We went through the usual steps. In the end he recommended replace possibly faulty cartridge, before taking printer for service. Probably not worth servicing, since printer was v cheap - and worked well until now, which may well not be its fault. (Printer probably cheaper than double cartridge pack!)

I feel, however, that it was not clear upfront online that I would be charged beyond the $5.00, but apparently that is "refunded" when and if you order service, but in effect you are signing up for one month of the service for $55.00 no matter what. Well, I have already cancelled any more monthly charges and I was happy with the information provided by the phone call from Alex, so, overall, it was "worth" it.

I asked about differences ( round vs oval bowl, for example), and he had model numbers for all the variations. We were on the chat for about 30 minutes.
I was told I was paying a one-time, fully refundable $5 fee to ask a question, but JustAnswer secretly enrolled me in a $35/month subscription I never knowingly agreed to. I didn't even realize I was being charged until months later. When I contacted support, they initially refused to refund anything. I had to fight hard, provide proof, and escalate the issue just to get a partial refund—and they still refused to return all the charges. The subscription was buried in fine print, and their virtual assistant clearly misrepresented what I was signing up for. It feels like a bait-and-switch. I've reported them to the BBB and FTC. Be extremely cautious if you use this site.

Everything looked real — I even withdrew a small amount at first — then one day my account was “under review” and the site vanished. I reported it to the FTC and pretty much gave up hope. Months later, someone who saw my complaint told me to email cyberfundsrecovery12@ gmail. Com. I was super skeptical (once bitten, twice shy), but they actually knew exactly how these scams work. It took about 3 months of paperwork, verifications, and bank back-and-forth, but I got a big chunk of my money back. Not all of it, but way more than I thought I’d ever see again. If you’ve been scammed, don’t give up — there are people who can help, but be careful who you trust.
