Good - I need to put some more time into the site, but first impressions were great!
After an upload and scan, your product should propose ways to resolve any problems found in the resume by providing a bulleted list of clickable content options to insert preferred content and resolve each problem. If a resume doesn't include a certain term used in the job description, propose several options using that term from which the user/subscriber may click, insert, and move on to the next problem in the resume.
Explanations of what is wrong on your resume are not in depth
The option for free was in gray, so I couldnt' select it.
Easy to use. Working as described. I've done 2 scans for different jobs for resume and cover letter. It's only been a day so I haven't received any responses yet. Fingers crossed.
Thanks, Elaine!
Helpful for knowing what to add to resume to get viewed by recruiters. Could make changes and rescan multiple times to get best results with premium account, well worth the money!
Thanks, Paula!
Results with the same CV and job posting change in time without reasons, various tag are completely irrelevant, 2 scans a month are useless
Needed this to change careers, helps me narrow it down to tailor my resume to the jobs I want to be considered for
Awesome! Thanks, Justin!
Hi Ashik,
We appreciate your feedback. Have a great weekend!
This is premature. I don't know if it'll help me get a job until I hear back from the employers.
Seems counter-intuitive in that you recommend matching terminology in job ads, then call that same terminology "negative". Also, it keeps telling me that my name, email and phone number are not in my resume when they are. I'm still figuring things out, though. Hopefully it'll get better.
Scanning comparison is good, but doesn't pick up some of my key details even though I used their format
We placed a candidate with the job description which was attached on the basis of his resume, but when I scanned it, it just showed a 20% match.
Still figuring out how to best use the site, but overall I'm enjoying the ease of use and tutorials so far!
Awesome! Thanks, Amanda!
This is giving a low rating if all areas of an or, or, or statement are not met, such as required in this software, or other case management softwares. I have the desired software experience, but was dinged because I did not have the words case management. Saving words on this resume is extremely important. Did the same for education. Also did the same when I was giving supporting material dates. Right now, also, because of security issues with scans and the question of security of ATS software, it is not recommended that full addresses are put on resumes.
I entered my linkedin profile and three job descriptions - then the only feedback I could see was for the stats - everything else was blurred out unless I joined with a paid subscription. What is the use of a free subscription if no insight at all is provided?
The trial of the LinkedIn profile scan was very convincing - I can't wait to finish it, and then dive in on my resume.
Thanks, Kevin!
Although you subscribe for free Premium package, you hardly can use all features especially LinkedIn Optimisation. The summary is so short that it is not at all useful. The chat window only appeared once and I can't go back or seem to find it. How can someone decide on this trial to go for $90 package is beyond me
Answer: Hi Tanisha! Jobscan recommends at least 80% for ATS to make your resume visible to the hiring manager. To boost your match rate, take a look at the missing skill and keywords (the ones denoted as red X) and see which ones are relevant to include in your resume. Focusing on including missing keywords that appear more frequently in the Hard Skills section will quickly boost your match rate. Here's a video tutorial that helps with getting your rate up - https://www.jobscan.co/video-resume-match-report. I hope this helps. Please reach out to [email protected] if you have questions as you go along. Thanks!
