Two years ago i was invited to a formal prom, and ordered a dress from this website which came on time and was of good quality. Slightly off sizes. I found this site before ordering my second prom dress for 150 euro and it took me a while of searching before realizing I didn't like any other dresses and I went for it. I chose the custom made option for my dress, as I have a slim waist but a larger bust. This time the speed the dress came in was unbelievable! I ordered it on Thursday the 3rd of octotber. On Sunday I got an email saying my dress was finished and in DHLs possession. Three days! Three days later it got from china to mu front door! I opened the box and the dress was great. The pearl pink colour was really pretty and the sizes were ok- a big too big at the bust but my mom will be able yo fix it for me! What I would advise it for people yo NOT go for the custom option, choose a size where everything is big enough for you and spend the extra on getting it professionally tailored.
Overall I think that my dress is pretty, my credit card had the correct amount taken from it and my dress was delivered very quickly! I was happy with my overall experience
Never buy from this company. Highly dishonest. They don't have any return policy and they sell different garments that on pictures. What's more you can't find their address or/contact details anywhere on the website. This is Chinese unethical company that raven European or US naive customers to fool them into purchase they can't return.
Bought a dress for my daughters homecoming and cancelled it before it even was shipped out! The are trying to not refund my 120.00 for the dress I received no dress and now they wont even give back my money! My nephew is engaged to be married to the most wonderful woman. My mother, the Grandmother, wants to buy the wedding dress. Our beautiful first time fiance to my nephew found "her dress, her wedding gown" on JJsHouse.com. Oh, how excited we all were.
Last evening we went on line to JJsHouse.com to make the purchase. We entered "custom measurements" and entered my mother's credit card information. Three times the credit card came back as "denied. You have entered the credit card information incorrectly, try paying through paypal." Three times I reentered the credit card information, making sure all numbers and the expiration dates were correct. Three times my mothers credit card with AAA credit was denied. It was a Saturday evening and the Credit Union could not be notified. We were disappointed.
Two seconds after the last attempt to buy the dress the credit card company CALLED US! They said WE DO NOT TRUST JJSHOUSE.COM and WILL NOT AUTHORIZE ANY PAYMENTS to THAT SITE! Buyer BEWARE!

Not Happy
This dress looked perfect for my function.
When it arrived I was so excited... that is till I opened the parcel.
I sent my measurements for correct fitting and from this the dressmaker would have known I am big busted.
But with all the excessive gathering around the neckline and arms ( which does not show in the photo) it gave me the shoulders of a swimmer.
I had plans on buying several other dresses displayed on the web site but as this was a First time buy from JJ's I will not tempt fate with a second purchase
Very Disappointed.
They have NOT put this review on there site (and I doubt they ever will) but they have emailed me stating
"Our customer service representative team will get back to you within 24 hours. Please do not reply to this email."
I don't expect to hear from them but they will never hear from me again,,, now I have to go and buy another dress for my function

I wish I had seen site jabber reviews before ordering. I too have been ripped off by JJs house. I ordered a chiffon wrap for my daughters wedding and when it arrived the chest, waist and hips were correct but the sleeves were too tight. My daughter who wears 4 sizes smaller than me tried it on and they were too tight on her also. Once you figure out how to contact them you get the run around. After complying with everything they asked including sending pictures of me in the jacket they told me to take it to get altered, which I can't because there is no excess material. Then they offered me 10% off another jacket. No exchanges no refunds. I also paid for express shipping which took twice as long as they stated. Expensive lesson learned. DO NOT ORDER FROM JJs HOUSE! The reviews on their site are probably bogus!

I've never felt so cheated and robbed out of my money. I custom ordered my dress and there is a 12 inch gap between the zippers because they made it too small. I was veery concerned after reading the reviews! It was too late! I had already ordered. However, my dress arrived ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! I followed the measuring guide and typed in thee correct measurements, along with a note that I would not be wearing heels. The dress arrived by UPS Standard shipping. I chose it even though expedited shipping was offered at a cheaper rate. It arrived in only twelve days, even though the website stated the customizing alone might take an additional two weeks BEFORE shipping The dress fits as though it was sewn on me! Awesome! I didn't even want to take it off! Gorgeous! Thank YOU!
I have a dress shop where I do clothing alterations. In reading the other reviews, I can only guess that your dress will come with the quality of the seamstress who sewed it. There is no consistency at all in the dresses that came to me last prom season. Of course, they were brought to me because they didn't fit and the clients were unable to get any help from the company. JJs House was the number one supplier for the alterations I did during the season! Problems included: Low-quality fabrics and embellishments, stitching uneven and too few, and bad fit even though measurements had been sent. Three young ladies had to purchase a new dress because their dress had never arrived by the day before prom. I want to clarify that your "custom fitted dress" is actually adjusted by the seamstress as she/he sews. The seams inside the dresses are left long at adjustment points and then sewn to the measurement. This is not quality work. For instance a bust measurement is done at the largest point on the bust. When the seamstress measures to adjust the fit, the only way the dress will fit is if the back of the dress is straight across like a bra strap. Please do not waste your money! Although I was able to fix these dresses, when you add the price of alteration, it is no bargain.

