I sought a violin shoulder rest for a small size and specific brand (based on our teacher's recommendation), and I couldn't find it on other major string supply sites at all. A major online retailer I tried had it for three times as much (!). This came quickly, and the quality is as high as we expected based on the teacher's suggestion.

Johnson Strings carries a wider variety of strings and accessories than what I can find locally. It is a great resource, plus the prices are reasonable and the service is quick.

I rely on just a few on-line sources for sheet music and violin/viola supplies. Items arrive on-time, usually a bit earlier; are in good shape; and I know if I have problems, I can easily return or exchange something.

I have found JohnsonString to be a reputable company for my needs as a cello teacher. My most recent purchase was a cello stand and the cello fits well and I love having a spot for my bow as well. Their associates helped me identify the stand that met my needs. Many thanks.

Is working really good, thanks, Johnson's String. I have a question, when do I have to change the crystal, I know I have to do it every year but where do I get the crystal.

Service is great, sale price good. Thank you. I only wish the case would stay open when I lift the lid. Its a little awkward to get the violin, then the lid shuts and now I have the violin in hand and need to reopen the case to get the bow, etc. Im hoping it will loosen up with a little use.

I had just purchased a new Violin directly from the maker and wanted to change to better string (Peter Infeld) and a different chin rest (Kaufman style). Johnson Stings was one stop shopping with quality items at affordable prices.

I got an email about the order being out of stock and we worked together to find a replacement. Excellent service.

Everything arrived sooner than expected and in perfect condition. We ordered a large item in addition to violin strings, and they all came together in the same box. Fortunately, the packer had the foresight to place the strings in their own small box inside the larger box so we wouldn't miss them among the packing peanuts, which was much appreciated.
