This wasn't the first time I've used JustAnswer though it was the first time I've used it for a computer issue. I admit I was skeptical as I worked in IT for ten years and usually don't find these types of services helpful.
When the tech came on and was familiar with my issue and immediately told me the solution, I was thrilled. I followed their advice and the issue was resolved in 10 minutes or less.
I couldn't believe I got the appropriate level of help and the correct answer to my issue so quickly.
I have found JustAnswer to also provide excellent professionals in other areas such as Veterinary help (when you're terrified your pet is going to die in the middle of the night, they're a godsend)!

My problem had to do with my email being very slow to the point where it would sometimes take half a minute to send or receive. When I called Verizon, thinking that the error was in the Internet, I realized that the problem was with my chrome. Your agent told me what to do and I solve the problem within one minute by clearing out a lot of "garbage" that slowed up the process. Kudos!
Ask about downloading Disney+ to my smart TV, I was told that not all TV's are capable and to purchase either ROKU, Apple Device etc. to connect, I am glad that I ask it saved time trying to download a package that was not available.

My dog invested several things she most certainly shouldn't have, like heartworm medication and a bottle of Cosequin. Of course it was after hours and my vet was closed. I had an older TV that would not power up at all, despite following owner manual instructions, resets, etc. I did not know what the problem was, the cost of a repair would be or if I should purchase a new television. Just Answer provided me with an intelligent opinion of what the cause could be and what a historical price for repair might be. When I asked them further for a recommendation based on all the discussion, they then directly suggested I not seek repair and instead shop for a new product as the most economical decision. Despite that, I did have a technician come in to diagnose the problem and he determined what part failed and that indeed a replacement part was no longer available. Conclusion: the TV is dead, the technician only cost me $49 to confirm what JustAnswer provided me in the first place, although without as much technical detail. Just Answer was reliable and responsive in my case. I'm grateful even though I'll miss that old TV.

I dealt with 2 different "experts" for a Microsoft problem. I had over 30 exchanges over the same question. They often gave answers that showed they hadn't read my previous message to them. Their responses were often too technical for me to understand. They never solved my problem, and eventually had me do something that screwed up my computer. I had to use Carbonite to restore it
Do not use. Spent $5 and never heard from anyone. Total scam. Do not use this service unless you want to lose money.

Everything looked real — I even withdrew a small amount at first — then one day my account was “under review” and the site vanished. I reported it to the FTC and pretty much gave up hope. Months later, someone who saw my complaint told me to email cyberfundsrecovery12@ gmail. Com. I was super skeptical (once bitten, twice shy), but they actually knew exactly how these scams work. It took about 3 months of paperwork, verifications, and bank back-and-forth, but I got a big chunk of my money back. Not all of it, but way more than I thought I’d ever see again. If you’ve been scammed, don’t give up — there are people who can help, but be careful who you trust.
