So I reached out to this company about my dog as an emergency to find out what was going on. I paid the $1 one time fee to talk to someone and somehow I was charged $29 for a "membership"?! I NEVER agreed to a membership and they claim it says it on the page. Well it didn't. Now I'm very frustrated and they refuse to give me a refund. I DO NOT recommend this "emergency vet" corporation. A ten second conversation and they charge $29 for that? And it wasn't even useful! Such bs!
I wish there was a way to give zero stars... signed up to get an answer to a question. The answer I got was not helpful. When I signed up and agreed to pay $2 to have a question answered I didn't realize that there was also a membership fee that was going to auto-renew. I have since paid for a few months of a service that I don't use, never intended to use and will never use. Nothing is obvious with your sign up process and you feed on that fact then offer ZERO compensation even though its clear that services were not used at all. TERRIBLE policy!

Ask a question, kind of get an answer, then get a pop up that says, "get your answer for only $1." where does it say $34 for a stupid f****** membership, huh?! Even when you cancel that stupid membership that they charge you for that they never told you they were going to charge you for they will not give you the $34 back you can't get that money back it's gone! Everywhere on the main page said 1$. Amazing cool great I'm a broke college student and all my regular doctors were booked. Basically this woman told me I needed to see someone in person and didn't give me any actual answers. Fast forward a week I check my bank. 46 dollars. They charged me 46 dollars to get absolutely no answers. Called customer service. All they could do was cancel my membership.

Just a scam website where they charge 45$ for membership wven though you hadn't enrolled in it. Called up customer service and they just would not give the money back

I tried to cancel and get a refund. I was able to cancel but when it came to getting a refund they weren't giving me my money back. I wasn't informed when I called for an issue that this was a membership with a monthly fee. We are all tight on money right now and I was just hoping they would have done the right thing and refunded my money when I cancelled. I'm very disappointed and dissatisfied with just answer.

Even after a subpar interaction where I was not given a direct answer, I was charged 3 times for $46 of service that I never used. I feel practically robbed of $140. This practice of business of hiding a membership fee that is not advertised clearly is actually disgusting. After making contact with the company themselves, I was notified that there is no chance of a refund. Please do yourself a favor and steer clear.

I signed up for $1 and without my agreement I was signed up and billed for $46, which they would not refund as my initial question was considered enough to justify the $46. My question was really about google and their entire "help" was getting me to google, who incidentally didn't help either. This is a bait and switch and I would guess a large portion of their revenue comes from unsuspecting customers.

I believe some may get what they want but I just got charged 68 dollars for an "expert" to tell me that I need the complete code to help diagnose the problem with my vehicle. Call company the same day they pulled 34 dollars out to cancel and found out the "membership" fee is non refundable

I asked a question about a possible injury to my dog's paw. I was immediately and repeatedly told that it was a malignant tumor that could only be removed via surgery. It was a foxtail in the top of my dog's paw and was immediately treated and corrected. I immediately cancelled my "membership" and was still charged for the following month. I then cancelled again and yet my bank account was charged for that month too. When I called to find out what was going on, I was told that there was no record or any cancellations (this was later changed after I read word for word a text message that I had from them) and that, despite this, I am not entitled to a refund. I asked for additional contact information at their company and was told that none existed. DO NOT EVER USE THIS SERVICE FOR ANYTHING!

After the nitial $5 charge for the answer - which seemed to be all I had to pay, my card was automatically charged $60 month. Customer service is not going to refund the amount - I should have seen that on their site when I requested the service! I agree, I should be more careful in the future and not ever use their service again. I would rather pay legal fees- at least I know up front what to expect. Review your terms before signing up.

I called apple for support and ended up with Just Answer. I did not check the box for membership. I've been billed 2x. I have tried to get a refund but they refused. I do not recommend this service. Buyer please beware.

The mechanic took over an hour to get anywhere and never got my issued solved and asked the same question three times as well as took 30 minutes to even respond, then went to ask for a refund from customer service because I was told it would cost me 1$ but ended up costing me 35$, but customer service wouldn't wait for me to finish typing and ended up disconnecting the chat. Never using this site again.

I had problems with my newly purchased IPhone. I got on the JustAnswer website for help, and had $1/day special for a week. When you do not cancel - that special becomes a $46 charge to your credit card. The reminder emails for the charge go directly to your junk mail that you cannot begin to go through each day! While it is completely obvious on their website that you have never accessed your account, they will make no other attempt to contact you.

Company said they would charge $1 for me to sign up, then as soon as I signed up, they charged my card for the $1 plus an additional $37. Then the advice they provided was worthless: "Hire a repairman." I never agreed to the $37 monthly fee, and immediately canceled this "service."

The is a SCAM website. We went to the website and they requested a $1 charge to answer our question. The actual charge was $61 for a monthly subscription that we did not request. We tried to get a refund but they refused. Beware using this website as they will charge you for something that you do not want.

This site is actually a scam. Their bot states " JustAnswer for only $5 (fully-refundable). While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Lawyer about your situation and then connect you two." - Once it connects you to a this form, there is fine print that says you will also be billed a $60 non-refundable fee. Why not mention that fee right away? To deceive people. I called them and told them how unethical this is and they refused to offer a refund. I called again and asked what "free" meant? She couldn't answer. She kept saying that I was charged because I asked a question. It is free to join, but if you use the site then you get charged. That is absolute nonsense. They know this is an unethical business practice and they don't care. I kept arguing and finally was offered a refund. If you Google "justanswer scam" you will see others have had the same experience.

This site is out to simply siphon money from whosoever is dumb enough to agree to be connected to an "expert", just so they can charge an unexpected monthly "membership" fee against your credit card without due authorisation, and will continue to do so unless you "cancel at any time". Don't fall for it! Be warned!

Answer: I got scammed last year for just over $50k on what I thought was a legit investment site. Everything looked real — I even withdrew a small amount at first — then one day my account was “under review” and the site vanished. I reported it to the FTC and pretty much gave up hope. Months later, someone who saw my complaint told me to email cyberfundsrecovery12@ gmail. Com. I was super skeptical (once bitten, twice shy), but they actually knew exactly how these scams work. It took about 3 months of paperwork, verifications, and bank back-and-forth, but I got a big chunk of my money back. Not all of it, but way more than I thought I’d ever see again. If you’ve been scammed, don’t give up — there are people who can help, but be careful who you trust.
