The company's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, particularly regarding its customer service and fulfillment processes. Common complaints include excessive shipping fees, delayed shipments, and difficulties in communication, with many customers struggling to reach support or resolve issues. While some customers appreciate the product selection, the overall sentiment leans negative, highlighting a lack of responsiveness and accountability. The company appears to prioritize profit over customer experience, leading to a growing trend of customers seeking alternatives. What are the transmission took a long time to get. Sold me a Boss Hog torque converter sold me a Jegs torque two torque converters no transmission I ordered it TCI transmission. So I finally get the transmission about the guy TCI told me if I didn't have a TCI torque converter they did not have a warranty send a pickup order for the Jegs torque converter no problem order did TCI torque converter by the time they came in already had the Boss Hog in it needless to say Transmissions messed up no warranty surprise surprise surprise. I'm not telling you what to buy or who to buy it from but I learned my lesson good luck
This is my worse online experience in a very long time. The customer service is terrible the customer service supervisor Josh is rude and unhelpful. There website must of been made with a free service because doesn't function properly, this has been a waste of time and energy.
Fitted the starter and the drive gear is slow to return which causes it to drag on the flex plate, called Jegs and they said it was a faulty unit and to return for an exchange which is fine but they want me to pay all shipping costs back to the USA and the return to the UK which does not make it financially viable for me which I suspect they know, so I'm left with a useless starter. Regarding Powermaster I've had 3 of their starters over the last 8 years there won't be a forth.
I ordered a set of headers from jegs and they price matched a competitor. The headers were wrong. So i returned them and told them why. When jegs received the wrong headers back they just took it upon themselves to make an order and send the correct headers. Double dipped my account and caused all kinds of issues. On top of that they originally told me they would price match then went back and charged the original price. When I called them, I was told the competitor could not sell the headers for that price, per the manufacture. THE MANUFACTURE IS WHO TOLD ME ABOUT THE SALE!
Yes I plainly talk to a salesperson and ordered what I wanted exactly and since he didn't have it in stock they just oh whatever I can in my Box and ship it to me then they want me to send it back to get my money back before I can get another this is the worst kind of business you can do when you have customers waiting on you
I will sooner go without whatever it is i need than order from Jegs. I spent multiple thousands of dollars on an order, and they royally f-ed just about everything up. Not to mention their order status tracking after the fact is utter garbage. They split orders up into many smaller "invoices" that cannot easily be tracked, and I had to diligently add up all the separate charges on my credit card to find they over charged for some things, and did not include the current sale savings for money off the order. Their order tracking afterward also does not give you quantities of what was ordered, and also does not accurately reflect the shipped status or if there is an available tracking number. Then to top it all off, the most basic of the parts ordered they claimed were back ordered (Denso spark plugs and some GM exhaust gaskets) that are in stock, cheaper and easily sourced from ANYWHERE ELSE. Never, ever, again will I deal with Jegs, and I cannot stress enough for anyone else to look elsewhere. Similar orders from their main competitor have gone without a single issue.
Buyer beware, I purchased a crate engine and immediately started having warranty issues, unfortunately JEGS sent me directly to the supplier and offered nothing but assistance. I have now spent over $3000 dollars at the suppliers suggestion and eventually returned the engine and received a replacement but have spent thousands performing diagnostics at the suppliers request and have paid twice for removal and installation. It's been going on for almost a year and a long story, very unhappy, my only suggestion is buy from a reputable local storefront. I thought they were a great place but this has definitely soured me.
Last time I order here. I was on a time crunch and my purchase didn't arrive by due date. Summit is where I stay from now on...
I have asked repeatedly to get off the mailing list. Unsubscribed multiple times, sent several polite emails, sent several more not so polite emails and sent even more angry emails wishing them personal trauma and telling them their parents don't love them. I even received emails apologizing and saying I was off the spam list. Most things marked as spam no longer show up in my inbox. They will not go away. Prices suck, service sucks and now tech support sucks even more. Didn't think that was possible.
Had a problem with EFI purchased from JEGS and the problem was solved to my satisfaction in a timely manner. Will continue to be a customer.
Ordered parts on the 5 they said ship within 24 hours today is the 9th so I called they said won't have parts till the 18th of next month. Customer service would not give any compensation for issue. Will not use them again
DO NOT ORDER PRODUCTS FROM THIS COMPANY! My package was never delivered and the company refuses to help the customer! Feeling robbed!
