It's the middle of an ice storm. I can't get my vet on the phone and I can't drive in the ice. The vet was very caring and I hope and pray my baby makes it without damage to her liver.
My mother's stairway chair lift stopped working and was signaling that an obstruction to one or more of the sensors was tripped. I could find no item in the top or bottom track railing. I did not consider the sensor in the footrest assembly. Charles qued me in to this area where I discovered that a mounting screw was missing causing the pressure plate to be out of balance and activate one or more of the pressure sensors. Replacement of the absent screw rebalanced the plate and the chair is back in service to my 90 year old mother. Best $5 dollars I've spent in a long while.
