Horrible experience. These guys make you pay for someone to give advise that you could find yourself on Google. Then once you pay for worthless help, they subscribe you and now took another fee from my account and refuse a refund.

Joined and connected with a lawyer on the site, the advice I got was to google the answer myself. I realize for $89 I wasn't going to get much but I was hoping for a bit more than " conduct a generic internet search" and than find a local lawyer.

Just answer charges now and very expensive. Do you know that just answer used to be free? And it used to be free for many years because it used to be called ask Jeeves. One thing that happened was I got these two mouses at a yard sale and when I looked inside where the batteries go they did not have USB chips. Without them I cannot hook up to a computer and the mouse will not run. So I ran into these just answer sites with so-called experts and I said can I buy the USB chips when they're not with the mice that I bought? I don't have them I need to buy them. And do you know what the expert says she says and he says are you using it wirelessly and I said in shock if it's a USB chip it is wirelessly. Then they said is the pointer moving I said I told you I do not have the chip to make it run. I went to about four different just answers and the same questions came up. How are you making the mouse run and which is are you using it wirelessly and is the pointer moving those were the two very ingenious questions that I got asked. These guys came up on a "Bing in Skype" search that my mother performed trying to understand something. I'm not clear how they actually scammed her, but she says they called her on Skype and offered to answer her question for $1. They never answered her question but talked very fast. She never gave them her bank or credit card information, but apparently they tricked her to click on something in Skype (where she has her credit card on file), and in addition to the $1, they started charging her a $55 monthly fee.
Obviously, anyone talking to my mother would understand that English is not her native language and she is not a sophisticated computer user. They basically tricked her to obtain her credit card information and signed her up for a subscription without her consent and then stole her money... and they never even answered her trivial computer question.
These people are immoral scammers preying on people!

I paid $59 just to talk to a legal assistant to say something that was of no help to me. But, the real reason I think this is a RACKET FOR FUNDS for them, is that they don't tell you upfront that in order for you to talk with someone, and in addition to the $59 to talk to them, you will be later charged an additional $60 for a membership that you have to pay and be a member of in order to speak to the legal assistant. Why would I need a membership for a one-time thing? That is the RACKET FOR FUNDS I believe is taking place!

I signed up to pay $1 for advice on Samsung printer and received an email with a link to click. My computer was then taken over by "Richard" and then debit card was charged $55 the $39 and I never received any advice. Obviously I deleted "Richard's" ability to control my computer and cancelled my debit card informing the Bank of unauthorised transactions. Absolute hassle and complete SCAM

What a joke and a waste of money. Did absolutely nothing for me. The" expert" could hardly speak English and the responses I received were obviously programed replies. So obvious. Refund guarantee, bull$#*!. Cost me 62.00 for nothing.

I was assured that after paying R15 - I would receive the information I requested only to receive nothing and the next day get R599 deducted from my account from them. Had to go get my card cancelled Busy at my bank filing a case as we speak! Stay away from them!

I used this site to get items appraised and was cancelled because I used it too often. I had no idea that there was a limit and when they canceled my account I was still paying for it! I am a collector so I purchased this service to help me with appraisals and was never told that there was some Fair Use Act that actually limits the number of inquiries you can make. The online support is not helpful and I will let everyone that I recommended purchase this to not trust this company.

Their expert suggested that I ask for a refund which I did. I then got an email saying that they can't refund me. USE another site if you value your money.

This is just a robot site. There is no one to answer your questions. I asked specifically for a rabbit vet but they don't have one. I need a prescription filled and they can't do that either. They want to charge $35 per month but they can't even help you with a simple question or a prescription. What good are they? I would not recommend this sight for exotics. They are specifcally listed as a rabbit vet online but have no one to answer questions about them.

This is a 24/7 advertised service. I tried it and it took 11 hours to get back to me. Based on the lack of response it's false advertising. The tech reach you start with is clearly a BOT based on my responses and the answer/questions I got back, too.

They told me they'll charge me $5 and it's fully refundable but then I saw my bank had 35 taken out. I tried to call them and they refused to pay me back. Because I texted the veterinarian not knowing they TOOK $35 out of my contact. They also stated they can't diagnose or prescribe pet but yet the woman said on the phone that the veterinarian diagnose my dog when she didn't. I canceled the membership right away.

Thank goodness I was able to cancel my direct debit with this company after a lot of searching. They have been taking £50/month without my consent. I never knew they had set up a direct debit. DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR BANK DETAILS as it appears a direct debit is automatically set up for a membership fee!
I got an email address for the company from the negative reviews they replied to. They have stated they will refund my money! I hope all the negative reviews will wake them up so they become more transparent with the membership fees.

Used this service to get advice for my dog who was in poor health. Service advertises $2 to join and ask questions to a veterinarian. In my crisis, I signed up and unfortunately my dog passed a day later. Little did I know I had signed up for a $42/month subscription - which it did not clearly state ANYWHERE on the website or in the process of signing up. Now I have paid for multiple months of this service with no use since I don't even have a dog anymore.
I have talked to numerous customer service representatives from Just Answer - one who disconnected from me purposefully on the chat mid-conversation, and others over the phone, who have baited me with a phone call from a "supervisor" - which I have not received.
This company is a scam and just tries to trick people into a subscription unknowingly, and refuses to make the situation better even though they state "Your satisfaction is our #1 priority

Answer: I got scammed last year for just over $50k on what I thought was a legit investment site. Everything looked real — I even withdrew a small amount at first — then one day my account was “under review” and the site vanished. I reported it to the FTC and pretty much gave up hope. Months later, someone who saw my complaint told me to email cyberfundsrecovery12@ gmail. Com. I was super skeptical (once bitten, twice shy), but they actually knew exactly how these scams work. It took about 3 months of paperwork, verifications, and bank back-and-forth, but I got a big chunk of my money back. Not all of it, but way more than I thought I’d ever see again. If you’ve been scammed, don’t give up — there are people who can help, but be careful who you trust.
