Has anyone with an issue had a successful return and reimbursement? I received a horribly made dress that is unwearable. I'm now in my third "inquiry" to request a return form. No phone number on the website? No direct way to contact without submitting an inquiry that will supposedly be answered in 24-hours? This website is a SCAM. I've never posted a customer review in my life but this "return" process is beyond ridiculous. Had I done some research and read a review like this I would not have placed an order.
DO NOT SHOP HERE. I thought i had found the perfect outfit for my sons wedding. I paid £18 for delivery of the dress, then before it got to me i got a call to say it had been stopped by customs an di needed to pay another £26 before they would release it.
The dress eventually came and was nothing like the dress i ordered, it was very very poor quality, and it was falling apart at the seams.
I contacted the site, they offered me 30% refund, they didnt send any returns details, so was unable to return it.
I eventually got 40% refund which just about covered the postage, but i was still over a £100 out of pocket.
Would advise you not to buy from this company, they are corrupt!

I am really sure that most of the positive Mails for this company are insinuated. Judging by the Quality of the dress we received, positive reviews are virtually impossible...
OK, you can argue that the prices are very reasonable, and that you can not expect to much for this money, But believe me, from experience, It's not worth half the price. Loose stitches, Wrong cub size and to low. No figure what so ever. Poor quality fabric. Really, unbelievable considering the website."
After seeing a gorgeous dress i ordered it with a proffesional dressmaker to do the measurements. When it arrived it looked nothing like the picture and was massive i am so disappointed what a complete waste of money. Do not order anything as you wont get your money refunded. A very sad customer.
Do not waste your time or money on ordering from this site! Although the custom made or tailored option does seem genius and a time saver, it isn't. I received my dress and if there wasnt a built in bra, it wouldn't stay up! When I complained, I was asked to send photos, which I promptly did, I was still told I was wrong. I then sent a photo with my bust measurement and was told they are professional tailors - apparently customer service includes telling the customer they are wrong even when provided with proof. I've been offered 15% back (not even the custom tailor fee...) And told that any professional tailor should be able the make the corrections for that amount, absolutely not. I am not only extremely disappointed with the product but am disgusted with the service and will continue to fight until I consider the solution to be fair. Although this seems like an easy and great way to get a dress, it is not worth the stress! AVOID!

I was so pleased with my purchase from JJsHouse, I ordered a wedding dress and was very sceptical about ordering over the internet but I am so happy with my dress. I got it custom made and it fits perfectly. I would maybe suggest ordering the length a little longer than your height and would order on the larger side just so you have room for alterations if need be, although I don't need to make any alterations on mine. The service was great, the dress arrived in just over a week to my New Zealand address. I am now going to look into getting bridesmaids dresses from JJsHouse too :)
My daughter ordered a prom dress from this company. We had her measured and ordrered the dress from this site. The dress arrived and the problems began from there. The quality of the dress was not as described, which we would have dealt with BUT the sizing problem could not be dealt with. The dress was way, way too big! We contacted the company in order to return the dress - they say they have a return policy THEY LIE! We went back and forth with email and sent pictures and the best they wanted to do was to give us $65 to pay for additional alterations. We had no time take advantage of the offer - we had to buy another dress. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY - DO NOT USE THEM! TOTAL SCAM!
I carefully measured for ordering a standard size dress from jjshouse.com. I did not order a custom size. The order was submitted. When the dress arrived, it was terribly undersized. In attempting to resolve with customer service over several interactions, they kept noting how the dress was made exactly to my specifications as if it were a custom size (which they do offer and I did not use). After several back-and-forths, the best that jjshouse could do was offer a 10% discount if I wanted to buy the dress again in a larger size, so then I could have two dresses that didn't fit and a smaller bank account. Each time I received a ridiculous non-helpful response, jjshouse seemed to think that the response resolved my problem.
In any case, PLEASE stay away from ordering anything from this site. If you must order something from jjshouse then you should order about two sizes too big based on your real measurements, and then plan on spending money at a tailor getting the dress fixed.
Size wasn't right and had to pay Custom taxes that were higher than the shipping itself. Went for it thinking it would be the cheaper option and ended up paying a lot more than if I had bought it in the UK.

