STOP USING THIS THIEVING, CRIMINAL OF A COMPANY! They're hands down the worst going, it may be a bother going to the places and getting your food yourself but its better then most of it turning up cold and them not even giving back a 5th of the money it cost, saying thats their cold food policy, when if you was to go to a restaurant or takeaway place yourself and given cold food they will either make a new lot for you or refund you, but these thieving pieces of s**t don't they give a good will gesture of a couple pound if that, i got £1.88 back for an order over £11. They are scum!. So the sooner everyone stops using them the better cause then they might f**c off and dissolve the thieving criminal of a company, as it is happening everywhere and all the time which is why their rating is 1 star out of 5 through most review sites

We ordered food through this app & when the food arrived around 35 mins late the order was flat cold & attitude from the driver who i made take the whole order back (total value £28.52).
I complained through the process on just eat and they see it fit to only refund £2.82 as a refund

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!

USE DELIVEROO OR UBER EATS AS THEY WILL NOT USE THESE RIP OFF TACTICS!

Wait 3 hours for food

What an absolute shambles this company is not only do the drives not have a clue but also the company, waiting 3 hours for food, rang up the restaurant to be told that the drivers (4) have declined to pick up my food what a joke. DONT RECOMMENDED NEVER USING YOU AGAIN,
ILL JUST STICK TO UBEREATS THANKS.

I ordered using the Just Eat app and spent almost £30 including delivery charges.

1. The food arrived over an hour late.
2. The food arrived cold to the touch.
3. The pancake rolls and prawn toast were soggy instead of crispy.
4. The rice, noodles and all the meat dishes were stone cold.
5. The food was Chinese and this type of food, when reheated, is no good. The food was thrown away.

I was given a half hearted apology from one of the agents. She explained a refund of £[9.63 would be processed. I queried if the [ that she accidently put was a 1 or a 2 and I would like this dealt with via a manager because I was already feeling distressed with the whole situation.

Another agent replied to my response stating the refund has been issued for £9.63 and this is in line with their "cold food" policy. I was not happy with this outcome so I sent another email explaining I want this to be exalated to a manager and I want a full refund due to the food being inedible.

Matthew Smith who claims to be a supervisor, says the decision was correct and if I reply again nothing will be done about it. I received this email just now.

I will be taking this further though. Your customer has told you the food was not fit for consumption and all I have been offered is a quarter of my money back? I spent £29.50 and only received £9.63 back!

I will be taking this further. This is unacceptable.

I ordered today groceries through just-eat.
On their website it kept saying that the driver is at store waiting to pick up my order. This was for ages!. No map opened to see if the driver was coming to me with my groceries. Over 1 hour passed and i refreshed the just-eat page and it stated DELIVERED although it was not delivered!
I called asda leyton and its automated message told me to seek help through the webste. I called just0eat and again an automated message stated to see help online. I emailed just eat and i got an automated email stating that upon reviewing my account and orders history they cannot issue me a refund! I went to live chat on just-eat and i was told the same automated message. I asked proof of delivery and courier/driver contact details and i was not given any.

In my order the driver has my mobile number AND detailed instructions how to find my flat. So, how incompetent someone must be to not deliver me my groceries?

So, i am in bed after a big surgery, i cant go out to shop, i am diabetic so i need to eat and i dont have my groceries!

Just-eat are thieves!

Deliver your order to random addresses then refuse to refund you. Piss poor drivers that seem unable to read a map. I look forward to hearing of their bankruptcy and collapse some day. $#*! just eat.

Pubic hair in my food

Refusing full refund for bloody disgusting delivery.
Pubic hair on my food! And only refunded for one item out of whole delivery.
Imagine yourself finding it and imagine the others...
Would be the othe food affected?

Scam
August 29, 2022

On 29. 8. 22 ordered groceries via Just Eat via Asda. Driver gave me bag and noticed items were missing. Gave her bag back. Wanted to make a waffle with treats pudding and could not do that with items missing. Requested a refund of £16.12 and never got refund. Drivers steal food and company steal your money. Better off getting shopping yourself and picking up takeaway yourself. Avoid this company at all costs.

