Same as all other reviews. Cancelled membership and they still kept taking $66 every month. Only way to make it stop was to cancel my card. These people are making money off peoples problems...it's disgusting beyond belief!

I signed up thinking it was a $5.00 fee and automatically / very quickly was charged $44.00 - I cancelled immediately after giving my card info but no credit back for service NOT used! Illegal advertising is a crime! I called to ask for a credit back and was told that they could not help me. So, hard lesson learned there. Criminals! They do not deserve one star, but no choice in the ratings here.

When you get on their chat you are asked to pay five dollars. Then you get to the payment site and not are you only asked to pay $5 but an additional $69 that you are lead to believe that you can cancel and not be charged. This is not true you are charged the $69 regardless of how soon you cancel i called within minutes of seeing the charge and was told I would not be charged. When I called back after the charge was not removed I was told oh that is non refundable. Im sorry but that is wrong no matter how you look at it.

I used the service once and paid for it and I did follow the instructions to make the cancelation months ago. I was very surprised when I saw a 40$ charge this month. I communicated with them and they avoiding my concerns. I asked them to provide me with a refund for this month and didn't get any follow through. A bit of a scam, they obviously make it hard to make a cancelation. They are very polite when answering but they don't follow through.

Thank god it was only 1 pound for the trial. I asked my question and it took about 1 hour to get a response. Every message thereafter took at least 30 minutes. The first suggestion from the technician was wrong - even I knew that from a bit of Googling I had done myself. He agreed I was correct and the final message was "I think you should get a local professional to look at it" and then "I hope I have helped you today". They were no help whatsoever! THEN a few days later I received an email asking for feedback, which I obviously clicked 1 out of 10 for, so I was offered to ask my question again for free...but then the link only led me to pay again! No free answer at all - that was when I decided I would write this review. I feel this site may only be useful for easy questions that one could Google eventually themselves, or creative questions that aren't a clear wrong or right.

I have a negative experience with this website.
I tried to become an expert but because of technical issue on their website i was not able to upload the CV. Also after everything i submitted the request to become an expert however the website said my request was not submitted and that i should write to their expert team. So i did. In their response they didn't apologize nor addressed any of my issues just wrote they will not be moving my request any further.
I have graduated with highest honors in Psychology and have several years of experience in HR and never came accross such unprofessionality.

I was putting in my cc info for what I was told a $5.00 charge, for a Just Answer technician to help me with the tv. I put in my cc info, and thank god it was declined, because before I even got to the technician, Just Answer was charging me $46.00 for something and a $30.00 charge for a membership I DID NOT WANT. I called my bank to clear up the different charges. I'll tell you, Wells Fargo was looking out for me!'

They immediately charge your credit card extra $86, in addition to the $2 mentioned, but no answers and no lawyer. Already, and SUCCESSFULLY, contacted my bank to dispute the transaction and cancelled my credit card in case these scumbags try to steal from me again...

January 27,, 2023 I authorized a credit card chage of $1.00 to try JustAnswer. I was totally dissatisfied with the so-called expert who had a lousy attitude and provided no service. I did not sign up for an account, nor did I authorize any further charges.
Just Answer has been charging my credit card for $46.00 for 3 months, a total so far of $138.00.
I didn't know this before, primarily due to illness, including hospitalization.
I am filing as many complaints as possible on cosumer sites to warn people of this scam. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and with Just Answer.

These tricky thieves will rip you off. Don't fall for their gimmick of paying $5 for questions. They will turn around and charge you nearly $50 for your $5 question. They WERE NOT UPFRONT with their HIDDEN charges when I initially signed up to get a single question answered. I will never use this service again.

Was told they did prescriptions through online doctors, and it says that they do on their site... Only to have the doctor tell me that he can't do that.
Then was charged 2$ (for the "one time" convo and of which I was aware) and then ANOTHER 68$ to get signed up monthly (for which I did NOT consent).
They don't plan on refunding, so they run on theft in my opinion.

I went on the just answer website and asked a question that I believed would cost £5 I was misslead by justanswer and when I contacted them they were flippant, saying that if I had read the terms and conditions. All together they took 6 payments of £28 not what I would call a decent company.

Was told by the receptionist I would be charged a refundable $5. Put my card info in and was charged $69 which I'm told is "not refundable" and that they were "totally transparent". Literally taking advantage of vulnerable people.

They charge your credit card without letting you know, £5 for a first question, reasonable answer but not worth it, then they charge you £38 every mouth until you check your bill.

Basically just got in from work, realised I've been defrauded by this shower of bellends.
I ride a bike, don't even own a car, haven't got a licence. Never set up an account, never agreed to anything. Contacted customer 'bot' service, and basically got told to go away, and send an email. Takes the piss. How this is legal is beyond me. How it is a registered company is just worrying for the future...

Answer: I got scammed last year for just over $50k on what I thought was a legit investment site. Everything looked real — I even withdrew a small amount at first — then one day my account was “under review” and the site vanished. I reported it to the FTC and pretty much gave up hope. Months later, someone who saw my complaint told me to email cyberfundsrecovery12@ gmail. Com. I was super skeptical (once bitten, twice shy), but they actually knew exactly how these scams work. It took about 3 months of paperwork, verifications, and bank back-and-forth, but I got a big chunk of my money back. Not all of it, but way more than I thought I’d ever see again. If you’ve been scammed, don’t give up — there are people who can help, but be careful who you trust.
