I just ordered a $138 necklace and paid extra for 2-4 day shipping, still haven't received product and is has been over 10 days. Worse, I emailed them to see if the item had shipped or any type of status and no response. One thing I do know is they took my money right away. This is ridiculous I at least deserve a response about what is going on with the transaction, I have no clue of anything right now. Never doing business with this site again, that's for sure.
I am from the Netherlands and bought Ahava products from this shop. The order arrived quickly, sooner than I expected. Also the information given during the ordering process was very clear. I would definitely order again from this webshop!
I was recommended this website by a friend who shops there frequently and has always been satisfied with her orders.
I got a necklace from them first time around. It was gorgeous, and I was really happy with it, but after a number of wears, the chain broke. (I can sometimes be hard on my jewelry, but still, it was new-ish, so I was rather disappointed.) I contacted them and they replaced it with a new and stronger chain, no charge and no hassle. It took a couple of weeks with shipping, but that wasn't a big deal. I've been wearing the necklace ever since with no problems. I was also impressed with their customer service, and that means a lot to me - you could tell they want to make good with their customers when things go wrong.
Since then, I've shopped there several times with no problems. I'd recommend this sight hands down.
Always new stuff, always nice, always caring.
I shop from them since 2012 and they deserve my honest good words - keep up the good job!
I've placed my order on 10/10/2012. Have not seen it yet, it's been almost a month. Paid with pay pal and the website is showing that there is still money due even though they said that they shipped the item and provided me with the tracking number which is not very informative, just tells me that some item left Israel on 10/28/2012! THIS IS A TRAP! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!
I have ordered a bracellet, but i got it after 1 month, instead of 7-14 days, and the quality is very very poor, it doesn't look like in the picture at all and has some defects... I intend to return it back, i hope that i'll get my money back.
I ordered quite a few items in the spring of 2010, including my favorite item in my order, a beautiful Esther Shahaf necklace, on which the enamel began to wear off after several months, even though I had taken it off every day before going to bed and never worn it in the shower. My husband was understandably annoyed, as was I, but when I sent an email to the judaica webstore customer service explaining the situation, and asking them if anyone else had, to their knowledge, ever experienced this, since so many different styles of the Shahaf necklaces are enameled, I got no response. I explained in the email that I was even willing to buy a 2nd necklace (as in not even try to make an exchange! Because I thought that the necklaces were so pretty) but I was trying to figure out if in case the exact same thing would happen again, could I then ask for an exchange/return. I re-sent the email just in case it had gotten lost in cyberspace, but, not to my surprise, unfortunately, still no response. Not even the common courtesy of an email back to me saying anything at all. I will probably try one more time to send an email, but with all the stores available to buy beautiful judaica made in Israel, I certainly will not be buying anything from this store again. I will definitely also NOT recommend this store to anybody! It also may or may not have anything to do with courtesy, or fraudulence, maybe bad website-planning, but after I placed my order I was unable to track it in any way, in fact, I could not even find a way in to the website to enter my order # to show that I had made this purchase at all! I feel lucky that I printed out a receipt initially, because it was the only tangible communication I had! Bad service all around---be forewarned!
I would not buy anything from this store. I ordered a menorah (around $179) in March 2010 as a gift. It arrived in Australia in May and the box was damaged and broken, with the menorah sticking out. I took photo's before opening the box because I suspected the poor packaging had risked the safety of the menorah - which was confirmed once unpacked. It was not just bent but the paint had been scraped off. I spoke to Carolin customer service who told me to send it back via airmail and that once she received it she would refund me the postage and send me the new menorah. I did this, and they resent (it took some time while they waited to receive the faulty one) me a menorah which was also damaged - this time a manufacturing fault - where the varnish had not dried properly and had large drips all over. Again I sent Carol pictures and she told me to post it back. I said she hadn't refunded me for the first postage ($68) and she said she would refund me both amounts on receipt of the second menorah. By now i didn't argue because my friend's bat-mitzvah present was months late and I just wanted it to be done quickly. Carol told me she would send the menorah immediately this time, and not wait to receive the faulty one back. She also said because the airmail was so expensive I should send it back by sea and she would refund me for all postage ($113) once it had arrived. Well it is now a year and several emails and calls (at my cost) to Israel have been ignored. Last I heard in January that Carol was still looking into it. It is now June. I sent a letter to customer service a week ago which has gone ignored. Quite frankly I am disgusted. Firstly they trusted me to send the faulty goods back and I trusted them to refund the postage. Besides bad service, inconvenience of giving a very belated gift, I have had to chase up money owed - there has been no effort to ensure I am a happy lifelong customer. I am now going to share this story online with as many people as I can.
Ordering on site was effortless. But they say shipping US is 7-14 days. It took almost a full month to receive items. My order status on their site still shows "in process" - so that's not very useful. They charged my card when order was placed, not when they shipped.
They didn't respond to my first email but then did answer my second query. Communication is poor but value is good.
I ordered a neckless from them on September 16, Paid for it online, and did not receive it as of November 12. I was told it has been shipped from Israel and received by the U.S. Post Office on September 28. I was given a tracking number to track the item. USPS says, the tracking number does not exist. I have sent numerous e-mails to judaicawebstore inquiring about the status of this shipment. Never received an answer.
Answer: It is awful! Stay away. I might as well have taken a $100 bill & thrown it in the garbage.

Answer: Doubtful. Their shipping is the reason for most of their bad reviews, it takes a LONG time for anything to arrive.
Answer: They lie ALL the time on shipping. Truly- until they get this together and get some integrity, this company should go out of business.
