Indeed disabled my account for no reason. I have 4 professional licenses, lived and worked in the same city and state for over 30 years. I have attended college and have a doctorate from the same city and am hiring licensed candidates in the same city and state as my home town. I followed what the rep told me to do. I cannot comprehend what the standards are for job posting a job on indeed.
My indeed account have been disabled without any prior notice or any information provided on the reason. I have a ltd recruitment company and work on behalf of different clients and since last few weeks I am in so much pressure and problem as none of the appeal is answered and no reason is given and my clients are relying on my posting too which seems really frustrating. I work with sales and marketing companies, care workers, general administrative and management staff too.
Indeed replied and nothing is done. Such a irresponsible team as I am still receiving emails someone has applied for the role and someone is no more interested in the role. I have requested my account deletion but they don't bother replying at all.
Our account and sub-accounts have been suspended - in a matter of 1-2h - always after one NORMAL job posting, no explanation provided - just referring to their Policy and they leave you wondering why.
We are in the Job posting business and we know ''what's going on''. Some of our posts were the same kind like most of the offers on indeed - with a URL redirection to the SAME job boards/clients, but our account got declined... surprised?! Nope!
Our first account used the Free Credit offered; a few days after the end of the Promo - we kept posting, but without sponsoring our jobs - and boom - suspended!
We were about to start paying for jobs, but firstly, we got in touch with the Employer's support over the phone, wanting to clarify what is our balance and if the Promo has been applied, as it wasn't clear. The Agent told us that has no idea what would be our balance at the end of the month, couldn't see the Promo we had just used and such lack of knowledge made us put on hold investments until the end of the month.
I hope better Job aggregators/boards would take over Indeed soon. However, paying so much (in general) for just a job post - is unreasonable, better use recruiters.
Not even sorry for leaving this one-star review - if I could - would give -1000! We lost a lot of time preparing for launching our company on Indeed and such non professionalism is hilarious for an Awarded job board...
Hi Emiliya, all accounts and jobs are subject to our standard reviewing process. The account has gone through our reviewing process and we have concluded that we will not show these openings in our search results and the account will remain in its disabled status. In addition, Indeed does not allow non-job postings. This includes, but is not limited to, jobseeker fees, training and education opportunities, franchising opportunities, multi-level marketing opportunities, jobseeker employment solicitation, expired jobs, and jobs which do not represent a specific employer vacancy. As the account has been disabled by Indeed you do not have the option to post a new position. Please note: Indeed may reject or remove any job and may disable any Company's account, for any or no reason. We cannot give every reason why a job or a company may be removed, and we always retain the right to remove any job, organic or sponsored, if we feel it is in our interest or our users’ interest. This is a final decision that will not be reversed. If you have urgent hiring needs, we recommend utilizing other hiring services. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
Its supposedly a free job board but disables your account right after posting a free job. Needless to say it's impossible to talk to a human being. There's a form to appeal the decision, which get auto-denied without explanation.

My boss asked me to post Jobs as a Confidential Company. So as per my research I could post on Indeed, Because as they do have "confidential option".
At the beginning too much trouble of opening the account.
*First, I tried gmail account they blocked, then I did with another account, again they blocked. From my side I provide everything. They asked me "Utility bills with address", "Tax permit", Company license, even I showed them our registration paper. But it is denied, I asked "Why"?, They said "It is blurry".
Nooooooo! It is not!
May be your eyes are blurry.!
Even I tried company official email, facebook account again same process.
My Boss thinks, "Indeed is best for Jobs Posting, because they have very good data. They have too much video tutorials in Youtube", may be it is true.
But they have unresponssible, careless customer care that makes you stupid in front of your boss, and get fired.
Dear Indeed.com Thank you for you attention for details, and making me fired!
Don't waste your precious time on Indeed.com.
Hi Baimurat, thank you for taking the time to leave Indeed a review. All accounts on Indeed go through a standard reviewing process. This review can happen at any time as well. Unfortunately, Indeed has fully reviewed your account and we will not show your listings on the site. Indeed or Publishers may reject or remove any Job Ad, and Indeed may disable any Employer’s account, for any or no reason without notice. Although Indeed may indicate why a job or account has been removed or disabled, we cannot give every reason why a job or a company may be removed, and we always retain the right to remove any job, organic or sponsored, if we feel it is in our interest or our users’ interest. This is a final decision that will not be reversed. If you have urgent hiring needs, we recommend utilizing other hiring services. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
I have used indeed for a couple of years with reasonable results. Today I got several calls from "applicants" about a job listing that I did not post. The listing was promising very high pay and flexible hours for warehouse workers. We are in healthcare. The callers sent me screenshots of the postings. I called indeed because the postings appear fraudulent. All they could tell me was that there were no active job listings on my account. I offered o send them the screenshots and Jacob with "indeed" told me not to bother. He insisted there was no fraud. I asked him to transfer me to the fraud department but he said he couldn't because the postings were not coming from my account. My concern is that someone is using our name to post fraudulent listings on indeed and indeed doesn't seem to care.

