I recently ordered food with just eat, the food was stone cold so i sent it back requested a refund and got awarded £8:84 when the meal cost £20 plus after several emails they told me the award was correct according to company policy, so basically if your meal is rubish and you send it back you can be grateful to receive less than half of the cost back an even that is placed in your account, which obviously wont ever be used because i would rather starve than use this company again
I ordered a chicken kebab and received lamb kebab. I tried to get a refund and they replied to me that they can't do the refund and that it's actually chicken but different recipe. So basically they said I'm stupid and don't know how chicken looks and tastes like.
Ordered McDonald's breakfast and the driver turned up late. With two bags dripping in coffee with the bottom falling out. My food was inedible but according to These imbeciles it was still edible drenched in coffee. No refund no nothing. This has to be one of the worst companies ever
It's a good thing I don't order on their app. This is what I saw when I called into a busy pizza restaurant. Do 'Just Eat' EVER check on hygiene standards? The smell of the bag was incredibly greasy and horrendous! I hope they don't use the same one for vegetarians food too! Please note, I would happily have added the requested proof of purchase, if I'd have purchased from just eat. As you can see from my review, though, I was buying in person and the dirty bag was on the counter awaiting collection from a courier. It WAS collected, and filled with a customers order, a few minutes after I took the photo.

Honestly spent so much money ordering food on here over the years… yet the very few times when you genuinely require further help or compensation from a restaurant, except for generic replies, there's no one to help.
Always cold.missing items.always putting meat in when adked not to as vegetarian.they don't care and don't admit when wrong so never get a refund...

I've used this for years. Regularly odd items are missing but I'm missing an entire £80 co-op order and being refused a refund because they can track the driver to driving to my house but yet can't provide proof that it was handed over. And because I've requested a refund for odd items previously that had been missing off various orders that makes it OK that I don't get my £80 back?!
Speaking as a business, it's the most ridiculous online ordering system I've ever seen in my life. You can't even add your own menu, you send an excel list, they make people with very bad English as administrators in India, you try to add products with them, you enter their system as if it was 2013, not 2023. It is not a suitable system, while its competitors are very high quality, their system is like a potato. I don't understand why you are trying to add restaurant or supermarket to your system if your system is not ready. My score is 0. Your management style is 0. The English accent or understanding of your customer representatives is 0. I will never use them again, neither as a customer nor as a business. I will cancel from our 10 branches.
After a system error, I have been left without my order, got a confirmation such as my refund on the way….6 da later still no money, and they literally said they not even going to refund my money back… how is that?
Placed order this evening. It never arrived. After contacting customer service with screen shots of order page showing item clearly hadn't arrived - courier hadn't even picked it up. Miraculously it had suddenly arrived

Don't trust them with your money. It's not worth the hassle dealing with them when your orders go missing. Additionally they're particularly bad at refunding after cancellations.

The worst company ever. Absolute scammers. They bring the order the next day AFTER THE ORDER, when it is no longer needed and refuse to return the money. All complaints are answered that the decision cannot be changed. Drivers drive a ten-minute journey for 5 hours. Fraudsters! People, please use other apps!
This company robs ypu blind takes your money then doesn't deliver food then won't refund imagine I had a cheeseburger with no meat they wouldn't refund it
It shouldn't exist in uk. Food doesn't arrive, but the driver says it does and no refund from the customer service
Delivery driver opened up the bag, the can of coke rolls out explodes all over my carpet walls and door. Carpet is ruined. Just eat offered £2.50 for the can of coke. I get it was an accident but why should I have to suffer the consequences as I live in a rented property
This is very frustrating and inconveniencing due to just eats inability to deliver my food.Infact the restaurant had the food ready but no just eat drivers after ordering the food at 9:30 still no drivers till 11:30 at night and my kids were hungry with no dinner. I had to call the restaurant multiple times and still no drivers which has caused me great inconvenience as I had to leave my kids at my mothers house and drag myself out in the middle of the night and drive to the restaurant myself and disturbing my kids and my mother so late at night. This terrible inconvenience caused as this has been happening very frequently with just eat and creating lots of problems.Instead of having food delivered to the door it is more of an issue and harrowing to order on your website as there is no certainty in your commitment towards customer service.The worst customer service ever with automated replies on the website and an email service that replies to you within days...ridiculous,what am i supposed to do what for my answer to ny order for days.
DO NOT USE. THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT DONT DELIVER THE FOOD. Had to drive to restaurant myself to collect the correct order as Just Eat are useless

I'm sorry you weren't happy with the food in your recent order.
All of our Restaurant Partners have their own recipes and cook in an individual style, so the taste, smell and portion size of a dish can vary depending on where you order it. For this reason, I'm not able to offer you any refund or compensation on this occasion.
Extremely poor service don't use. Ordered a meal it never came.just eat Asked to take a photo of meal as it didn't come I couldn't because I never received it. Refund declined. Absolute disgrace

My food order was delivered late and not just by 5 minutes but over half hour and food was completely cold and uneatable.
I called customer service but they don't have customer service calls but only via online so I emailed them few times, the agent came back saying they can only refund £7.08 not the full amount of £14.65, therefore I emailed again and again and just eat wrote:
While I'm not able to disclose our internal policies, I can confirm that your credit is in line with our cold food policy, and it's not possible to offer you any further compensation.
So just eat just ignored the late arrival of the food completely or they don't understand the English language? If the food wasn't delivered late than the food wouldn't be cold common sense I thought right.
Answer: Don't use Just Eat. They don't give you credit when they tell you they have and steal your money.
Answer: Agree. They take your money and lie saying you didn't cancel your order within 5 mins so they've passed your money on to the restaurant even though they sent me an email confirming my order time and another email confirming the time it was cancelled 5 mins later but they said it was 10 mins later. The restaurant told me to cancel the order after a mix up and said they hadn't received my money from Just Eat. This after previously receiving a cheaper item in a seperate order when I paid for a more expensive item and they said they'd sent me a credit which I didn't receive. I will never ever use them again. I would rather starve myself to death!