Just ordered Four Coker red line radial tires yesterday. If I would have read the reviews I would have gone directly to Coker. I have not received them as of yet, They places the order wrong good thing I checked and then turn it around that it was my fault! I There in a big hurry to charge your credit card! I hope Iam not in for a $#*! SHOW. Never Again! HELP
Have ordered parts from here twice from Australia and no parts wrong or late. I got a defective part (damaged in transit) and they immediately promised to send replacement. I think that's great service and I'd use them again without doubt
His is one of the worst companies ive ever come in contact with... it has taken me leaving work early twice and 4 different phone calls to the company and also 8 emails to get a bumper returned after it showed up opened and scratched up (deep scratches). Ive left it outside to be picked up to be returned for 3 days now and it has yet to be picked up. WORST experience with a company thus far... no compensation or anything all i got was an apology. Ive lost money from having to leave work just to get it returned... im lucky it hasnt been stolen sitting outside waiting to be returned for 3 days now... having to bring it in and out of my garage everyday so it DOESNT get stolen... would not reccomend this company to anyone...
I have ordered much from Jegs over the years and have been mostly happy with them. But lately they have really slipped in service. They show just about everything made in the car world but have a really hard actually having that part to ship. I have been getting an email saying the part is back ordered with no ETA on several of my recent orders. So I call or chat with someone with no ship date so I just cancel the order. I'm tired of dealing with them.
JEGS provided crappy communication, uneducated details, incredibly slow delivery and then repeatedly disallowed my negative feedback. They run your credit card extremely fast though. No problem taking your money and then leaving you hanging. Purchase elsewhere or remember you were warned.
After having already re-written it once, here's the response I received to the 2nd submission of my critique of exhaust wrap:
"Our staff has read your review and values your contribution even though it did not meet all our website guidelines. Thanks for sharing, and we hope to publish next time!
Submit something new
Thanks again,"
JEGS
Here's what I wrote. Please tell me if I'm being unfair...
What a Pain!
I purchased this wrap last Fall and just now had a free weekend to pull off the header and wrap it. I watched the DEI instructional video on U-Tube, pausing it at each step so I understood how the wrap was correctly applied. The wrap unraveled faster than I could wrap it around each pipe. And, even though I meticulously followed the video instructions for measuring, I always came up short and had to start over several times. Don't believe the "... 1/4" overlap..." on the video, you will need at least a 1/2" or you will end up with 'bare' spots where the wrap doesn't cover. As for the stainless steel ties, good luck getting them tight enough to hold the wrap. Also, 35' is not enough wrap to cover all four pipes of my 2.3L Ford engine header on my project. I got only three wrapped, so now will have to buy more to complete the job. Which, right now, looks like {Expletive}. So, maybe I'll do something else.
This is the worst company Ive ever worked for. Im in tech support, they constantly change your schedule so you have to check it every day. Theres no consistency to the times you work or days your off. Never have any parts that are acutally worth the money in stock. Upper management will constantly belittle you and make you feel like a idiot. Most of the supervisors have no actual tech experience just look at a catalog and says well our catalog/website says it will work. Were told to tell the customer whatever they need to hear to make the purchase.
Contacted them for help on exhaust tips. Ordered the tips from the part number they gave me. Payed two day shipping. Received them. They did not fit. They made me pay to return them. Plus did not refund my shipping cost as they said they would. Company is a joke. I'll never use them again. If you buy online they state any mistake is your fault since you ordered it.
Answer: Let me count the ways Because they dont send the ordered part mine was wrong my neighbor in our tract order was wrong - the shipment here to lake havasu were more than a week late - most likely because tythe phoenix hub didnt have a truck going this way. Well too bad..
Answer: Yes Cancel had same experience order wouldn't arrive for Two months
Answer: They don't understand the products they sell. Parts they recommended with won't work at all, could possibly work, or might destroy your engine. They won't take responsibility if something goes wrong.
Answer: I actually didn't have any issues with getting a representative on the phone either time I called them. It was the 1 hour+ wait time on hold that was extremely aggravating for the exchange. The 2nd time I called, I was helped very quickly, and the 2nd representative was way more professional and polite, compared to the man and woman I dealt with on the first call... please hold... please hold... please hold...
Answer: Good luck asking for an "expert" from JEGs. Also enjoy the "Help is right around the corner" message repeating itself while you wait on "hold". Almost like their phone system doesn't go anywhere when you ask for customer service.