They aren't even worthy of it. Applied for really a half $#*! job cleaning. Then went to these questions like was applying for a CIA job. Stopped right there didn't know I was applying for such an important job concerning National Security. Indeed can shove it.
We are sorry to hear about your negative experience with Indeed! To clarify, Indeed is not directly involved in the hiring process, the questions and assessments you may see when applying for a job are chosen by the employer posting the job and dependent on their hiring needs.
I have helped many companies with their hiring process and their sister companies, and have never had this issue with indeed because I have always been careful to make sure our ads are compliant and I was very respectful of Indeed. In December all of a sudden the company I was working for got kicked off and about 10 other companies that I helped setup their accounts all got kicked off for no reason... after lots of them running for years... They know they get most of the people looking for jobs on their site and by kicking us off and us having issues getting applicants so we can fill the positions that we need to staff. They are gonna cause a lot of us small businesses to be shut down. I am very upset as we have tried multiple things to get this resolved and nothing seems to work. None of the other sites get the volume of applicants we need to continue to staff what we currently have or to grow like we were doing till the shut our account down. All my accounts sponsored their ads and paid good money to run their postings. I just don't understand why they don't allow us. It's sales representatives with an hourly pay and commission. Its not a commission only job. Nothing illegal... I just don't understand, nor do I find it fair the way they work... If someone does something you don't like Indeed, you should give us a chance to fix it.

I recently posted a job through indeeds platform. I am a field sales manager for a 7.5 billion dollar company, and Indeed suspended my account from posting any jobs to find applicants and reaching great matches for this role, they give no accurate details as to why my account is disabled, and they have no customer service to assist. Very unprofessional especially coming from a a platform that is suppose to help people jump start their career. This seems to be a common theme. They need to reevaluate the way that they deem accounts valid. I am very upset and tend to take my recruiting elsewhere.

I am a small business owner and trying to hire staff for my office. Posted a job for a administrative assistant, however 5 minutes later indeed just blocked my account with no further explanation. I have tried posting a job a week before and it did the same thing, so I tried to appeal it but they just never replied to me. Indeed is awful.
Hi Bekzat, all accounts and jobs go through our standard reviewing process before they can become fully active on Indeed. This review can happen at any time and accounts cannot opt-out. We see that your account is in review, an appeal was submitted on the account and our moderation team did email you back on February 5,2022 requesting additional documentation for your business. You will need to respond back to them only via email. We sent you a private message with additional details about this as well.
Our organization set up a Company Profile on Indeed.com to give our company better visibility to prospective job applicants. We worked very hard to achieve a 5-star rating on the 'Reviews' section of our Company Profile, which has been listed for several years now. Recently, a completely separate organization created an additional Company Profile on Indeed.com and used the exact same name as our Company, but did not include any differentiating info (such as a logo, address, phone#, Tax ID#, etc). This other organization obtained two negative reviews on their profile. I brought this situation to the attention of several representatives at Indeed.com and asked them for assistance in differentiating our Profile (with a 5-star review average) from the other Profile of the same name (with a 1-star review average). Do you know what Indeed did next? They decided to MERGE the two profiles together, effectively forcing us to inherit 2 negative reviews that did not belong to us. I called and wrote Indeed several times to protest this egregious move and they flat out refuse to fix it even though they have acknowledged that the other Profile is/was not related to our Profile in any way, shape, or form. Now, they have irreparably tarnished our organization's online reputation by forcing our Review Average to plummet, due to the addition of these invalid reviews. Employers, beware of doing business with this organization!
Hi Doug, as we shared on Facebook with you, we do apologize for any misinformation that maybe have been shared. Taking a look into this from our end, we see that the pages in question are for the same company which is why they were merged. We do have a policy around having 1 page per company.
We've also connected with your dedicated representatives on your account and they have explained that they have asked you to provide documentation showing proof that the reviews on your company page are for a separate company. Without this information, our team is not able to remove the reviews from the company page. If you do believe those reviews are for a separate company they will need proof to further assist with this. Your representative did email you yesterday, please respond back with the requested information and she will further assist you.
Today when i opened my indeed account I came to know that Indeed disabled my account for no reason and without giving me any prior heads up. I've been using indeed to find potential candidates for vacant posts in our organization. I never misused indeed in any way. But indeed still disabled my account. I have so many pending hirings lined up which i need to complete asap. I'm extremely disappointed from this site. The least you guys could do for me was just to inform me or give me a headsup.

