The dress was a disaster - totally ill fitting and looked horrible on so I was not able to wear it to the event that I bought it for. About 2 weeks after receiving the dress I was sent a bill from DHL for Customs & Excise for the dress coming into the UK - I had already paid a £20 shipping charge plus the cost of the dress so a further £32 was not welcome - BUYER BEWARE - you will get hit with these charges... wish I had known, made a crap dress a crap expensive dress. Oh also ordered some jewellery - the earrings were clip on - really?
UPDATE 20/01/2014: Have now worn the jewellery and the necklace broke on the first wear. I also complained to JJs about the charges which they have now refunded with an additional fee for the necklace but it has been an effort and nearly 2 months to do it. I now get inundated with phonecalls asking me to update this post - I have had 5 calls from them today - so my post has been updated JJs - please do not contact me again. Thanks for my partial refund but it does not get away from the basic fact that the dress is no use to me as the event has been and gone.

A few months ago I ordered a wedding dress and garter from jjhouse. The dress showed up on time but I never received the garter. The dress was too small but when I went to return it they would not let me because it was "custom made for me" however I just chose a standard size. A few days ago I got an email saying that there was an issue with my order and they would refund me my money... But only the money for the cost of the item not the cost that I paid in shipping. NEVER USE THIS WEBSITE TO ORDER ANYTHING! It is the worst online shopping experience that I have ever had.

The dress I ordered arrived promptly, and was very pretty. However, although I had sent in my measurements and paid extra for them to "customize" the dress, it was no where close to fitting. BEWARE! This company will not refund you any of your money, nor replace your purchase, because they have "photographic evidence" showing them holding up a tape measure to a dress that proves they made your dress correctly. Do you want to risk spending several hundred dollars on a single dress only to find it is several sizes too small, and can not be altered? READ THEIR RETURN POLICY! Don't be another one of their victims; buy from a place that will not rip you off if they make an error.

I know a lot of people will disagree with me on this but this is the way I feel...

If you buy from websites based in China, Nigeria, Congo, Namibia, Iran, Syria, etc etc... a good rule of thumb is don't buy technology (phones, computers, cars etc...) and food (baby food, formula etc...).
If you buy anything at all... buy cheap plastic things like cd holders and make sure they aren't priced over $5. This goes for palm reading too.
Also when you order from places like this don't give them a credit card number otherwise you will be overcharged. Use something safer like a disposable credit card that only has $5 of credit.

PS. Don't order more than one item at a time that way your never out more than $5.

NEVER ORDER! FILE CREDIT CARD DISPUTE AGAINST THEM TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK! Dress arrived too small. Would not send out return form. Months of email, back and forth, proof in pictures, still no return form. Filed dispute with my credit card company, dispute settled in my favor, received credit :), sent the dress back.
Found out from my bank that they had another dispute against JJ's House as well.
This company needs to be shut down. It is a "NO STAR" company.

Do NOT recommend this site for purchasing anything. They are fly by night anything goes. It is a toss up on WHAT you will receive and WHEN you may receive it. As they state, sizing is their specialty and necessary time is alloted to make sure it is made for you, of course a slight discrepancy could be allowed and then you are advised to take it to your tailor. This is not the case. As it may appear, they take dresses from other manufacturers replace the prior tag with their tag, jjshouse and then ship them on to you. Their lack if professionalism and inconsistency in their ability to perfect the matching of sizes, colors and quality leaves this company in a category that would appear as less than inferior to the other companies that can perform and actually hit the target on the order, or at minimum come close to the request. Our order took forever to arrive, colors were incorrect, size was a discrepancy of more than four sizes to large and quality was minimal. Read the RETURN, CANCELLATION policies. This company makes it difficult to process any return for any reason. Reputable companies would ensure fair policies and procedures and would also be readily available to communicate and discuss any issues by phone. Once you place your order with this company it is a gamble. Your money is spent, they grab that quickly and then it's the luck of the draw IF you will get anything like you ordered. Basically conclude if it isn't what you want you will be looking to sell it yourself to get any money back. I would not entrust returning anything to this company and think that you will in fact get any of your money actually returned. As well you will then not have any product to try to sell yourself and at least try to recoup your shipping costs.
In long... this place is a RIP OFF site. There are so many other sites out there... do not take the risk on this one. This review site makes you select at least one star, I would not give it any stars!
