I asked a question on there platform and was told by there staff that it would cost A$2 to have my question answered. I was also charged A$42 at the same time. This is apparently a monthly membership fee and when I cancelled it and asked for a refund they refused the refund and basically told me I was in the wrong.
This is a scam site. I have no association, they took advantage of my parent who is on a fixed income and was NOT indicated anywhere she would be charged $46 for one question.
Had to call multiple times to ensure 1) a refund or they would receive contested charge, 2) followup with your bank to ensure they will not have access to your account ever again.
You may have a long wait time, but stick to it and you should get a refund. I hope this helps!

I joined for £5 to ask about an immigration understanding which was fast and had quick answers on some of the immigration requirements but not really helpful as the person did not know what is the Right of Abode and only transferred me to the waiver form that I already knew. After this £50 was deducted for 2 months and I only saw it the second month. No email was sent to tell me of this or to accept the membership and that the trail was over. A lot of sites do this, and automatically change it from a trail to a monthly subscription making money out of innocent people.
Nevertheless JustAnswer has returned one of the month payments as it was on hold.

Total ripoff. $60.00 per month for what?. Tried canceling the membership what a hassle. Customer support is out of the country so Good luck understanding their english. Super horrible experience.

Be careful they charge $1 to ask a question then you are signed up for a whole month, even if you cancel the same day they charge you a full month membership not refundable.
Question was answered but the bank balance is $55 lower even though I won't use this again this month. They even removed the initial bank charge of $55 and re-posted the charge 3 days later.
Really deceptive, I would rather they charge me $10 for one question and no monthly fee. Their customer service gives no service, just " I am sorry but you signed up even though you cancelled" This was for Yahoo, they don't even have their own customer service support amazing

All they do is ask a few basic questions on repeat and then attempt to charge you to redirect to an actual solution. Literally appears to be a chatbot with connection to Google and not a real person. Your better off using google to look for a nearby business than replying on this bull$#*!.

I was just trying to see what the service does. They wanted to charge $5 and said that was fully refundable in the chat. SO, I paid it. They then sent me an email that the $5 fee was waived, but I was being charged $35 as I had previously been a member. I do not recall that at all, but it certainly is possible. The fact remains, I was authorizing a $5 not $35. I closed the chat and did not engage with service provider so I did not receive any services. Refund request was denied

I contacted Just Answer to get some employment information for my small company. They stated a $5.00 initial charge and then charge $39. Their chat line stops working after a few responses so you can't even communicate. The phone is a joke and totally automated. You can't get anyone on the phone. They tell you you will be billed $5 and then get billed $39. No one contacts you and you can't get anyone on the phone. They said someone would be back to me within a few minures and then an hour.
I waited all day an no response. I don;t even know if or how I can cancel. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!

What they say on their website like 24/7 or Guaranteed refund and..., is just a slogan. When you pay, no one will answer your message until the official time. They scam people with the payment as well, and the payment process is confusing, you think that you pay for only your question, but after a month you know that the membership has been automatically enabled. They deducted my money for the next month when I contacted them to cancel and request for a refund, they canceled and closed the chat. I found JustAnswer a scammer and will never recommend it to anyone.

Beware of of this company, they are a scam. While I was on vacation overseas, I ran into a problem with a new Android device. I couldn't seem to correct it so I decided to use just answer for some support. I started by answering basic questions asked by their bot which led to an offer for more detailed support by paying a small entry fee of €1. Beware. The €1 charge was the primary focus on screen but hidden in small print was a much more exorbitant monthly membership fee. After paying the small fee, the bot responded to say that they were going to connect me with an expert to help with " my smart TV issue". When I tried to correct to the Android issue, the bot responded to say that they were going to connect me with an expert to help with " my e-reader issue". At this point I realized it was a scam and I backed out. During this chat they sent me the attached email detailing the "TWO" fees (and ongoing) they charged. I immediately went to their website to cancel my membership, although it was well hidden having to drill down several layers to find the cancel button. In fairness they did provide me with an email confirmation of the cancellation. I then placed a call to their North American customer service department. After explaining the issue, their CS rep advised that the membership fee was merely an authorization that was placed on my credit card and since I canceled my membership within 7 days (in my case within 30 minutes) the membership fee would not be processed. It was! When I texted customer service to put in writing the confirmation for not processing the membership fee, I received emails from just answer acknowledging the mix-up in the service support issues on my account, and that no support service was ever provided to me but stated they would charge me the membership fee anyway. Beware. This company is nothing but a scam. The small fee is there only to hide the larger immediate membership fee!

