Ixl sucks dont waste your money on this i trigerrs kids dont even think about it i am being honest if you get right 1 point wrong -10 points

Ixl sucks because i will be at 69 and get one wrong and go down to 51 and i have to waist my not so long time and be so frushtrared at the same time get rid of it!

IXL is overall not very helpful to me. It is very uninteresting and its point system is very outdated. The point system will start at 0, and when I get a problem right, it gives me about, 6-8 points, but if you get a problem wrong, it will take away 10-12 points and it is very frustrating when you need to get it done. It also gives younger kids (and just kids in general) no encouragement! You can't just tell a kindergartener "you haven't mastered any skills"! They think of that sentence as "haha, you're dumb and terrible and counting". It's frustrating me to ridiculous levels! All schools should use Khan Academy because it's way better and offers you actual help with math and many other topics AND it's free! IXL charges you a whopping 80 DOLLARS A MONTH! Teachers are wasting their money on something that isn't even helping us kids! Everyone should use Khan Academy! ( also I accidentally went on IXL's view source page and GUESS WHAT I FOUND!? It says the smart score system is out of date!

It's bad. You'll regret doing this and I wonder why they didn't make this as a tool for extreme punishment. If there's one thing you should learn in life, its that IXL is horrible. I bet Khan Academy is better, wait never mind. Khan Academy IS better, so I don't have to bet actually.

Apparently teachers still do not understand that THIS SITE IS NOT GOOD AND SHOULD NEVER EVER< EVER BE USED! I am assigned 3 topics a week, and even that's extremely annoying. IXL takes away so many points any time you get one question wrong. In the challenge zone (90 points and up) it will give only one point for every question correct, and then has a fun time bringing you down to like 84 points when you get one wrong. If I could give this horrible, awful, annoying, and terrible website zero stars, definitely would. If a teacher is reading this DO NOT MAKE YOUR STUDENTS GO THROUGH THE PAIN OF DOING EVEN ONE TOPIC A WEEK!

So early today I was doing IXL at school. I was already in a bad mood as I was tired and and was hungry. So we have to get to 90 so after a good 20 question I get to 84 I was happy because I was close then Suddenly I get 2 incorrect in a row and boom bam bop im down to 52 this has me make an action of ripping my pencil bag in half. IXL IS THE WORST IT SHOULD BE A TORTURE METHOD TO MAKE PEOPLES ANXIETY GO THROUGH THE ROOF AND MAKE THEM WANT TTO INFINITELY COMPLETE A SKILL WHEN YOU CANT

I hate IxL because I know the subject, but the teacher doesn't think so because I make a minor mistake, and its sets me so far back, and it causes me to mess up more. It is rigged and causes more harm than it helps, there are many study on this If you want to look it up. Thanks

IXL is so bad that when you get something right, it only gives you 1 point. But when you get something wrong, it is like "haha, you are dumb, time to take away 10 points" like, dude, this system is very unbalanced. I remember back in 3rd grade when I had some ixl for homework, and I stayed up until like mid night doing it. 1 star.

This takes my child forever to finish one small thing and it is totally useless and I hate it because his teachers tell him finish but it takes him so long and he gets super stressed.

My sister and and i use ixl and it is STUPID. The smart score system is really horrible. We cry lots when we get one question wrong cause it takes down ten points and adds one when your answer is correct. DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE/APP!

Evreything about this website is honestly pure idiocy. If you look at it some of the answers are wrong, sometimes when you look at the answers given on a multiple choice question and the explanation given to you (after you get the question wrong) the correct answer on the explanation WASN'T GIVEN TO YOU IN THE FIRST PLACE. So all in all this website should be deleted and burned in hellfire for all the stress and anger it's caused students and parent throughout grades K-12
