I've used iMemories several times and I've always been satisfied. I first used iMemories a few years ago too digitize VHS tapes and Super 8mm sound home movies all from the 80's and 90's.
Wonderful. I sent media to be digitized to iMemories and Legacy Box at the same time. IMemories had more but they were done sooner that Legacy Box. Quality was the same.

I had 3 VHS tapes I sent. One of them, the VCR "ate" the tape but IMemories was able to fix it. I haven't seen these tapes in years, so it was awesome to be able to watch them again. Thank you, IMemories for a fantastic experience!

IMemories took about 1 month to complete our entire order, overall very satisfied but 2 of our 7 tapes have terrible audio and visual which was not present in the original tape and one of our tapes came back damaged entirely unable to be used again.

I am very happy to report that films that were originally on actual film reels that had been transferred to VHS back in the 90's are now modernized and digitized to be watched and shared by my family! My mother who purchased a movie camera back in the 1960's to capture her life as a newly wed had no idea that at her 86th birthday this year we will have the opportunity to travel back in time to visit the beginning of a 65 year love story. Three kids, 4 houses, countless dogs, many cats and 7 grandchildren later we will share these beautiful memories to celebrate her life. I can not express enough the gratitude I have for this service which has been seamlessly easy. If you are on the fence, it is 100% worth every penny to be able to see history replay

It took 2 months to finish, overall most of the videos came back ok but there are a few that the quality is low on. Haven't had a proactive experience with anyone in customer service and haven't received my tapes back or a any email letting me know when I may expect them.

We completely understand how frustrating long delays can be. Orders typically take about 3–4 weeks to complete, as we want to ensure the best possible capture of your memories. Your order took a little over 4 weeks because some of the videotapes required extra attention.
We do update the Order Status section of your account throughout the process, and we apologize if the information provided wasn’t detailed enough. Your feedback is very valuable and will help us improve this process for the future.
We do see that you are working with Customer Service regarding some of your videos. Once those concerns are addressed, we do automatically ship your originals back to you about 1-2 weeks later.

Sending items was quite organized and clear. Paying for the return was not option able.
Our daughters had to do the down/up loading. I'm not sure how it will be used, but feel good we have them.

Not happy with the video's we received for the price we paid. Defiantly not happy with having to pay extra to have our movie reels returned to us. Did not find that out till they received our movie reels.
I sent in the disc, and no one attempted to view beyond the first five minutes, even though the remainder of the video contained only static. The disc was then returned to me without anyone double-checking the full recording. I had to contact customer support to point out the obvious static at the end of the video. No solution was offered, despite the fact that my disc was functioning properly and clearly shows that the video plays for 25 minutes.
Although I should have started the process a month or two earlier for Christmas delivery, they were very quick about getting the first digitized memory online for me. I am completely satisfied with the service and enjoy seeing the family taped digitized for the first time in 30 yrs. If Ihad know that the tapes would fade away after time I would have had this done a lot sooner, but they were able to enhance the tapes and are fun to watch. It was a very easy process to send the tapes to iMemories and have them digitized.

We had 24 - 8mm tapes converted to digital. Wish we had done this sooner as some of the tapes had already begun deteriorating. IMemories took extra time with 4 of them that had issues. We are very pleased and are enjoying viewing and sharing specific clips. I would have given a 5 star rating but only wish more time would have been taken to trim all videos into separate story clips as now I have been going through and editing where they missed some of the separations that were outlined on my tape description cards in the tape cases. High marks for shipping, discount, turnaround, and trustworthy with our box of memories. Appreciate ability to rename files and clips as well as easy editing tools to delete, trim and cut if needed.

Was very pleased with the video but the price is outrageous. First you have to buy the kit and then I have to pay to have my original tape sent back to me and I only had one video tape and the price for that was insane. Probably would not be a repeat customer

Our family has digitized several home movies our parents took starting in 1950's. There were a couple that had damage and could not be transferred. We have come across some VCR cassettes we will be shipping off to be digitized. This is the third time using iMemories, if we were not satisfied with their product we would have never used them twice, let alone a third time.

We’re very sorry there was an issue with the film. Our specialty is creating a digital copy of the original so it can be viewed and preserved using today’s technology. We take great care to capture the film as it exists, but we don’t digitally alter or change the original content, as that falls outside the scope of our conversion service.
This was only one VHS video. Super-old, it came out fine. My kids had never seen these people, so it was a nice family thing. I'm glad you didn't lose it.
