usual auto parts stores that install for free wouldn't install it. They said it was too complicated, so I asked a mechanic on JustAnswer. He told me how to do it, but I am not mechanically inclined. But he said that it should take no more than 1/2 hour. The one auto parts place allows 45 minutes. I think they just didn't want to do it. Called the 3 biggest known auto parts stores and none of them would change it. Glad I talked to him and got a better understanding about the situation.

I had a question about their monthly subscription fee. The customer service agent, Royce D., that I spoke to could not understand my question, even though it was very simple. "If I cancel my membership, will I continue to be charged?"
I had this question because I had a membership with Just Answer before in a different area. After I canceled my membership, they continued to charge me.
I also saw that this is a popular question on their website - it appears at the top of more than one page. "Why am I receiving a recurring charge even if I am not a member?" or something like that.
The customer care specialist Royce kept giving me different answers, like, "There are no charges on your credit card at this time."? Or "We have verified that you don't want a membership." He was talking about things that had nothing to do with my question! He was also very rude. And when I said "You haven't answered my question," he said, "I have answered your question," and then he marked the support ticket closed.
Either this was the worst kind of customer service, or there's some kind of scam going on here.

Everything looked real — I even withdrew a small amount at first — then one day my account was “under review” and the site vanished. I reported it to the FTC and pretty much gave up hope. Months later, someone who saw my complaint told me to email cyberfundsrecovery12@ gmail. Com. I was super skeptical (once bitten, twice shy), but they actually knew exactly how these scams work. It took about 3 months of paperwork, verifications, and bank back-and-forth, but I got a big chunk of my money back. Not all of it, but way more than I thought I’d ever see again. If you’ve been scammed, don’t give up — there are people who can help, but be careful who you trust.