Really gone downhill

Used to be able to chat or call someone but now any issues you are basically on your own. Food didn't turn up and because we couldn't get hold of restaurant or just eat, managed to cancel order as we were completely at our wits end as no one would answer calls and they have charged us despite us never getting food! Horrendous customer service basically said tough

Drivers steal the food or deliver to wrong house Justidiots don't offer food to be re sent just refund which is no good when you've got hungry children and not enough to re buy until you get the refund 5-7 days great eh, don't bother with live chat you may as well be talking to a robot they don't care your kids are hungry just sorry Yh well it's not good enough Never again will I use Justidiots Deliveroo and Uber eats are 100% better no food thefts and they actually get your address correct as when I had to re order via Uber they got it here in fast time with no issues

Since writing my first review about Just Eat, they have become even worse. First, they now block connections from my VPN. Okay, so they're telling me they don't need my business? Anyone with common sense uses a VPN these days. Blocking access when using a VPN is enough for me to delete my account, which I just finished doing. Second, it's 10pm on a Saturday night and 90% of the restaurants have stopped taking orders. 10 pm on a SATURDAY! What is the point? I can't say anything bad about the drivers, because none of this is their fault. They've always delivered on time and they work hard. Avoid this place. I have friends who paid for orders that never arrived, and Just Eat refused to give a refund. Unfortunately, I can't recommend an alternative. Deliveroo is just as bad. Go and collect your food in person... problem solved.

I've ordered food using Just Eat several times. There hasn't been any real issues with the service itself, but the lack of any real customer service department makes me go elsewhere. I'm all about customer service. If you want my business, then you better have someone on hand if I have a problem or a question. This chat online rubbish doesn't suffice.
I've been reading about how people get shoddy orders or they order a gift card and never receive it, then Just Eat refuses to refund their money. The solution is simple. Use PayPal to pay. If something isn't right, open a case with PayPal and you'll get your money back. Just be sure to document everything. Example, take a pic of the bad food or mishandled delivery. Send screenshots of replies from the company. Upload all of this to PayPal if you have to open a case and you'll get your refund. Works 99% of the time.
UPDATE: I have a friend that works fro Domino's pizza. Just Eat offers Domino's Pizza in some areas, but here's the catch... They charge you 20% more in most cases for the same pizza you can order directly from Domino's directly. Just Eat doesn't do anything but stand as a go-between from you and Domino's. Just Eat takes your money, then Domino's takes the order and delivers the food to you. So why use Just Eat? Cut them out and you save their 20% mark up AND the additional delivery charge they add, when they aren't even delivering the food! Imagine, you are paying £1.50 each for Domino's chocolate chip cookies... Is there a biscuit anywhere worth £1.50 each?

Come on Just Eat, do better! I felt so scammed when only a drink arrived and had to fight for a refund which I still haven't got! I already paid £8.29 and they want a picture of the food! It did not arrive…….

Avoid avoid avoid! Scam scam scam! I wonder how the restaurant even use this $#*!ttt company. They are theft! Take the money from your account and do not even deliver the food! Steal it for their self! I called the restaurants too but they said the driver left about 25mins ago which even on the app was showing but didn't deliver the food and send notifications of delivered. NOT ONLY THIS they also charge you next day for noting. If you don't check your account they keep charging you. Plzzzzz avoid them! THEY DID THIS TO ME BEFORE TOO BUT I was like it's human error it's fine. But they have done it soo many times now so NO human error they are SCAM and steal your money purposely.

AWFUL AWFUL COMPANY
THEIR DRIVER HIT MY CAR, REFUSED TO GIVE DETAILS. HAVE PHOTOS AND INDEPENDENT WITNESS. MANAGER NEVER CALLS BACK, CAN'T SPEAK TO ANYONE. LIVE CHAT IS A WASTE OF TIME. IF THEIR DRIVER COLLIDES INTO YOU, CALL POLICE AS THEY DON'T GIVE DETAILS. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

We just received an order where almost half the items were not what we ordered! We were refused a refund, seemingly because we have had refunds in the past. We have sent evidence each time so it is clearly not that we are scamming them but the restaurants keep getting it wrong. Absolutely appalling customer service! Only order from them if you don't care what you get to eat because they won't be refunding you for the restaurant's mistakes!

Worst excuse for a service I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. Just Eat messes up orders all the time, onky way to make a complaint is via Chat IF YOU CAN GET ON THERE and then they just escalate it and tell you that you will receive your requested call back which NEVER comes so you have to go through the WHOLE THING again to complain about that, then they mess up AGAIN the next time whilst your case is still unresolved from previously. Ask for a manager to call you immediately and they just make up lame excuses about policy and procedure. It's an absolute shambles and a mess, shocking!

I have sent my new menu to be updated waited SIX weeks still not updated a supervisor was supposed to call me back regarding this issue that never happened it's a joke disgusting customer service totally fed up with them area manager was not answering phone calls pathetic
