Good to know a tool like this to me with my resume.
Hi Cheryl, thanks for the awesome feedback! Have a wonderful day!
Very helpful solution for improving your resume and adapt to job offer or make an assessment of your profile's alignment.
Thank you for the feedback, Lu!
Super efficient and helpful. It works! It helps improve and align cv with job offer requirements, easy to use.
Nice software. It helped me get a first-hand idea of how to build a resume,
Thanks for the feedback, Jesse!
The tool is helpful, but it's pointless to rate people's resumes based on if they included every single "keyword" from the job description. I'm getting a 30-38% rating because there are nearly 50 "keywords" that I'm missing on my resume. 95% of them aren't even keywords (they are benefits offered by the company), and 50 is a ridiculous number to expect someone to add to their resume.
I have had problems thus far with pretty much everything to do with the site. I was assigned to use Jobscan to review my resume for my class but it refuses to recognize that I am with my university, attempting to get me to pay. However, even when I tried to pay just to be able to do the assignment, I was unable to do that too. Finally, I got registered under my university and only let me work under the business school (I'm in liberal arts), so it would not review my resume. I said it ran into an issue for one of a few reasons. If one of those reasons is not something to do with my resume (which it wasn't), then I needed to contact you. None of my classmates have had this issue except one so I'm very disappointed in navigating this site.
The number of free scans are not sufficient to explore what is offered by Jobscan. The payment is too high for someone looking for employment.

After a few scans, I realized the benefits of the tool. I couldn't determine the important keywords for the postings with my human eyes. At first, it was lengthy, discouraging and time-consuming spending hours updating my resume to each job posting, but I decided to trust the Jobscan system. EVERY resume (3) that I sent resulted in an interview request, and I secured a position right away within one week of sending resumes. But Jobscan is not all; this is what I learned:
- I spent 2 weeks full-time learning and preparing before sending resumes
- Research how to write a resume how to beat the ATS systems.
- Write accomplishments
- Write 15-20 STAR or SOAR stories related to your experience
- Research interview questions and relate your accomplishment stories to them
- Update LinkedIn
- I also use Grammarly to make sure my grammar is perfect
Thank you, Jobscan! I learned a lot about keywords, and the system is well worth the money!
Thanks, Caroline, for your excellent feedback! Congratulations on your new job!
I first learned about Job Scan recently which is a huge shame. I've sent dozens of CVs and it makes sense why I never got responses. JS has helped me improve my CV and really think about the position I am applying for more in depth. It has also helped me not send and obsess over applying to so many jobs. It was easy to use, and made me eager to improve my CV with every upload.
Thanks for the review, Alma! We are happy to be of help!
Just exploring the website. So far I am impressed with what it does
Awesome! Thanks, Mashud!
I've tried many times to get you to STOP BILLING MY CARD! For some strange reason you customer support link DOES NOT WORK. If you do not respond ASAP. I will report this charge as a fraud to my bank.

Thanks, Tiffany, for your great feedback!
Answer: Hi Tanisha! Jobscan recommends at least 80% for ATS to make your resume visible to the hiring manager. To boost your match rate, take a look at the missing skill and keywords (the ones denoted as red X) and see which ones are relevant to include in your resume. Focusing on including missing keywords that appear more frequently in the Hard Skills section will quickly boost your match rate. Here's a video tutorial that helps with getting your rate up - https://www.jobscan.co/video-resume-match-report. I hope this helps. Please reach out to [email protected] if you have questions as you go along. Thanks!