They said they "refunded" the money to my account a month ago. It took me two months for them to believe that they completely botched my wedding dress. They are impossible to get ahold of and will do anything to keep their money and they try and make you feel bad for returning the dress. "Two women worked day and night to create your perfect wedding dress." It is infuriating. The dress hem was supposed to go to the floor but instead only went to the floor on the sides but not on the front and back. That was the worst sewing job I have ever seen, including my own (which is saying something). My family all works at the bank that they have "refunded" the money to. I had to file a transaction dispute form saying that they never actually refunded me the money. I do not think I will ever actually get the money back that I spent on the wedding dress, which is pretty sad. JJ's House is such a scam.

Product quality is awful. The dress I ordered was shoved in a plastic bag and stuffed in a box. The beading on the dress was cheap and the sleeves were poorly made. They refuse to refund for dissatisfaction of their products and feel that because they are "made from scratch" they do not "shoulder any responsibility" for quality. WRONG. I cancelled the credit card payment and am making sure I pursue every avenue to let the public know about this consumer rip off! DO NOT buy anything from these people. They are animals.

I wish I had found these reviews before we ordered. Their sizing is terrible. The dress we ordered is more than a size too big and they will not refund no matter how many photos of measurements we send back. The decorative elements are really cheap and nasty. They lead you to believe you can get a refund if there is a problem with sizing. I am taking it up with Paypal to get some action.

I was struggling to decide whether or not to purchase a dress from this site for a couple of days. I was trying to decide for myself if it was a safe/legit site. The prices seemed too good to be true, they're based out of China and their site is riddle with typos and spelling errors. After using their Live Chat feature to ask a few questions about a dress I was interested in and in their company, something just didn't feel right. At the end of the day, I just didn't feel safe with this company potentially having my credit card information. I decided to pass.
WORST SITE - DO NOT BUY - I ordered my formal dress from here expecting it to be of decent quality and it was absolutely terrible! Worst quality and worst customer service. After constant pushing, I only managed a 40% return. Worst. Service. Ever.

One they were quick delivering the dress for me
Two the dress material was cheap and the tailoring was horrible
Three they refuse to return anything even if you prove them wrong
Four they are very tricky and if you get tricky with them you will get some money back

Even one star is too good for this $#@! Company. I ordered a bridal wrap and a "satin" clutch from them and wanted to return both because the wrap is made of some cheap fuzzy material and has a horrible stench to it, and the clutch is dirty, cheap looking and is not anything like the picture. You cannot return any items. Period.

This is the most horrible company to buy anything from. The customer service representatives are RIDICULOUS! I ordered a veil from them (stupid me) and when received the color was wrong as well as the veil was made improperly. The tiers were made where the short layer was underneath the longer layer - it looked stupid. It was not a veil to be worn over the face either.
When requesting a return - I was told that I did not know how to wear the veil properly and when looking at my order, the veil was made properly and the color was correct. Why - because it states the correct color on my order - I asked the representative if he made the veil himself?
DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM no matter the cost!
I doubt VERY seriously judging by the attempt to return the product that I will even get my return and I am out the money on the veil - to not have to deal with them. Take the $30 for the veil and shipping and shove it is what I would have to say. GIRLS - don't waste your money or support such an ignorant company. I have been in customer service for years and I have NEVER dealt with such pathetic people in my life.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!
Theyre customer service is non-existant... they wont even let you exchange a dress for a different one... and they dont do refund... even though they say you can "submit a request" it will always be denied. They will say:
"We are sorry that the dress does not fit you, but according to our return policy, if the dress was made exactly in accordance with the specifications you ordered, it could not be returned or exchanged.
You can go to a local tailor or a professional seamstress to have the dress re-sized at your own cost. Please note that if your order specifications differ too greatly from the final sizing request, re-sizing may not be possible. If so, we can offer you a new dress in the correct size with a 10% discount.

Answer: I wear a size 4. I ordered a size 10! The dress still didn't fit. Believe the bad reviews! Now they are offering a 10% return for a stock dress that they say is custom made. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. You have been warned
Answer: It's risky. They have a NO RETURN for any reason policy. Doesn't fit - too bad. Doesn't look like picture - too bad. Don't think that Paypal will help you, they will usually rule that what you got is "substantially similar" to what you ordered. I paid for custom and told them that I am a size 4/6 in the front and a 10/12 in the back because I swim and that I have small bubbies and wear an A cup. I sent multiple measurements, taken by a professional. I got back a dress that would fit a 6 foot tall Dolly Parton. Maybe if you are perfectly proportioned, or if you are ordering something that isn't a garment, you will have better luck. For me, they saw a 38 inch bust measurement and assumed that I am a DD cup. They didn't listen to anything that I told them. I know that there are computer programs that you input a bust, waist and hip measurement and it spits out a pattern. Maybe that is what happened with me. My A cup bubby in that DD cup dress was certainly humorous. On the plus side, it did look good from the back. You should also know that it costs about 5.00 to ship something from China to the US, but that it costs about 45.00 to ship the same thing from the US to China. I had no complaints about the fabrics used, or the amount of time it took to arrive or the packaging. My complaint is that they totally ignored my description of my body. I recommend that you just pay a little bit more and drive to a store and try on dresses if you aren't a perfectly sized body. The "Norton Secured Seal" that JJ's employee is talking about has nothing to do with the merchandise, it just means that the website is safe from malware.
