I find the jAlbum interface and structure difficult to learn. It takes a lot of time to figure it out. Creating a gallery structure and getting photos into it should not be difficult, especially when trying to avoid duplicate uploads. Some of teh terminology is odd.
I've used JAlbum for years, but no longer needed a Pro license. Th support staff were quick and helpful in downgrading my license.

I'm very pleased with jAlbum on my iMac. I've been using it to compile annual albums of the plants and flowers in my garden for several years, and it really makes the project simple. The service is outstanding -- questions are answered promptly and the staff has been most helpful. Now if Apple would only put its comments, captions, etc into the standard format for metadata, all would be well. As it is, I use MetaImage to edit all of that stuff before running jAlbum, and it puts everything in the right places.

I've been using jAlbum for years and just in the last couple of years have started uploading my albums to your servers. The process works flawlessly and easily, so kudos are in order there. JAlbum itself works great -- it would be even better if Apple stored titles, captions, and comments in EXIF like everyone else, but they don't. So I use a third party app (Metaimage) to get the data into EXIF where jAlbum can extract it effortlessly and use it in building the albums. Overall, I'm very pleased with both the jAlbum app which has gotten consistently better and faster over the years, and with the service and technical help I've gotten.

Only that the uploading of new materials has resulted in a hiccup on multiple occasions, which then took HOURS to rebuild all my 12,000 images instead of just the 100 I updated. That's right.
I just let it do it's thing and then all is well. Just my experience. Not all the time either. Go figure.
David and others have tried their best to help me. Something glitchy.

Very frustrating no serious support. Difficult sign up finally worked it out myself. I album excuse no help on line. The program is very good once you learn the basics.

The software is pretty straight-forward and easy to use. There is a learning curve, but it was quite easy. The staff helps out tremendously when I need help.

I like the way you just import pictures in JAlbum and it creates a superior photo album which you can tweak and design for your personal taste.

I've been using various versions of this software for more than a decade. I also use their web hosting service. The software provides a wonderful variety of function, although it can take a while to learn how to exploit it all. That leads to the second point. The customer service is superb--whether to help solve a problem or explain how to accomplish something. I know of *no* other photo album software that can match this one--in either function or service.

I have never found another application that is more suited to publishing your photos for the web. Easy and intuitive to use. Provides the freedom to change styles to suit your needs or design your own.

Starting my 2nd year using jAlbum and didn't hesitate to purchase another year's upgrades and support. Bit of a learning curve, but once I got over that, creating, modifying and updating my albums is a piece of cake. The software I *was* using literally took hours to do updates and sometimes days to create new albums. With jAlbum, updates and changes take minutes and even a brand new, multi-hundred image album, with captions, can be done in a couple hours or less.
