My husband and I ordered a mighty bucket for 1; popcorn chicken; a couple of pieces of regular chicken; fries and 2 cans of Fanta - all ordered via Just Eat!
To start with, the chicken in the mighty bucket was cold, and the coating was thick and greasy - same for the 4 pieces of regular chicken ordered for our 2 dogs - they wouldn't even touch it - wise pups!
My popcorn chicken was cold, dry and hard to digest, which gave me a dodgy gut for about an hour, but then if chicken or eggs are not fresh, they can have that effect on me!
The fries, if you can call them fries, were cold, soggy and hard inside, as if they were made with inferior potatoes!
To add to this horrible food, I ordered 2 cans of Fanta (they didn't even have any coke), but received only 1 can!
I reported this pathetic food to KFC's head office in Belfast, but was told to report my complaint to Just Eat!
When I got onto Just Eat's chat service to make my complaint, and I happened to mention I had had a dodgy tummy after eating some of the popcorn chicken,they fobbed me off by telling I should contact my local health authority about this, and they closed the chat down very ignorantly - passing me on with a load of BS, and hoping I would go away!
If Just Eat think I will let this drop, they are wrongly mistaken - I am not paying over £30 for unpalatable food, and a pathetic customer service from Just Eat!
The KFC in Carrickfergus may have got a facelift, but they would've been better spending their money on quality food and teaching their staff how to prepare it to a decent standard, instead of charging customers for substandard crap that my dogs wouldn't even eat!
Plus, it wouldn't hurt Just Eat to have a responsive customer service team, that customers can talk to physically on the phone, instead of ignorant chat bots who fob customers off with lame excuses in the hope they give up trying to get their money back!

This is a company that have become so big they've given up any personal service and it's so obvious from my own personal experiences and general reviews online, I really hope they crash and burn because they've f**ked over so many people in their quest to make money:-(

Biggest rip off merchants. They do not refund you. I contacted them about the food I received I even sent them a pic and still refused to give me a refund. The company needs to be investigated they shouldn't be allowed to rip people off. They said their restaurants cook in different ways! Absoloute joke!

I ordered a delivery from KFC on just eat and when I got the order it wasn't my order, was someone else's order with their name on and the last 4 digits of their card number. Means someone got my 28.15 order and I got their 15.10 order with things I didn't like. Couldn't contact the restaurant and so put in an issue with just eat. Asked for photo proof which I provided with receipt. Got back to me nearly 2 days later saying I would get a refund of 24.44 not the amount I paid. Its wrong. Dont use this service

Someone stole my order

Ordered takeaway via Just Eat app. Usually have a positive experience, but recently found out my order was stolen by a dishonest neighbour. I live in a block of flats. Despite giving detailed instructions. I believe the deliver person may have either eaten it or delivered to wrong address by mistake. I was really upset because was feeling down in the dumps and just wanted to treat myself.

I went through all the help options and explained in the form I had not received my order. Customer service was brilliant I had an instant reply and was refunded straight away. Within the next day too!. So that cheered me up.

Sadly it's still very easy for people to steal and I think just eat should provide a specific code for customers to type that they received order. And they will only get the code if received order. And the people delivering should be more switched on, maybe ask the persons ID or something and type in a specific code to prove they delivered the order.

Offered £4.73 credit on £33 order that never got eaten. As if the £4.73 credit was okay. Do they really think i would order again from them. Rather go hungry.

Just cheat

Debited my account. Food did not arrive. Just eat admitted this after speaking to the restaurant and promised refund. Still nothing 18 days later. They've discontinued there phone lines I've spoken to 53 chat advisors as soon as you state facts they get nasty or end the chat and hide behind computers as you cant ring them.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE NEVER ORDER VIA JUST EAT AS ISSUES CAN'T BE SOLVED I CAN'T GET A REFUND OF THESE SCAMMERS AND WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAINL

Joke of a company

What a rip off, food delivered freezing cold without use of a thermal bag. Contact just eat. "OK we will refund you £6" of my £30 order that is freezing cold to the point of being inedible and over an hour late.
Emailed to say this is unacceptable to receive a patronising email from the "just eat teamleader" fiona.
Why should I be out of pocket for the take outs mistakes? I even offered for them to come and collect their food. May aswell fo thrown the money in the bin.

