Ordered breakfast to day from McDonald's when diver got to us he said the restaurant had not put on lids properly on drinks so food was ruined it was now 11 so breakfast finished! Driver said food was being re delivered but then got message saying food cancelled we contacted restaurant and just eat all they said is your get your Money back! Their was no apology no admission of mistake all they care about is money x won't use again hope others stop if getting bad service as if money all they care about may be only way to get them to look at the issues
The food never arrived, customer support was terrible, refund hasn't happened.
I made an order with a restaurant that uses Just Eat delivery and the food never arrived. The app just said the food was on its way. Trying to get support was atrocious. There is no obvious way to contact Just Eat. I eventually found a chat service who told me the food had been marked as delivered despite the app saying it was still on its way. They told me I'd get a refund and gave me an email to contact their support team. More than a week later and the refund hasn't arrived and the email address they have me doesn't actually exist. I have found an email form but I have had no response from that.
Before Just Eat brought in their own delivery service they were an alright company. Restaurants generally want your custom so will actually respond to you, Just Eat just don't care. I have had loads of issues with Just Eat's delivery service, this is the one that's stopped me using them.
I order food …. On my app show me delivered…. I don't see any driver…. Soo no money, no food…. Call the costumer service for the refund…. Still waiting after 3 weeks…. And 3 times send me mail in 3-5 days you will have in your account……. Soo I don't recommend……

Placed an offer through this app for subway, am a single mum and don't have much money, but as things are going with this covid I thought I would treat my kids, the other came wrong and very cold, and it was for only three, the order was over £27,,, was very upset for my kids as they where very much looking forward to it,, try phoning the shop they where nice but told me to go in app and get a refund,,,, wish was very hard to understand our ger the right answers, to be told we had to take pictures of the food, they would send us an email and talk it for there,,, still have not received an email and kids with no food, I normally don't complain about anything, but it was a treat for my kids, and the subway shop itself knows the order was wrong and where very nice,, just eat,, is the problem
My work offers a 7% discount on just eat where you pay using a gift card.
I load gift card on and pick my food from a restaurant and all good then at final screen it says restaurant is closed today. So I back click to choose a new restaurant and pick food and credits gone.
Long and short of it just eat say even though they can see voucher is loaded and unused the money is lost (not to them just to me) as I must complete action in one go even though restaurant was closed.
The very very worst company I have ever had the misfortune of using spoke to numerous people via email and web chat and call back from supervisor none cared, I will never use them again and I shall try my hardest to ask people to avoid too.
I'm so angry at these thieves. Going by reviews it would seem it's no isolated incident.

I would say order at your own risk, I have received all my orders I have placed, however I personally think it depends on your driver, if they are English, know where to go / are not thieves!
There are some thieving drivers, and there are some good ones, but do order at your own risk as not all of the drivers will deliver your order, heard bad things about it but so far not too bad, orders have been late but never not delivered.
Order no *******580 from McDonalds Ocean Park Portsmouth was marked delivered after I saw the driver on the map I followed in front of my house, but I never got it. Looked outside, but driver was gone. Did he eat it himself?
This is unacceptable.
Never had this happened before, but I will fight to get my money back as a matter of princible and I hope the driver gets fired.

