The sockets are a perfect fit for the dash plate. If someone could find or fabricate the tool to "swedge" the flange, it would definitely help the installation, especially for those wanting to keep that stock look, even though you don't see that once installed.
My purchase from J&P was on the whole, a pleasant experience. While I cannot sing hosannas and proclaim this to be a miraculous gift to the motorcycle community, this purchase was casually uneventful and entirely devoid of drama.
I sought the item i wanted, located said part at an acceptable price, tendered the specified amount, and within a few days, said item arrived in my mailbox.
In a short amount of time, I hope to receive the remaining items I am in need of, and can complete my project. Preferably with a continued lack of drama, but this remains to be seen.
