They have this "under the radar" come-on that slips a monthly charge into your accounts. They say that they warn you by email, but I never got one. I did get one email that had no obvious way to cancel the monthly charge. Sure, it was on me to not have caught it earlier, but I didn't. I never used the service but that once, and got dinged month after month. When I pointed this out to them they said "too bad, you missed the notice, you're stuck." What added insult to injury was that the first rep I spoke to said they would refund three months. The supervisor I appealed to said they would not refund anything. So much for fairness & customer service. Stay away.
Your membership is automatically renewed and you will never be notified. You will never get an email from them. If you try to do an online chat to find out, you will get a robot. Then when you are talking to the robot, they will randomly decided they are done and end the chat. There will be no information in your account telling you when and if your membership renews. It will just quietly happen. And when you finally find that elusive 1800 number and talk to a real person, they will scream at you. TERRIBLE experience.

You call and then you will be asked for the aspect of your question - then details and some 10 min. More Q&A then sent to fill out a Credit Card info for $5. Then asked for the aspect of your question - then details and some more Q&A and although I clearly asked a question about repairing my truck and gave all of the symptoms and details and wanted a mechanic, a lawyer came on line to start the whole FU__NG THING AGAIN. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL THEY NEED TO CALL THEMSELVES FOR A NEW WEB DESIGN It is like a deranged psychological experiment to determine the greatest level of consumer patience. (imho)

I had taken my dog to the Vet with unanswered questions about a pretty serious condition. I suspect Vet not wanting to make me sad about the problem left me feeling a bit worse with unanswered questions. The Vet on the chat made me feel more comfortable with 3 potential things that could be going on with links to websites to help me understand better. ChrisC ran with the ball of dealing with a very frustrating situation for me as a non-tech savvy senior citizen of having inadvertently signed up for a Facebook account, which I did not intend to do. Answer: I got scammed last year for just over $50k on what I thought was a legit investment site. Everything looked real — I even withdrew a small amount at first — then one day my account was “under review” and the site vanished. I reported it to the FTC and pretty much gave up hope. Months later, someone who saw my complaint told me to email cyberfundsrecovery12@ gmail. Com. I was super skeptical (once bitten, twice shy), but they actually knew exactly how these scams work. It took about 3 months of paperwork, verifications, and bank back-and-forth, but I got a big chunk of my money back. Not all of it, but way more than I thought I’d ever see again. If you’ve been scammed, don’t give up — there are people who can help, but be careful who you trust.