I didn't really want a wedding, but my betrothed did. I was hell bent on not spending more than $800 for a wedding dress, so I was very excited when I stumbled upon JJ's House. I fell in love with a dress that only cost $200. I made an impulsive decision and purchased it. I got measured before I made the transaction and chose the size closest to my measurements allowing it to be a little loose so that I could get it altered when it came in. I have a very little waist and some hips that should make child birth a breeze. Like the genius I clearly am, I read the reviews AFTER I ordered it and was petrified. The dress came in the promised amount of time. Some of the satin was a little stained, but it came out easily. The embellishments were off center and uneven under my breasts, but nothing that the seamstress couldn't fix. The dress was uneven all the way around at the bottom, but it was too long anyway and needed to be hemmed. The alterations shop I took my dress to is a little pricey and it ended up costing me $500 to get everything fixed. I still came in under budget got the dress that I loved, and pretty much got to pay for it in installments (200 to JJsHouse.com, 250 deposit to seamstress, and 250 closing cost to seamstress). Despite trying on dresses everywhere here in Vegas, I didn't get that "ah" feeling like I did with the dress that they sent me. I'm absolutely in love with it. The few dresses that I really liked in person were well over $1200. Overall, you get what you pay for. Cheap labor from a person in China that really doesn't care about your special day. My experience was alright, but only because I expected to pay for some serious alterations once it came in.
I ordered my now-wife's wedding dress off this website without reading any reviews of it online. About a week afterward it occurred to me that I hadn't, so I thought to read some reviews and was so shocked at all the negative reviews that I spent the following 2 weeks completely stressed out that I had just gotten scammed and wishing that I hadn't ordered it, and running around trying to find a backup dress just in case.
However when the dress arrived (which it did on time), it was simply perfect! As stunning as the pictures had shown, and it fit my wife perfectly (we had done the custom fit option). Everyone at our wedding was dumbfounded at the gorgeousness of the dress, and they ALL thought it cost thousands of dollars when in reality it cost slightly less than 300 bucks. To get such GREAT quality and STUNNING dresses at such ridiculously low prices is impossible to do elsewhere.
I'd recommend this website to everyone. If you're careful with your timing and leave at least a few weeks time for adjustments and whatnot (which we didn't even need), just because one should ALWAYS do that when ordering online to be safe, I think you'll be just fine.
In 2011 ordered a prom dress (matric farewell in South Africa) that was absolutely perfect, bead work and overall quality excellent. This year(2013) I ordered a wedding dress for my niece. Beautifully made and fitted perfectly. Bead work professional and very neat. I'm really surprised to see all these negative reviews
I bought a dress and paid the extra to get it custom made... when it arrived it came far too big however I am extremely happy with the quality and colour... having ordered it I then googled reviews and found this site and was so disappointed that I had wasted my money and effort... it arrived yesterday and I am delighted with it. Seriously! It's boned and sewn well and although my dress has no embellishments on it the ruffle detail is perfect... no loose threads. I am planning on adding different colour ribbon and a few bits like that to the dress but I'm almost 6ft tall and with heels dresses always look too short and this is sweeping the floor just perfectly... maybe i'm lucky but don't panic when you read the reviews here.

