Qualified candidates. We able to hire from the applicants.
The site is tricky to navigate and isn't laid out very well.
Also, almost every candidate had the same CV layout and after speaking to some candidates it was obvious that they weren't aware that the website sent the information in this way. To employers this takes away the personal touch that you would normally get from the individual's CV and it also missed off some relevant information.
Hi Michelle, thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We will provide your feedback to our product team for future updates to our CV layout. If there is anything else we can do to assist, please feel free to reach out to us at 1-800-462-5842 or [email protected].
The people applying for job are not even qualified for job adverised. Why apply. The requirements is clearly stated.
Hi Sunita, sorry for the negative experience. We'd like to help make sure you are receiving qualified candidates to your position. You can reach out to our Client Care team for assistance at 1-800-462-5842 or email me directly at [email protected].
We´ve created three accounts on Indeed- the second one since our first account got got disabled with no clue as to why. All three times our companies accounts have been disabled without a Word - or even worse, from a customer service Point of view, a response to our inquiry - from indeed. I was recommended from a partner to use this website for recruiting - as it supposedly was worth the higher cost - but since I can´t even get information on basic things, I´m glad I never got as far as to pay for their services. Our companies will stick to Ziprecruiter. And Indeed, you definitely need to take a close look at your customer service department. Something´s wrong with the leadership there.
After getting additional information from the client, we were able to get their account verified. They are now able to post on Indeed moving forward with no issues and their account is no longer disabled. We request this additional information before verifying the account in order to provide the best possible experience for the job seeker.
Our companies account got disabled without even a warning and there is no way to figure out why as they have not gotten back to us.
Hello Faisal, thank you for reaching out to us and sorry for the negative experience. Your account has been disabled because we need additional company information in order to allow your jobs to go live. We've emailed you directly to assist. Thank you.
After being both a paid and free customer for many years im still disapointed and frustrated with their 'Customer Service' the PPC business model does not work for us as a business, where as free posting always has. We have had posting revoked previously and tried to force into pay per click. We managed to get our posting back at some complaining and rightly so as we had had no warning or advice on posting. But yet again this has happened without warning and now sales are telling us 'Free postings been revoked forever', yet your quite happy to take our money and set up pay per click. Customer service isnt customer service, its a sales team that want to sell you something whether or not its suitable for your business and have no interest in the customers thoughts or feelings on the matter. Disapointed yet again Indeed.
Resolution to Review: After looking into this advertiser's account, we were able to provide more information as to why the account was no longer able to use our free posting option. The client was able to make the necessary changes to have this feature re-enabled on the account, and is now able to post for free moving forward.
Attempting to make a hire for a new business, but won't post because we have not registered yet.
If you are a employer, BEWARE! I set a daily limit of $15 per day for my ad, but was charged as much as $35 per day ($142 total), only got 3 candidates, none of which where nearly qualified. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY! I ran the same ad on Craigslist, and got multiple qualified applicants. Thought INDEED would produce better results, disappointed and will never use them again.
UPDATE! Indeed contacted me and we right away, and they were very helpful, and we reached a settlement that I am Happy with!
Hi Fred, sorry for the negative experience with Indeed. We've reached out to you directly to help. Thank you
Our company a first time Indeed user. Everything was going well, we received a lot of response from our posting. Right up until Indeed linked a company page to our job posting. I did not request the company page, they did it on their own. Problem is, they linked a company with our same name but from another state. Evidently this company did not treat its employees well and had terrible reviews. I have already lost 3 potential interviewees thanks to the page because applicants look at the large print, but not the small city and state given. Indeed should check their information for each company before linking pages together, Also, Indeed should check to see that companies who post jobs are even interested in having the additional page.
Hi Donna, sorry for the negative experience with Indeed. We would be happy to help you and ensure that this page is removed going forward so that you can continue to use Indeed in the future. We can submit a request to have the page removed from being associated with your jobs, and also help you claim a new page that you can customize with the correct company information and location. If you'd like us to assist, please send us an email to [email protected]. Thank you.
I posted ads for free on their site and they disabled my account because I don't have a corporate e-mail. So I made a corporate e-mail and spent some good money to do so. I did everything that was asked and they disabled my account because my ads were free. I called and asked why my account was disabled and they had no valid reason. They called me an MLM company (which my company is not as I told them) and when I explained that I wasn't, they told me they disabled my account to "protect my business". Completely discriminated against me because I'm not a huge organization paying them big money for job postings.
Today I was contacted by a job called IBI Group Inc. They are trying to give me an "online interview" which I have never heard of but I gave my name and things like that but once she asked if I had a bank account I told her I had just recently closed it due to me being out of work for 2months now. She told me to go and open it back up then contact her back I asked her if she was going to need my information (which I was not going to give) but she said no just so I can receive direct deposit. I have a prepaid card that can do direct deposit which I told her but she said I could not use. Is this a scam, Indeed can you please tell me about this job.