I've been running a business for 5 years and have been using Ziprecruiter and other job boards consistently., I started to use Indeed towards the end of last year to help staff my company due to the influx of work in our pipeline due to the holiday season. Also, due to Covid, we need more help than ever right now to help the company move forward. I started to use Indeed and I started to get good traction and even stated sponsoring my job posts to get more quality candidates. Right when things started to move in the right direction they disabled my account. I then appealed it followed by 0 explanation to why i was removed. I mean I deserve to FIX the issue if I made a small mistake. I am a small business owner and not a big corporate goliath company so I understand I may not be as important to them but i am a paying customer at the end of the day! Indeed, I liked your platform and was starting to grow from it. But removed without an explanation is not cool! I need a answer asap.
Hi Tofiq,

I'm a job seeker looking for remote work. Indeed.com hooks you up with jobs from all kinds of industries, including remote work. Indeed allows you to personalize your job seeker experience, so that the right companies and industries find you.
We set up an employer account last night, uploaded billing information today, filled out all the necessary information but tonight received a notification that our account has been disabled. The reason provided states "one or more of the jobs you posted to Indeed.com was deemed not consistent with Indeed's quality standards". Not sure what their quality standards are as we answered all the questions and provided as many details as possible.
We figured we would give indeed a try but after this occurrence, we will return to ziprecruiter as this has been a waste of time and effort.
Hi there, a member of our team has followed up with you by private message to provide more details. Thank you.
When your a real company with 5 years of doing business and link your company ein and formation paperwork in the appeal - getting banned for following their rules because i wanted to only hire in direct citys? Lets get real please stop having bots review our appeals and accounts or last let us talk to customer services so we can see why you chose to single out people that followed your posting rules?
Hi Anthony, we are very sorry to hear about your experience with Indeed. We have sent you a private message with further details.
We are a new medical cannabis dispensary opening in Puerto Rico with the need to hire employees as soon as posible. It's our first time creating a "job post" on Indeed.com. Personally I've used it and it's perfect for searching jobs, but by what I see in this review page apparently it's not so good for finding employees. As today, I'm totally unaware of the reason that took our job post (four days ago) from being published and public, nor why our employer account was disabled. It didn't even said a hint or something on the email appointing to why our job post wasn't "consistent with Indeed's quality standards".
Very very bad communication. Account got disabled after 2 hours. This is horrible company to do buinsess with
Hi, Ryan! We have reached out via private message with some additional information to assist further. Thank you!
We have been using Indeed for more than 3~4 years so far without any issue (we are a paid customer and run a completely lawful business in the UK). Today Indeed suddenly disabled our account without any reason and they also rejected our appeal without any specific reason.
We have a lot of hiring in progress and a lot of interviews being scheduled, now all those communications with the candidates have been cut as our Indeed accounts are disabed. This is ridiculous!

Answer: Hello Anita, positions posted for free stay on Indeed for a total of 120 days. Sponsored positions can stay on the site until an employer has filled the job and closed it on Indeed.

Answer: Hello Gerard, sorry for the negative experience. Indeed recently augmented existing search quality programs with new, ongoing strategies to make sure all jobs on Indeed meet standards for quality. This effort included a large scale review of job listings. Jobs that violated our guidelines and companies that did not meet our quality standards were disabled. We apologize that this was a frustrating process for you and will provide this feedback to our Search Quality team for future improvements.
Answer: By NO MEANS should you pursue this so-called job offer further and in fact, you should report them to the Better Business Bureau.
