I've been so happy with iMemories and the conversion to digital. I've enjoyed watching all of our home movies from YEARS ago when my children were babies. My tapes were received, converted, and sent back to me with no hiccups and in a quick turnaround.
My only complaint is with the app which I've had a very hard time navigating and getting my videos to play. I've been able to watch my videos after downloading to my device. Sometimes I can watch through the app and sometimes I cannot. Every time, I am at home with excellent wifi and cell signal. Not sure what the problem is - user error? Anyway, I'm extremely HAPPY with iMemories!

I sent 19 video tapes to IMemories and had them AI enhanced and digitized. Then I downloaded them to my computer hard drive for safe keeping. For Christmas I plan to burn a DVD for each of my kids with their own video clips of their childhood. I admit it was pricey but my precious memories are now saved. Some of those tapes were 30 or 40 years old and were starting to deteriorate. Highly recommend this service.

Loved seeing old films that I hadn't seen for years! Especially liked how I could add the "cleaning up" after I saw the films, so that I knew which ones I should do it for.

My children are in their mid 30s and early 40s and being able to preserve their memories from when they were babies up through their high school experience has been wonderful thank you

I appreciate all the hard work that iMemories took into converting my VHS tapes to digital, but they were unable to convert 2 of my 5 vhs tapes. This was unfortunate, plus I was not aware of a $25 return shipping fee that is charged per order. Because of the high costs and return shipping fee, I would not use the service again. I would recommend taking your vhs tapes to a local video/electronic shop or simply purchasing a VHS player for the cost. The charges do not include paying a monthly membership fee to keep your files digitized, or you can pay more fees to convert your files to USB stick or DVDs, etc. If your vhs tapes are in decent condition, just buy a VHS player.

I noticed some of the photos had specs on them that could have been eliminated with a blower or fan.
I was disappointed I could not use captions. Some corrections but not all were made.
Not being an experienced computer person my expectations on written instructions seemed to be lacking. I am hard of hearing so I tried to get instructions via email but my questions were not always answered satisfactorily. Over all the finished product was very pleasing. I still could use detailed instructions in writing. Even now when I'm downloading.

I was hoping that the tapes would be in better condition since AI was purchased. $1300 is a lot of money for digitizing the tapes. Not worth the money in my opinion since the quality wasn't great!

Everything has been terrific except for one thing - I have to use a Google Chrome browser to access from my emails. Not a big deal, thus 5 stars.

Digitally not that I'd have download myself and try to transfer myself that's why I paid the hefty fee, i paid almost $200 to get them transferred and unless you download and transfer yourself you will lose them, unless you subscribe to I memories and pay a monthly fee otherwise the videos are deleted after a month I believe

The final cost of having my tape converted was not clear to me. I did not anticipate that having the video put onto a flash drive would cost extra and the price was too high in my opinion.

We had been forever putting off digitizing all of our tapes, but the half-off deal made it less painful! It is an investment, but well worth it now that we have them and can watch birth, holiday and special occassions from 20+ years ago.

This very easy and seamless experience of having our old "videos" transferred to the Imemories app has been the best gift we could have ever given to ourselves. Watching our videos of our children when they were babies and grandparents at birthdays is the most treasured gift we could ask for. Our original videos were sent back to us in a secure box, and our videos that we haven't seen in 20 years were uploaded into the app within a few weeks. This was all so easy and worth every penny!

We were happy to find a place where we could have our tapes converted to digital. We hadn't been able to view them for years. The process was easy and the results great.

All I wanted was to turn a vhs tape into digital. I did not see where I could just ship them the tape. They had to send me a oversized box and plastic bags to do it. They could have sent me a label. I would have boxed it. They need to rethink. This method unless the purchaser asked for it. By the ti. E I shipped it using there stuff it was overpriced and I would have not done it.

I was looking for an affordable way to digitize old photos and vhs tapes. The iMemories process allowed me to do just that. It was fast, convenient, and affordable.

The majority of conversion were wonderful. There were a couple videos that needed to be sent back for a finer rescan. The rescan was done for no extra charge and the results definitely improved. Great customer support.

Everything about this experience was top notch. Easy to ship items in iMemories sturdy box. I like that they inform you of each step in the process, start to finish time was fast.

The access to my old videos is priceless. They are right there on my phone any time I want to watch or share them. Thank you so much!

Very happy with the complete experience of iMemories! From the filling out the form, receiving the shipping box with bubble wrap, to the wonderful digitized slides! Highly recommend iMemories!

Our photos, slides, and negatives were processed and returned very quickly over just a couple of days, which may be due in part to being located within two hours of the company. Once the digitization was complete, downloading more than 300 files was simple, and we were able to transfer everything to our storage system with no issues. We did not pay for expedited service or enhancement features. Also, only used the digital library and did not request a CD or thumb drive, so cannot speak to those options.

My only recommendation concerns the file-naming convention. Every image was labeled with "family" photo or "family" slide prefix. For clients using the service for professional purposes, and for collections where dates, subjects, or categories are unknown, a more neutral and systematic naming approach would be extremely helpful. As it stands, we didn't benefit from the default naming and all files were renamed to remove "family" due to the professional nature.

Overall, I highly recommend their services for the speed, quality, and ease of use. Just be prepared to receive a high volume of email not related directly to your order.