I signed up to ask a doctor a question. They ask for your card information and state it will be a 5.00 sign up fee. That was fine by me til I received an email that I would be charged 46.00 per month for the website service. I figured, "fine, I will just cancel and be out 50 bucks for the month but have my issue resolved." I ask my question which involves my sore throat and they send a dentist to try to solve my issue. The kind dentist, Dr. Behere is the ONLY reason I gave 2 stars. They did their best and answered what they could in a professional and easy to understand manner. I had to go back and demand a refund which they did give so kudos to the customer support team as well.

BE AWARE! DO NOT I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY THEIR SERVICE. THEY ARE SIGNING YOU UP FOR $60 SUB FEE! This is a total Scam! Warning you are not paying $5 but are singing subscribing for $60/month. I am writing this after my initial review and discovered that they charged me a subscription fee of $60/month, and I have paid a total of $120. So apparently, the $5 is a trap to charge you a subscription fee of $60/month. I know that I didn't sub as this is a one-time service that I needed, but I found out they have scammed me $120 for a 2-month sub fee. Fortunately, and after $120 Scammed, I unsubscribed! It is a total Scam, and now I know that is how they made their money! And because I paid them thru Paypal, Paypal would simply close the case stating and referring me back to these scammers!

Not clear and transparant as to what you're giving your cc details for. Asked 1 question and they used my CC details to sign me up to a subscription without authorisation. Have not used it past that one question and they have no interest in doing the right thing. Scammers, taking money without authority.

Just ask claim to deduct an amount of R15. Instead they upfront deducted R599. Not a good start for a site relying on trust

I got advice one time and I thought the advice was good. Unfortunately, my dog passed away a short time later. I wasn't able to cancel the re-occurring charges for a couple of months because of handling arrangements for my pet and my daughter totaling her car. When I asked for a refund of the most recent charge (or more if they were able) because my dog passed away, I was told "I'm sorry, these charges are non-refundable". Never said he was sorry about my pet or my loss. When I said how horrible that was, he said he was sorry I felt that way and I should have a nice day. I can't explain how awful this made me feel.

The advertise clearly ask for $5.00 to answer my question. Immediately asked for my credit card information.i waited 20 min. And "Pearl Wilson " suggested at the moment Nobody is available to answer my question and left a *******718. At that point their website where we chatted would not let me write anything else. Simply froze. I Immediately checked my bank account and hey had charged me twice( under home repair). $5 and $40 I called the number and they said is an automatic membership to be charged every month. I called my bank and canceled card and now I need to notify all my automatic withdrawal linked to my card. So the reason I gave them a 1 star.

Answer: I got scammed last year for just over $50k on what I thought was a legit investment site. Everything looked real — I even withdrew a small amount at first — then one day my account was “under review” and the site vanished. I reported it to the FTC and pretty much gave up hope. Months later, someone who saw my complaint told me to email cyberfundsrecovery12@ gmail. Com. I was super skeptical (once bitten, twice shy), but they actually knew exactly how these scams work. It took about 3 months of paperwork, verifications, and bank back-and-forth, but I got a big chunk of my money back. Not all of it, but way more than I thought I’d ever see again. If you’ve been scammed, don’t give up — there are people who can help, but be careful who you trust.
