Makes you believe you can get an answer for just $5 and then they sneak in a second charge for the 1st of a $40 per month subscription. So your question actually costs $45. When you complain they immediately cancel your subscription and say they can't refund you because you no longer have an account with them. Even when you called the next day. So, you've paid the full month for a 1 day subscription.

I received a email from one of the sales people on POSHMARK, she said that garment bags was going quickly and if I wanted them I need to purchase them now.
I had already purchased the bags, so I went the customer complaint page to fill out a request to remove one of the charges.
Somehow I was redirected to Just Answers, I was not aware that I was not on the poshmart site anymore, I told them that I was charged twice for the one items.
When Just Answer asked for my card security code I thoughts that they were going to refund my money back to my card.
So I told them that somehow I were on the wrong website, they said no problem they will work on getting everything fixed.
By this time I received a text from the sales person and she removed it extra charges.
I am now aware that I am on the wrong website and had been misdirected, and told them that.
I ask them what are you talking about and how are you going to fixed anything.
I didn't know that I was joining a membership, no one said that I was joining a membership until I told them that they I was on the wrong website.
Just Answers emailed me letting me know that they have refunded my $46.00 dollars back to my credit card.
They say they understood that I thought that I was on POSHMARK. And this is why they refunded my money back.

An absolute con. The AI bot will tell you that speaking to an expert will cost you just £1 but when you enter your details you are actually signing up to membership. It's cost me £48. Absolutely no point speaking to customer services, computer says no. Absolute scum of the earth company.
Would be 0 stars but it won't let me give a zero!

I had a vet question. The link the CS agent gave me said "Join for $!.00 the $28.00/mo. Cancel anytime." The vet never called and I was charged the full $28.99 immediately. I chatted with CS and told them I wanted a refund. "Robert", the CS rep, skirted the issue and closed the chat. I contacted him AGAIN and he finally canceled the charge. This is nothing but a scam!

This company is a scam. They advertise on their website that to communicate with one of their attorneys is $5 and if you want to continue with a membership, there would be a monthly fee of $65. They immediately charged me $65 and tried to convince me that the $65 charge was valid. I finally threatened them telling them that they are a scam and they kept trying to tell me that I owed $65 until I told them that they were a scam. They claim they will refund my money within 5-7 working days.

I went online to find free lawyer advice on Dec 14. The justanswers.com website came up, and advertises someone can ask a question for $5. It does not make it clear to a consumer that they automatically enroll you in their monthly plan. I only found out by checking my bank account. When I went to the website, I saw I could cancel my membership, so i did. I cancelled it less than 24 hours from paying the initial $5 and asking my question. This company refuses to refund me the $60 saying it was in their hidden rules that if you ask a question, you pay $5 + a monthly membership fee.
This company is practicing deceitful advertising, and should honor a refund for someone who was tricked into their services and cancelled their membership immediately when I found out they blindly made me sign up for a membership.

Utilized the service in April and May of 2023 and paid the agreed amount of $59.00 each month. They charged me another $5.00 they were not supposed to, but the larger problem is they charged me $59.00 per month for each of June, July, August, September, October, November, and December of 2023, totaling $418.00 when I only approved charges of $118.00 total ($59.00 x 2 months).
My cc finally put a stop payment on the vendor and the vendor stated they would stop charging me, but who knows if it will work since they already charged me more than triple what I agreed to pay and refused to refund my money.

I used one time and didn't even get the correct information! Then, I was billed again for no service the next month! I Next to impossible to get a refund! As soon as I requested to speak with someone in customer service, it was all crickets! Scam!

12/2023 - I reached out (and paid) as a last attempt to seek help, justice, or recovery assistance after the sexual assaults I went through. The "lawyer" told me to "Google it" after I asked him for referrals or resources for sexual assault victims. Again, because I am grasping for literally any help I can get. I'm upset I paid for this and I'm upset that my situation was greatly minimized and made fun of. The "lawyer" also told me "your perpetrator may see what you post here". So anyone seeking confidentiality, security, or help, I recommend looking elsewhere. See the photos I attached to this - "if you don't know already, everything you mention on here is open to the public". Obviously, but so embarrassed I trusted this company to help me and not hurt me like they have done today.

It started out as a dollar to ask a medical doctor a question. Upon entering my credit card I was charged a dollar. But what they dont tell you but advertise that its not possible is to get a prescription from them or to refill a prescription. Today I was looking at my account and Ive been charged 46.00 for the dollar question. There is only 1 way to cancel subscription and get this you have to pay them again 14.95 I think for a cancellation letter they send email. So nothing the Just Ask has to say is no the truth. All lies and scams/

The CPA "expert" have not answered my question, just sent me a bunch of useless links, but Justanswer billed me $71+$2 right away for a subscription I never signed up. Dishonest business.

I wanted the advice of a Real Estate Attorney. On the JustAnswer webpage where they ask for your Credit Card data it clearly stated in the header "Real Estate Law." The next line said, "Get your answer from a lawyer in minutes"!... So, I contracted to talk to a RE Attorney. I was told I would be connected to a Real Estate Attorney...However, they then connected me with a CPA. I texted that I asked for a Real Estate Lawyer. I texted that I did not sign up for a CPA. I texted I wanted my money back! The CPA texted asking me to give him a few minutes to review my offered information on the details of my inquiry. Their CPA then texted back with information readily available to anyone who can use Internet search. I texted that I wanted all credit charges reversed and any association with them canceled. I texted they had lost my trust. Their CPA then said he would OPT out...They then connected me with a Tax consultant...I was caught in a hassle with no end. I did document most of my chat with Screenprints. So I'm contesting.

I signed up for this service and I was unaware of who it actually operates. Then I requested a refund and was denied because they don't allow refunds unfortunately. You won't find out until you request one, or read the entire site. Be aware for this website.

I asked for legal advice for a hoarder tenant, and this is all they said; twice!
"In this situation, I think using a lawyer would be helpful. That involvement can range from representation to having someone in the background for feedback. Beware of these scammers. They offered me a consultation online worth $2. When i provided my credit card number, they charged me $68. When i called them, they said that i subscribed for their membership which a lie. It is total scam.

I recently was charged $46 for asking one question to one of their alleged attorneys while under the impression it was only $5. I came to them in a vulnerable mental state and upon receiving and unsatisfying answer I asked the attorney to not contact me anymore. They did. They continued to contact me after I repeatedly asked them to stop harassing me. They refused to tell me their full name or bar number so I could report the continued harassment to the proper authorities. The whole experience left me in a worsened mental state that I was already in. Beware of this company and their shady practices.

Answer: I got scammed last year for just over $50k on what I thought was a legit investment site. Everything looked real — I even withdrew a small amount at first — then one day my account was “under review” and the site vanished. I reported it to the FTC and pretty much gave up hope. Months later, someone who saw my complaint told me to email cyberfundsrecovery12@ gmail. Com. I was super skeptical (once bitten, twice shy), but they actually knew exactly how these scams work. It took about 3 months of paperwork, verifications, and bank back-and-forth, but I got a big chunk of my money back. Not all of it, but way more than I thought I’d ever see again. If you’ve been scammed, don’t give up — there are people who can help, but be careful who you trust.