I made an pre planned order for 24.09, money was taken but next day at the exact time it was to be delivered they cancelled the order and issued a refund. Now I am waiting for a refund (apparently up to 14 days) and I had to shell out a further £26.00 to order from Uber (which arrived by the way) exact same item. So why it was cancelled is beyond me. To top off my frustrations, there is no way to speak to someone or get an immediate response. I am livid and I wont be ordering with Just Eat again
If I could leave a zero score I would do. But unfortunately there is no Zero. I have been with JustEat for 4 years and never had a problem until now. My last order was delivered to the wrong address. When I spoke to Justeat they couldn't care less. They just said that I should have checked the order summery, even though I have been with them for them for 4 years and my address is still the same. They wouldn't offer me a refund or the food. So I just basically threw 30.00 down the drain. And they got 30.00 for nothing. Beware when using Justeat as the customer services are disgusting. I have now closed my account with them. And will pick it up myself in future. I will be leaving feedback all over the internet wherever I can.
They list incorrect information for every restaurant on their site (they have never bothered to check). Very importantly - this includes opening hours. Just Eat will send you an order confirmation to state that the restaurant has reviewed and accepted your order, then an estimated delivery time once a driver is allocated.
THIS IS ALL LIES WHEN THE RESTAURANT IS CLOSED, THERE ARE NO STAFF PRESENT. Therefore they leave children and entire families waiting by the door for imminent treats that will never arrive. Just Eat have done this to our family on 2 separate occasions (1st time they said "not our fault, blame the restaurant" and on the 2nd occasion their "CUSTOMER SERVICES" said "we don't understand what you're complaining about, what was the problem with your food"
Just DO NOT use this site, phone direct to ensure the place is open (they often offer better deals to those coming direct). DO NOT use Just Eat with their incorrect information and completely misleading "confirmations" to customers. Do not accept their lies.
P.S... Just to confirm, the 1st occasion was 18 months ago (before pandemic) and the 2nd occasion was May 2021 (post-lockdown) so they do not have Covid for an excuse.
Firstly they need to remove their automated customer service phone line. Its BULL@#$%.
SECONDLY they just have the worst customer service experience ever. You can't get past the automated service. WE NEED TO SPEAK TO REAL HUMANS robots can't sort out issues created by humans. I couldn't get through to speak about an order that was late by 1hour 45 mins. The takeaway decided to busy their phone lines and helpful JE were being just as hard to reach ridiculous service on both ends..
Just eat is bullying companies who is using their systems. It just unreal. When any restaurant are busy and cannot do certain orders. They rejects them all because there are WAY too many orders in that certain time-frame. What just eat does is they would send you text to threaten their companies they would reduce distance and time and some other things. Instead of solving it with their clients. They threaten them into submissions. Very very bad way to manage the companies who making them too much money. Companies has to pay around 30% of every order already and that's not including VAT.
I have used the app for a year and all ok until the day I didn't receive my order. I contacted them and they basically accused me of lying even though I have used them for ages. I never did get a refund for the food I never had and they couldn't have cared less.

Terrible customer service and business practices. Placed an order which took over 2 hours to arrive. Initially just eat agreed to give £5 credit. Fair enough I thought but when I ordered today no account credit. So contacted them and initially was offered the 5ver but then was told that they were unable to as the system wouldn't allow them to do this. Then they said I had cancelled the order. When I pulled them up on this and asked to speak to a supervisor they lest the call. It's a shame as I use them regularly but not anymore. Also food is always tepid! Use Uber eats or deliveroo instead.
The customer 48 hours automatic refund system is totally stupid! Hundred and Thousands restaurant will lot money because of your policy. You are not just eat. You are just chief. It's no fair to all restaurant owners, if we did see the email in 48 hours we will loss money our labour, cost and time are nothing! And you just eat! You loss nothing! You loss nothing and your policy help silly customer use you! It is not fair!
Never even arrived through Just Eat delivery and was sent back to the restaurant. When we rang to try and work out the issue, KFC were incredibly unhelpful and said it was our responsibility to sort out with Just Eat?! Never got the food and Just Eat Customer service said we have to wait 48 hours to find out whether we even get a refund. Shame on you. Utterly appalling.
Ordered some food from Frankie & Bennies on 19/12/20 at 17.20pm, my order status was supposed to be delivered for 17.45pm. However I received an email to say the food had been delivered... to where I do not know? It wasn't to my address at all. Just eat are refusing to give me a refund despite the phone calls and emails. I have CCTV footage that shows no delivery driver turned up at all and they aren't interested. The customer service is terrible and they're genuinely not bothered. I suppose the bad reviews also on here clearly explains. I WONT BE USING THEM AGAIN.
Just eat took my order on Friday 11th of December 2020. McDonald's sent my order out with the just eat driver and my order did not arrive. Just eat are refusing to refund me for food I did not get. They are thieves and a shambles of a company. I will not stop until everyone and anyone knows what they've done to me. As a matter of principle I'll also be taking legal action also. Going to local and national papers. Anyone who will listen. This company cannot keep steeling people's hard earned money. They are a disgrace
Answer: Don't use Just Eat. They don't give you credit when they tell you they have and steal your money.
Answer: Agree. They take your money and lie saying you didn't cancel your order within 5 mins so they've passed your money on to the restaurant even though they sent me an email confirming my order time and another email confirming the time it was cancelled 5 mins later but they said it was 10 mins later. The restaurant told me to cancel the order after a mix up and said they hadn't received my money from Just Eat. This after previously receiving a cheaper item in a seperate order when I paid for a more expensive item and they said they'd sent me a credit which I didn't receive. I will never ever use them again. I would rather starve myself to death!
