This site sucks, cancelled my membership right away, but they still charge me the monthly fee because of some fine print bull$#*! I did not read carefully enough. Seems there are other negative reveiws about this site, so I am not the only one complaining. Use a local search instead to find help, they provide a much better service and you can actually speak to someone from your area.

Look up the bait and switch phrase and JustAnswer's picture should be there. They'll hit you for a $5 "join fee" and then, somewhere, somehow, add a $37 MONTHLY fee that they'll refuse to refund even when you reach a live voice to secure your money back (no luck so far, but I haven't given up). The chat was helpful until I realized I couldn't solve my problem without a technician (no one's fault there). The one-star rating here is only because there was no way to give it a zero or a minus.

Please don't use this site! There is an automatic membership fee that is recurring. I cancelled my membership on their website one week after I joined. However, I continue to be billed a monthly fee for membership. The customer service center is apparently located in another country and the information provided is inaccurate. These are shady practice for any company, but especially when it isn't possible to reach anyone who has authority to make decisions or answer questions regarding billing and membership. The customer service representatives simply read from a script, repeat themselves, and refuse to transfer the call to anyone who can make such decisions. YOU WILL BE CHARGED EVEN AFTER YOU CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP!

If you have a question, use YouTube for FREE. Once you ask a question on JustAnswer, a screen comes up saying pay only €1 and we'll answer your question. You hit next for your payment details. The screen pops up and there's mention of an additional €45 in tiny print and unclear language. And when one seeks a refund for this mis-representation, you get a big fat NO. Disgusting & shameful organisation.

What a scam this website is. They charge you $5 for a question, then secretly bill you $46 a month. You get one word answers from the "experts". I called and asked for a refund for one of the two months I was charged without knowing, when in their terms it says by law they must make you aware of additional charges before they happen I never received an email stating I would be charged and a member ship would start. The customer service and "supervisor" were rude and were not any help at all. 0 out of 100 for customer service

I simply wanted to ask a question re a garage door remote. This company said that there was a $2 fee that was refundable. That's when I should of checked the reviews but instead in good faith I put my details in. $41 later and my accounts been hacked!

I signed up for just answer because I had a question in regards to what kind of lawyer I should attempt to find for my situation. I went ahead and did the $5 free trial I asked my question and got an answer that I thought was sufficient. I then canceled my trial membership within the time frame so I expected not to be charged on my credit card. I checked my credit card statement today and there is a pending charge for $46. I called just answer and they told me that their system shows my account still active therefore my cancellation must not have been fully completed and that membership fees are non-refundable. I only had one question I got one answer I canceled my membership but they charged my card anyway. STAY AWAY!

I used this app once. Did not realize it was on a monthly basis. I'm on disability and a fixed income. I was charged 5.00 at once, then 46.00 in seven days. I thought that would be it since I had retained a lawyer. Thirty days later I was charged another 46.00. That was a very expensive one time question. I immediately called and asked them to cancel and remove the second 46.00. They said no, even though they could tell I had only used it once. What a $#*!ty thing to do. Will never recommend this site or use it again. It is definitely not worth it.

They don't tell you that it's a monthly subscription They don't ask you if you want a monthly subscription. They don't answer the phone to unsubscribe. It's a scam out of Sam Francisco. No lawyer contacted me.

The bot told me it was a 4 shekel refundable activation fee. I joined. Within a half hour I cancelled, having received no service.

I paid 108 shekel and am not being refunded. Other reviews had similar experiences.

It says on their website that they will only charge you $2 for a chat, but they're going to charge you additional fee ($42) for a membership. You can cancel it, but won't be able to refund. I do NOT recommend.

Dont trust them! They said they will charge 1$ but tried to charge me 46$. You cant even go back to complain on the website!

Wanted some advice on use of of some technology new to me. Phone response from JUST ANSWER was utterly useless. Received a phone call from my bank querying this charge and was informed that JA would be debiting my account £25.00 pcm. BE WARNED.

THEY NEED TO ADD A ZERO STARS, ONE STAR IS A COMPLIMENT TO THIS SCAM ARTIS. THIS SITE IS A TOTAL SCAM. THEY LEAD YOU TO BELIEVE YOUR INITIAL CONTACT IS ONLY FIVE BUCKS. THEN THEY HIT MY CARD FOR 60 BUCKS A MONTH FOR TWO MONTHS BEFORE I CAUGHT IT.

My elderly mother asked a simple question on JustAnswer about her cooker. She knew it would cost £5. What she didn't know and it was not clearly set out was that she was signing up for a subscription. JustAnswer then took £30 per month for nearly two years. Never an email or text or any other communication about what she was paying and what she was supposedly buying. Do not get fooled. This is a bad company who have no compassion for people and just take your cash. They will not pay anything back so far. It is disgraceful and they have taken advantage of my mother and plenty of others. Read the reviews … there aren't many they'd be proud of….

Charged me $60 after advertising that it was $1 to sign up and ask a question. Entirely misleading. The question was answered & it was not a helpful response. Sent customer service a refund request which they denied. Of course they did. Google is a MUCH better resource.

I asked a question. The response was "... join JustAnswer for only $2 (fully refundable)". In the meantime they send your question to an expert. The next page is where you enter your credit card info. You will then be charged the $2 refundable fee AND and $86/mo membership non-refundable fee which is not clear at all unless you read every word on that page. Even if you do read every word on that page, nowhere does it state the $86/mo membership fee is NOT refundable. The only refundable fee is the $2 joining fee. Super deceptive and catches tones of people! Only sign up if you want an ongoing $86/mo fee! You have been warned!
