No problem for me using Just Answer again for any computer or other connectable device. I am not completely computer illiterate but they had my problem sorted quickly. It was lucky I new my way around my machine.

My puppy ate all of the crabapples off of a sprig I had put into my container of greenery I had made for my porch. When I searched for the possible ill effects, it wasn't good. My search for after-hours vet assistance brought me to JustAnswer. I received an answer from a Vet within minutes of posing the question. There was helpful back and forth Q&A with the Vet and it turned out she didn't consume enough to be a threat. However, the peace of mind was worth it! The vet followed up and asked that I check back with him later to let him know how the puppy was doing.
I am a 73 year old Senior with difficulty in setting up anything technical. My technician was Greg A and he was the most patient, considerate, smartest man I could have wished for. I was initially hesitant this was another scam, as the trial is 5$; but it was worth that and so much more. My 7mo old miniature dachshund had a rough experience with her spay, and Dr. Nicki was able to give advice on what to ask the vet about. I am able to reach out as much as I need throughout the trial week and am seriously considering the membership after this experience!
I asked a question and was charged $5 to get the answer, which I did. Until I received a notice from PayPal stating that I had signed up for a $60 per month membership, I had no idea. If I'd used my credit card, I wouldn't have known until I received the statement and maybe not for months since I seldom check my statement online. Shame of them for scamming people. They give lawyers a bad name and some of them are pretty bad to begin with!
What a rip off this site is... stay away from them at all cost. They don't explain anything about the automatic membership charges they just start charging your credit card $46.00 a month. That's one problem. The first problem is the $26.00 they charge to ask a question. My problem was with a LG TV... when the expert got on the line and I explained the problem, he said I never heard of that and had no answer. The conversation was about 30 seconds. I said to the rep... and that is what I was charged $26.00 for, what a rip off. Mind you, that they state that they WILL HELP you with the problem. Then I get my credit card statement and see another $46.00 membership charge that is automatically billed every month... sorry I didn't read the fine print somewhere that said I had to cancel the membership in 7 days. They said they sent me an e-mail reminder but that never happened. After a very heated conversation with a customer service rep. They agreed to cancel the membership and refund the $46.00 they charged me. I'm still on the hook for the $26.00 to ask a question. I stopped payment from my credit card company also. We will see if I get my credit. AGAIN I WILL SAY... STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAM ARTIST AT ALL COST.

I tried to cancel and the website would refresh to the homepage over and over again. I was charged $46 for membership that was never used, and they would not refund me.

They did not answer my problem at all. You gave me the same information I already had from Google. Then they charged me $46 for a service I did not want and claimed they sent me an email giving me seven days to opt out. I checked, there was no email. Then they said you would refund my money in three days, but they did not. If this is not a scam, I don't understand the definition of scam. I suspect their good reviews are written by them and their staff.

Paid 5 dollars to reserve a vet for an emergency question about my dog. How did I even know this was a legit vet? I don't and was told they could not provide credentials. Then, got charged 10 cents fir saying thank you or him saying have a good day. Then got charged 29 dollar membership fee which I'm sure was in fine print. Said they would give refund, did not! Had to cancel my debit card for fear of future fraudulent charges. Paid close t on 40 dollars for this vet with 32 years experience to wash my dog with Dawn soap which I was already doing. I had to ask him what symptoms to look for, no comment. Was not told this could poison my dog and lead to lethargy and vomiting which resulted in having to pay more money to get my pet proper treatment. It is rather scary that they can do this, and we have no way if we are talking to professionals. Very dangerous! Disgusting and deceptive business!

Tech support was very helpful with their suggested steps for me to take to get my laptop computer. It had suddenly overheated and shut down. Given some time for the internal fan to help in cooling down the computer, then using the suggested procedures from your tech he was very helpful in getting my laptop restarted. Received help at 2am in the morning. Really glad "Just Answer" was available at that time of day to help.

I am completely computer illiterate when it comes to IT stuff, but my business is dependent on being up and running. My technician Ray was AMAZINIG! He was patient, knowledgeable and was willing to stay on line with me while my computer re synced all my emails ( hours). All my problems were fixed! I will definitely use Just Answer in the future.

Everything looked real — I even withdrew a small amount at first — then one day my account was “under review” and the site vanished. I reported it to the FTC and pretty much gave up hope. Months later, someone who saw my complaint told me to email cyberfundsrecovery12@ gmail. Com. I was super skeptical (once bitten, twice shy), but they actually knew exactly how these scams work. It took about 3 months of paperwork, verifications, and bank back-and-forth, but I got a big chunk of my money back. Not all of it, but way more than I thought I’d ever see again. If you’ve been scammed, don’t give up — there are people who can help, but be careful who you trust.
