I had a very brief online "chat" and realized I need to contact local attorney familiar with my city. Then immediately cancelled (or so I thought). The next day my CC was charged the expected $5… plus the $39 renewal fee. Had to call Just A to actually cancel "membership." Contacted CC to remove fraudulent $39 charge. Be careful!

I am extremely dissatisfied with this service. The registration was supposed to cost only $2, but I never received any confirmation via text or email. To make matters worse, they charged me $66 without even giving me the opportunity to chat with a doctor. This experience feels like a scam and is highly disappointing.

I visited this website in Dec 2022, But till then it was debiting my credit card for $79/- month, without informing me that it was charging every month on this account. If you are charging every month then it is the duty of the charging company to let the client know every month before charging any amount to the credit card. Very bad service charged me more than $600/forgetting nothing.

I texted with a tech support person with the understanding that I would pay $1.00. The rep was not helpful and I ended the text communication. I was charged the $1.00 but also $52.00 and $39.00. I never received any help or any support. When I called Just Answer I was told I was being rude and he would not credit my account. I am beyond upset and wanted to alert others to not use this company.

I have never heard of "JustAnswer" before. I forgot my swipe pattern on a Google Motorola phone and was looking for answer from my google account, but this "thing" showed up and asked me if I wanted help for $1. Since I have already tried everything I could find on the website, I agreed. I gave them my Amex account, they told me they couldn't get through, so I gave them my Discover account. Someone contacted me and after a few questions, he sent me a Youtube video with the same thing I have already tried a hundred times and he disappeared. My issue was not resolved.
Then I received a text from Amex informing me that I was charged for $1 and another one for $46. I responded to Amex that I only agreed to $1 and not the $46. Amex rejected the charge.
I got suspicious because they told me they couldn't get through my Amex. Then I checked my Discover account and sure enough there were two charges pending from "JustAnswer". I called Discover but they wouldn't do anything until the charge actual went through. I was speechless. I couldn't believe that they actually were going to sit there and let someone like "JustAnswer" scam me. I cancelled my account with Discover later that day because I don't want to do business like Discover who wants to sit there and watch a scam took place. BTW, Discover still demands that I pay them.

I asked a question I thought was going to cost me $5. Then they say if you subscribe, we will send you a text/email before charging your card. Well, I never received the email or text about the charge.
When I complained I got ZERO response.
Also, the advise I got from a EXPERT on their site said that the car was not starting because of the auto on/off switch. I new this was not the case and then asked their EXPERT if it could be a starter going bad. His simple response was yes. I knew it was not the auto on/off switch because sometimes the car just would not start. The only time the auto on/off switch would activate was when I forgot to turn it off. Their EXPERT was nice so I left a good review, but they did not know what they were talking about!

False advertising. Woman / bot advertises a $2 refundable fee and then quickly charges you $70! False advertising, misleading and even if you cancel subscription. I didn't accept any terms and conditions, BTW, you still don't get refunded. There are 100s of reviews similar to mine on product review. Can't believe I've been scammed.

I have a sick dog and needed a vet consultation, I basically got chat bots and nonsense, worse, off-shore support, which didn't help at all. And lies about vets contacting me.which, they didn't. This is a nightmare.avoid at all costs.

Told me there would be $1 charge and ended up charging me $46 for a membership. Dis NOT answer my question, in fact, after further researching on my own - I ended up telling the person assigned to me the correct answer.
Website said fee was fully refundable when I called Customer Service that gal essentially told me "Too bad" - she canceled the membership but wouldn't refund me the $46. CROOKS!

I wanted to ask one question for something small, and I got the message to make that $5.00 fee thinking that was what I had to pay for one question turns out that you were paying for a membership that cost $USD63 per month. I saw this charge and immediately contacted them for a refund since I had no use of the service. Ofcourse, these awful people said sorry you are unable to get a refund. What this terrible place should do it make it clear that the "small fee" is not for a question but to steak your money. Absolute scammers and just disgusting people. Somehow I deleted all of my saved accounts and passwords while adjusting my settings on my PC. I called my local internet provider who suggested I call Microsoft support, but somehow I ended with this group, which I initially THOUGHT was Microsoft support. I hired an "expert" for $39 and he ended the session when he realized he could not help me. I was then told I would be referred to another "expert" at no cost. However, he told me he would not help me unless I paid another $39, so I did. That was the last I heard of him. I wasted about 4 hours yesterday and got nowhere. I then purchased a time for $199 for what I thought was a 4 hour session for August 3. When I got the confirmation email, what I purchased was a one hour session at $199 with 3 additional slots at $149 per slot, if needed. I emailed them this morning and told them to cancel that appointment my account. I will see if they agree to do that. I will contact a local repair company, such as the Geek Squad. I would steer clear of these. Smells like a scam. Terrible customer service.

Just answer company shows you the option of using their service for one-time fee of $1. Little do you know that you're actually agreeing to also a $34 one month membership. They state you can cancel anytime and go ahead and try us out for $1. This is misleading to the customer. Why offer this great $1 deal that shows the customer why wouldn't I take this opportunity, but also we are agreeing to an entire month membership for trying it additionally?
Why don't you just say it's $35 for one month instead of doing this misleading marketing? Because they want the money out of you no matter what.They obviously make a lot of money by first time users because no matter how much you utilize this service, your $1 also includes a one-month membership. I joined because of the $1 try me offer. Talk to someone about my car for about an hour which didn't lead me to any helpful advice. Canceled the subscription immediately, received a cancellation notice on my email, and then a couple days later received a welcome letter and a charge on my bank account. After two emails stating that this was unfair and they could choose to refund my money. They stated their backing up their claims of what was offered and no refund will be given. If you have a one-time question go somewhere else it'll cost you a lot more money than a free estimate from a mechanic. You can literally get better advice just by posting on social media your question or looking it up on the internet. The way they make their money is ridiculous.

Everything looked real — I even withdrew a small amount at first — then one day my account was “under review” and the site vanished. I reported it to the FTC and pretty much gave up hope. Months later, someone who saw my complaint told me to email cyberfundsrecovery12@ gmail. Com. I was super skeptical (once bitten, twice shy), but they actually knew exactly how these scams work. It took about 3 months of paperwork, verifications, and bank back-and-forth, but I got a big chunk of my money back. Not all of it, but way more than I thought I’d ever see again. If you’ve been scammed, don’t give up — there are people who can help, but be careful who you trust.
