THEY NEED TO FIX THIS $#*! ITS A WHOLE PANDEMIC GOING ON AND THEY CANT ANWSER THEY PHONE. AFTER A CERTAIN EVERDAY AROUND 7 I call this one time I actually got to talk to someone then I had to find my information soon as I got it the phone dropped no call back or nothing. They need a better order of doing things and stop acting like people begging when it's our money like how many days do I have to wake up and try again tomorrow about just seeing why my information is saying incorrect when I try to check my refund it's ridiculous

If I could give a negative star I would they don't deserve and stars at all- they don't mind taking your money, but when it comes to them giving you your money It's where the problem lies. The government acts like it's broke but yet they collect tax from the workers constantly. I have not been sent my 2nd stimulus check and I have 3 kids to raise behind on bills. Where is the help here and needless to say I have not received my income tax from 2019. I'm about overly dissatisfied with the system- The Government is not for the people anymore- was it ever? I hate the system! They have got to do better by the citizen's

They dont provide any good info and the website is a joke. They just like to screw people over and not give them the money they are promised. As long as they get paid at the end of the day they dont care who they screw over. Why would we have to claim the 600 in our taxes if we got the first one before. Can't get any decent help from the government because they are all old pricks and crooked. Let's $#*! you over on everything we can and give you a tiny bit of money (if you actually receive it that is) to try and make it seem like they are "the good guys". $#*! the government and everyone in it

Worse customer service

A stray dog has a better customer service and a iq then the people work for the IRS Very rude can not help you and do not know nothing I do not know why we pay tax dollars to them for and they are dumb as a Box of rocks They do not deserve the one star I have given

Useless

The transcript lookup tool was not working for me, even though I don't know what other address they could possibly want from me. The woman I spoke to said she didn't have access to the information and patronized me by telling me to take a deep breath, and then gave me a number for the helpdesk that no one answered (a voice message at that number redirected me to irs.gov, which is where I had the original problem). Kafka-esque nightmare.

To HELL with the IRS!

I have been waiting on my Federal tax refund for almost a year now. Nobody can give me any information as to where it is & when I will receive. They hide behind this COVID-19 excuse. DO YOUR JOBS & GET PEOPLE THEIR MONEY OR STOP COLLECTING TAXES ALL TOGETHER. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. HOW CAN WE SUE THE IRS? Horrible

I had a tax issue and have been trying to get it resolved for almost 2 years. The department sent me a letter in December of 2019 saying it needed 60 days to send me a full response. That was over 300 days ago. I realize we are in the middle of a Pandemic but this should have been resolved well before then. On Monday, I was on the phone for approximately 2 hours and 10 minutes waiting before I got a message saying " there was a technical issue" and kicking me back to the main screen. I called again on Tuesday and got a hold of someone who told me they were not sure how to solve my issue so they would have their manager call me back within 24-48 hours. Never got a call back. Called back in again today and have been on hold for an hour and 51 minutes and nobody has picked up. This is the worst organization I have ever dealt with.

Bunch of useless mappets

We have waited for a year trying to get our refund. Bloody useless, they don't answer the phone, they don't take any records! I wonder why the hell I declared my taxes! I'm overspending money because I have to pay somebody else to contact them on my behalf but they are a bunch of monkeys!. First world country? USA bloody systems are crap. This is the last time I do any bloody business in this third world country!

RICO Racket!

They collect Taxes everyday, yet cant even be available to fulfill ANY duties and responsibilities as stated in their own Tax Payer Bill of Rights?! Local offices Closed due Con-rona Virus and telephone calls go unanswered and/or are dropped by Government Agents who get paid to do... nothing with extreme attitude and rudeness!

Never never never they answer the calls I call the appointment line, wait 1:45 minutes to get a real person, & they proceed to tell me they have to transfer me... to another dpt because i ask to operator if repeat id number and name

Wild goose chase

I call the appointment line, wait 30 minutes to get a real person, & they proceed to tell me they have to transfer me to the appointment line, which is what I called & dialed "1" for. Twenty minutes later, someone else answers, and she too, can't set an appointment for me, & wanted to transfer me again! I have prepared taxes for 21 years, and never once, have I had a good thing to say about the IRS customer service. But, they are government workers, who will still get paid doing a terrible job.

Over 2 years now and no one has any idea why my husband's tax refund has never been able to be solve. We have called numerous times and their time on hold can be up to 2 hours and when someone finally answers they are rude and very unprofessional. This representative told us she was whom started our case umm no wonder why it's taking two years. This representative told my husband that he had no right to claim my kids because they aren't his and she claims to know that we aren't married even though we send them our certificate but okay, she then said that our kids weren't born here which they are, This representative also said she had to hang the phone because she was late to get home and eat! My questions is, where are they getting this people from? No one seems to know what they are doing or why, they can close you're case without knowing why but they will. They have poor customer service!

Why is it good people always get screwed over. I called the irs because I received a letter from trump but no stimulus check April 24th the date I was supposed to get it for me and my 2 kids they told me to wait 4 to 8 weeks which I did on the 8th week I called back the irs agent told me they have my credits in the account but the system wont Release it and it's no freeze code on it they dont know what's going it's nothing I did and it's not just me but also people around the world my question to the irs is if the system not working how are you going to deliver a second stimulus package l also was apart of the glitch that happened which caused them not to get my bank information I don't understand why this is happening but I trust in Jesus Christ.

Whomever the CSR with the last name Winley is, she's extremely disrespectful. I understand you have other people waiting on the phone, but DO NOT rush me off the phone and hang up on me because I have questions. You are fortunate, unlike others to have a job, so be mindful of that. People have questions and concerns and it is your job to answer them. It seems that every year, these representatives get more and more unprofessional.

Transferred multiple times (each time waiting 30 minutes to 1 hour) then given different phone numbers to call... (Only to be transferred again). It's like a big circle jerk. Nobody seems to have an ability to resolve anything. Cannot verify tax returns, pending $ owed, or other before going through (so far) 8 different people... It's likely a good thing for them that they do not have to deal with competitors. If this were the case I think they would have gone out of business long ago.

Tax return

I call to verify my taxes return,,, and IRS only have a machine to answer your question and nobody to answer your question. So I still waiting for my tax return since March 2020. They have the worst system on the hole country,, just because they have to pay you back.