£6 account credit. I didn't even pay with account credit, it's just a ploy to get you to reorder and spend more of your money on sub par ice cold food.

If I could give no stars I would! Ordered 3 meals 16/01/23 all 3 arrived stone cold,chips were not cooked properly. All of it was Inedible! I was refunded £5.09 as credit to my account which is less than the cost of 1 meal.
You wouldn't go in to a shop buy a top with a hole in and get less back than what you paid. I'm not sure how they get away with it,it's robbery! You pay for there mistakes!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! UBER EATS on the other hand I've never nice had an issue with! Will never use just eat again. The worst customer service I have ever come across.

Ordered great burgers from our local burger shop, which is 3 minutes drive away. Polite delivery service.

The burgers are the best, but better hot, than luke warm which is what we received

Arrived 20 minutes after order was due for delivery. Received message saying ready at 1820, delivered at 1837, for a journey by car of 3 minutes.

Sick of this co

Are you as sick as I am of food that is cold late or missing or just never turns up and then just eats non existient customer service refuse refunds? Today again a no show and they have refused a refund as they claim the 'journey' was completed. I have CCTV and these muppets didn't deliver. When is Just eat going to just die? I only ordered because I was busy and against my better judgement... if you're greggs surely the damage they cause to your brand is not worth the hassle?

Just eat while I am on I reported to you that your drivers collect multiple orders from Mc Donalds and hence why they are always cold. They are still doing it, I saw someone collect 4 the other day 2 from uber and 2 from JE.

It's tss as Ken literally 13 emails noss was for them to even find the order! Totally useless customer services, one disconnected me whee Ed n I asked to speak to a supervisor!
Don't even bother!

Shocking and useless customer service!

An absolute joke of a company, ordered food for my son. The food was left on the door step in the pouring rain, so was cold and wet because he didn't even knock on the door, he just drove off. But to top this off, he also left it at our neighbours house, so wasn't even to the right address, luckily wenhave honest neighbours! The food ended up being thrown away, and when I complained to Just Eat, all they could do was £2.06 credit to my account, they said repeated contact would make no difference and this was all they would offer! Will never use this useless, disorganised company again. When they seem to have 1.1 everywhere, how have Trading Standards not stepped in to close this site down? So many issues everytime and just getting worse.

I swear to God in heaven I said to myself I don't want it to get to these. You know out of all vendors JUSTEAT is the worst, they are fulI of $#*! and horrific manners, I don't know why they treat people like these.it's not the first time justeat will refuse to refund me what some restaurant refuse to deliver i mean its just the right thing to do. I ordered McDonald's from that God forsaken Charlton branch, they got all my order wrong, not even one is right and I spent £55 including delivery, am crying right now. I contacted them and they ask for photograph am like for what?, why don't you investigate the driver am sure you guys are in contact with eachother even thought we can't call you. I swear as I cry my eyes out because am hurt, My God in heaven Will deal with them as they have cheated me off my money and food, your company will be cheated, thieves will Rob them, they will fall into wrong hands and all of them working behind will never have a good 2023 and years to come, if they refuse to refund my money and turn good. Jesus will forsake them by God's grace they will be forever closed down and no one will ever hear of them ever again. IJN Amen.

You pay for their mistakes

We ordered 3 of an item from asda but only 2 were delivered. On top of that the person who delivered it, knocked on the door and then left before we could answer. We therefore could not check the order. When we reported to just eat we got our money back for the item but were out of pocket on the delivery, service and bag fee. When we complained they said they do not refund delivery, service or bag charges. So basically, you have to pay for their mistakes!

WASTE OF TIME!
Ordered, and an hour late. Spoke to food supplier and had food waiting for half hour and unable to get driver to deliver - WHAT A JOKE OF A SERVICE (and they want to charge for it?)