I read a mixture of good and bad reviews about jjshouse, however I went ahead and bought my prom dress from their website. When the dress arrived i was super happy with it. I had it custom made and it fits perfectly which i was kind of surprised by. The dress is very well made and both the colour and dress looks exactly the same as on the pictures. My dress was supposed to take 3 weeks, however it took 6 weeks instead, so make sure you order in good time! This was a real disadvantage, however luckily my prom isn't until another few months.
I received my dress and it was not made well at all. All of the seams are pulling and some of the seams are not even sewn at all. The sizing is not correct by any stretch of the imagination. I attemtped to return the dress as it says you can request a return form within 7 days of receiving the product. There is no email address or phone number to contact them so the only way you can do so is through their website. They asked for pictures of the issues and refused to allow me to send the dress back saying that I can take it to a tailor to have the issues fixed. I am shocked and appalled that this company can do this and their website should be shut down for fraud and misrepresentation.
"This company is nothing but a bunch of scam artists. My wife ordered (2) dresses. Same style, Same color, in 2 different sizes. Tried both on. Neither fit. Forget trying to send anything back to these scammers. They have you jumping through hoops sending pictures of the dress back to them, telling what skilled people they have working for them. Sending you pics of "the dress" on their forms. Offering 15-30% refund. All the while ignoring your request to get a return authorization. I've never heard lamer excuses from a company before in my life. Paid $32.99 shipping which I can deal with but then get hit with a $45.44 duty fee. Dispute being filed with CC company and PayPal. Warning too all... JJ's House sounds great until there's a problem then they just don't want to deal with it and talk around the issue without providing the solution the customer wants. Never again! We WILL get our money back one way or another and you can take that to the bank. PS... JJ's please don't give your typical response of "We can't find that order number in our system". I've saved all correspondence sent from you and will post it for all to see. Ridiculous way to run a business."
I LOVED MY DRESS! My prom dress came out beautifully and for an amazing price. It did come a day late but i was reimbursed for that! I personally love the site and i think they did an amazing job.
THIS IS A KNOCKOFF SITE. Their pictures are fake, they steal them from other designer websites. I'm currently trying to return the dress that I so blindly ordered. And I'm pretty sure their return process is a scam because its not letting me submit my return request. I didn't even know it was possible to be a 'knockoff' site but they fooled me. Answer: It's risky. They have a NO RETURN for any reason policy. Doesn't fit - too bad. Doesn't look like picture - too bad. Don't think that Paypal will help you, they will usually rule that what you got is "substantially similar" to what you ordered. I paid for custom and told them that I am a size 4/6 in the front and a 10/12 in the back because I swim and that I have small bubbies and wear an A cup. I sent multiple measurements, taken by a professional. I got back a dress that would fit a 6 foot tall Dolly Parton. Maybe if you are perfectly proportioned, or if you are ordering something that isn't a garment, you will have better luck. For me, they saw a 38 inch bust measurement and assumed that I am a DD cup. They didn't listen to anything that I told them. I know that there are computer programs that you input a bust, waist and hip measurement and it spits out a pattern. Maybe that is what happened with me. My A cup bubby in that DD cup dress was certainly humorous. On the plus side, it did look good from the back. You should also know that it costs about 5.00 to ship something from China to the US, but that it costs about 45.00 to ship the same thing from the US to China. I had no complaints about the fabrics used, or the amount of time it took to arrive or the packaging. My complaint is that they totally ignored my description of my body. I recommend that you just pay a little bit more and drive to a store and try on dresses if you aren't a perfectly sized body. The "Norton Secured Seal" that JJ's employee is talking about has nothing to do with the merchandise, it just means that the website is safe from malware.

Answer: I cannot speak for the location as I live in the UK but I was very impressed with my wedding dress - I did pay the extra 20 pounds or so for them to use my exact measurements, however. The dress was stunning.

Your customer service dept Sucks and your scamming people out of there hard earned $$$, I think the newsroom should get involved here we are having the same problem with size, order off your size chart, gown gets delivered and like to size s to small could ny even get the zipper up!

Answer: Dont touch this company I got a dress from them in total cost £160 there was a fault with the jacket and they would take it back, there is no hassle free returns. Then when I posted a bad review they said they would give me a refund and sent me a returns form with an address to where to send the dress. I sent this recorded delivery as JJS house requested and when Royal Mail went to deliver it they refused to take it. Avoid like the plague
Answer: I would suggest you find your garment locate. My reason for suggesting to shop locatebis that you can return or exchange without dealing with a return policy that would cost you money. Before you decide to purchase from this company, look up their reviews and complaints on JJ'S HOUSE.