Hi Jazzmai, we would like to investigate this further. Can you please forward us any emails you received from this company to [email protected] so that we can look into it? Thank you.
I posted bunch of free ads. The job status shows open, and it shows publicly viewable, but when i search on indeed, it doesn't show up. When contacted, they didn't have a good answer, except their so called 1800's quality team won't allow me to post my ads, for no valid reason. They said i can only post paid jobs, which i agreed to, because everyday the jobs are delayed i will be losing an opportunity. Even the paid jobs don't show in the search. They are scam artistic who employ different rule for different companies. They have allowed so many other companies to post free jobs on their site, and many of them use fake company names, but they put so much restriction on valid legal companies. I provided all the documentation they asked for, still waiting...

Received a text message wanting an interview on yahoo messenger, the company was" Lipa Pharmaceuticals" for strictly on line job, she got my information through indeed and everything was fake, i did research and for some reason i did not believe it. Text the company a very ugly message. I though indeed was a good site for people that really need to work to survive and be good citizens, I really believe in indeed because i found my previous job in indeed site,,,,,,
Hello Araceli,
Sorry for the negative experience with Indeed. The account under "Lipa Pharmaceuticals" has been disabled since May of this year. If you have any email communication or additional information that you can forward to us, please forward it to [email protected] so we can investigate further. Thank you.
I'm not sure why there's so much negativity here, but I've had wonderful experiences using indeed as a job seeker. My current position was obtained through indeed and I couldn't be more content with it.
Hi Kate, thank you for sharing your positive experience with using Indeed. If there is anything we can do you help you in the future, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
Indeed is the biggest scam for a employers. Watch out they will make you pay $1000
And if you not pay they will close your acount,,, $#*!ing scammmmmmmmm
Unlike most other commercial job boards, this site is redundant, basically worthless. Upon 'uploading' a resume, it allows to 'Review' your upload, but then opens a detailed page that requires a repeat of all your information, with added fields to include your skills, technical expertise, etc. Basically what you already have listed on your resume. Just ridiculous. And though I never signed up or requested any job blasts, I receive loads of them in my email. Most of which are irrelevant. Absolute garbage. There are far better job boards like Monster, Careerbuilder, and of course, the jackpot: LinkedIn.
Hi Leanette, sorry for the negative experience with uploading your resume. If you'd like to cancel your job alerts, you can log into your account and visit http://www.indeed.com/my/alerts to remove them.
I put my resume on indeed.com and a week later i received an email from a " Gloria Williams" with email address *******@hotmail.com. She stated she was moving to my state and needed a babysitter. She sent me 1st week check and i called the bank on check and it was fraud.
Hello Desiree, thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have disabled this user's Indeed account.
As a company do not use indeed to advertise a job. I was billed over £400 after receiving numerous contacts from applicants who were in no way qualified or suitable for the position. After raising the matter with the indeed their answer was... their site is not monitored... poor respond! A poor disgraceful service.". Avoid using this site! I've never felt so annoyed about such a despicable service and I am clearly not alone. Looking at other reviews so many other employers have experienced a similar service and felt mis led with the billing practise.
Indeed provided a partial refund for this client in the amount of of £167.28 for the last month of charges as well as a credit of charges of £131.87 towards two accounts which were created with jobs that were still running on Indeed.
DO NOT USE INDEED.COM Most of their candidates do not qualify for the job position and they contacted me monthly to sign me up for paid ads. I did one for a week and it continued to charge me indefinitely. It produced no better results than the free ads and sifting through resumes. I tried disputing the over $1,000 in charges to no avail! They argued with me and my credit card company. They are awful STAY AWAY!
To resolve this, we provided a refund in the amount of $456.30 here to make up for what was spent in the month of September. We also provided a clearance of the October balance in the amount of $118.53.
ALL OLD JOBS - WASTE OF SO MUCH TIME...
And yes, all caps was intentional. Indeed is indeed a scam. I agree with other posters.
Answer: Hello Anita, positions posted for free stay on Indeed for a total of 120 days. Sponsored positions can stay on the site until an employer has filled the job and closed it on Indeed.

Answer: Hello Gerard, sorry for the negative experience. Indeed recently augmented existing search quality programs with new, ongoing strategies to make sure all jobs on Indeed meet standards for quality. This effort included a large scale review of job listings. Jobs that violated our guidelines and companies that did not meet our quality standards were disabled. We apologize that this was a frustrating process for you and will provide this feedback to our Search Quality team for future improvements.
Answer: By NO MEANS should you pursue this so-called job offer further and in fact, you should report them to the Better Business Bureau.
