I asked one question and paid a $2 fee with my credit card, they will start charging me with a so-called membership fee monthly without my authorization! Once i found out, they agree to cancel the membership but refuse to refund the money they stealed. BE AWARE! Fraud and stealing!
Update11/25/2022: after a couple of phone calls with the customer service and "Manager", and a couple reviews about JustAnswer, they have decided to refund 50% of the membership fee! In the email they claim " When you visited our site and began the process of posting your question, you were met with several messages from us explaining how you are signing up for a Membership to run for 30 days, starting from when you post your first question, where we would collect a monthly payment from you each month until you decide to cancel the service." Basically it is saying that until you found out you were charged, they will be happily taking money from your bank account each month, claiming you have agreed! There is not email providing any membership information; neither receipt of the so-called "membership charge"!
In reality I was only asked if I would like to contribute a $2 by speaking to a specialist!
So it looked like so many others were tricked into their fraud.
Too good to be true. The landing page for the google ad I clicked on said I'd only be charged $5... then was magically charged $60... called support, they won't refund. Asked to speak to a manager. Said they have high call volume and never got to a manager.
Really, really disappointing.Stay away... service was ok, but it's about how you treat people. Do. Not. Do. Business. With. People. Like. This.
They don't deserve your money or energy.

I, and I see I'm not unique, signed on to ask a one question for $2.00CAD. They billed me $105.00. It was unauthorized. They put me over my limit, so now I haved a od charge as well. These people are the lowest of the low., Even tho I've asked for a refund, Scam artists rarely comport themselves. Thgey are just a rip off. I had "one" question - so they just. Put me on a monthly membership? For $105.00 a month? Many, many expletives deleted.

The JustAnswer is a total scam. Do not use this business! They never answer my question however, they charge me a $75 instead of $1 as I was told. I have to cancel my credit card in order to protect my account.

Be Careful! It is a bit of a scam... I was happy with the service I received from my one-time conversation with a mechanic, however, unbeknownst to me, by paying $34 for the interaction, I apparently agreed to a "Membership" with a MONTHLY charge of $34. I of course, had no intention of signing up for a monthly membership. It is very deceptive how they trick you into signing up for a monthly membership! Be careful.
Thankfully, I was able to call their customer service number which I found on Google. They did refund my second $34 charge.
I think this is a very deceptive business practice. Shame on them.

Asked JustAnswer for a question on art value. In the short, the did a very poor job informing me of the process and communicating with me. In 2-1/2 hours I got two lines from the "expert". "What is your name" and "Nice to meet you". Then I got all sort of run around from their customer service and finally they just cut the e_chat off. No help just frustration! Will never use them again. This is my first ever negative review, so it was really a bad experience. Beware?

I was told by them that it's free with no sign up... Then after I asked a question they hit me with the one dollar. Bs. Do not go to this website. Their frauds... Report them to the police instead. They're taking people's money and screwing them over.

Don't use their service
I cancelled my membership- didn't know I should look for a cancelation email because that wasn't clear and still got charged for the amount. They wouldn't refund me and when I was expressing my concerns the representative disconnected the chat. Not professional and not something I will ever use again.

This company has sharp practices: asking you to pay £5 to answer your question, but automatically deducting another £35 for a membership you didn't want. Yes, of course they put some small print somewhere to legally cover themselves,.but the practice is unethical. I am one of the many that has fallen into their trap. I have terminated the membership I never asked for in the first place and requested a refund. From the many reviews below, it would appear they refuse to refund their customers's requests. Do please READ THE REVIEWS FIRST or, like me, you'll find money being taken from you that you didn't expect!

This site is super scummy, and you should not support it.
They will repeatedly charge you without notification and have extremely poor customer service.
I was disconnected 4 times from their associate "Pearl" who is clearly many people with the same name.
By disconnected, I mean when I was trying to cancel the account they ended the chat-line. When transferred to a supervisor on my fourth attempt I was disconnected after not responding fast enough... (while actively typing for about a minute).
Never give them your money, anything they can provide you will be free online and equally as helpful. For a business that is this sketchily ran I would be very hesitant to listen to any "medical" advice or otherwise.

1000% Efficient Scammers... They offer a one week free trial for a refundable $2 fee to get your credit card details then they start charging an Unauthorised monthly fee of $66 immediately without any prior mention at all... Then to get that unauthorised charge refunded is an absolute nightmare. They use every trick in the book to try to run circles around you... They refused to refund the unauthorised transaction to me until I threatened to expose them by reporting them to every legal authority available... They thought they were so clever until they came across me... I finally got my refund once they understood that I wasn't going to backdown... One day they will do it one too many times and end up in prison for a very long time or worse... Most people don't suffer fools like this mob gladly... Don't trust this bunch for one millisecond... At first, you are led to believe that you can pose a question for $1. However, when you sign up, you end up paying a $46 monthly fee. In my case, I needed support with Microsoft Office. To get the support from Microsoft, I needed to pay an additional Microsoft fee of $39. Avoid this site as fees are excessive.

First of all, this is a deceptive advertisement, the company lures you into a one-time payment of 5DKK. I used this service only once, because the answer that I got was from first link on Google. Nothing less, basically for one question they took 333DKK from my account. Of course, I did not read anywhere that I will pay more than 5DKK. After contacting the company, they refused to refund me the amount, and on top of that, the operator shut me down so that he didn't have to deal with me. If you look it up online, you will notice that the majority of te users have got the same issue. Don't waste your time and money. ITS A FRAUD.

They do not inform you that you are signing up for a membership and will be charged a fee later. They charge you an initial small fee (this doesn't make sense if you are also signing up for a membership, why would they charge the fee). Also, the answer I got was not helpful at all.

They said $1 for a one time fee, once I paid that they charged me $50 for a membership i didn't ask for and won't give me a refund. They only mentioned the extra $50 after I paid the $1? Now I have more to worry about than chest pains.

Answer: I got scammed last year for just over $50k on what I thought was a legit investment site. Everything looked real — I even withdrew a small amount at first — then one day my account was “under review” and the site vanished. I reported it to the FTC and pretty much gave up hope. Months later, someone who saw my complaint told me to email cyberfundsrecovery12@ gmail. Com. I was super skeptical (once bitten, twice shy), but they actually knew exactly how these scams work. It took about 3 months of paperwork, verifications, and bank back-and-forth, but I got a big chunk of my money back. Not all of it, but way more than I thought I’d ever see again. If you’ve been scammed, don’t give up — there are people who can help, but be careful who you trust.
