I was logging into Hoover.com/help and it went to JustAnswer. I thought it was part of Hoover. Answered all questions explaining what I needed and in order to continue it required a 5 dollar refundable fee. So I paid it. They didn't tell me it was 65 dollars a month. When they were unable to help me I went to PayPal account and asked them to refund my money. Did cancel from their website but no answer about my refund.

Supremely frustrating plus worried if a scam being asked for credit card.luckily I cancelled just after call since the $2 refundable charge wasvadded to $66 member fee.while on hold, i found a number to answer my reason for calling just answer. I will not attempt to get an answer from just answer. I 45 minutes I got 2 phones occupied- one on text hold. 1 on phone call FROM THEM.

Everything looked real — I even withdrew a small amount at first — then one day my account was “under review” and the site vanished. I reported it to the FTC and pretty much gave up hope. Months later, someone who saw my complaint told me to email cyberfundsrecovery12@ gmail. Com. I was super skeptical (once bitten, twice shy), but they actually knew exactly how these scams work. It took about 3 months of paperwork, verifications, and bank back-and-forth, but I got a big chunk of my money back. Not all of it, but way more than I thought I’d ever see again. If you’ve been scammed, don’t give up — there are people who can help, but be careful who you trust.
