Watching videos of those who have passed with my kids was priceless. Seeing my mom and me dancing with my grandpa brought me to tears.
I was very nervous letting go my precious tapes, they were safely returned and everything was digitalized on my computer. I was able to share them with my siblings son and niece without an issue!

It was an easy transaction to do as the instructions on "how to" are included in the box received. A few of the videos came back with a few grainy view, however over all I am satisfied.

IMemories customer reviews alleviated all the hesitation I was experiencing regarding packing irreplaceable memories into a box and sending it off to the unknown. UPS tracked my package, iMemories kept me well informed on the process steps and return tracking. I would highly recommend this company and trust them with your media. Their website is easy to navigate and the price is affordable. Great experience!
Overall, my experience with iMemories was fabulous! They made the process very easy and efficient, and I'm very pleased with the customer service, the quick turnaround time and the quality of the digital products they provided. In addition, they returned all of my original videos and tapes in a timely manner! I only wished that someone had reached out to me (proactively) to explain that one of my videos could not be reviewed because of a copyright issue and I only found this out after calling myself and asking why the video had not been converted with all the others that I had sent to them. In general, however, the experience I had was truly great, and I highly recommend this company! I myself will be using them again for conversions of photos and other videos.

It's really annoying that we paid over 5K for all of our media to be converted and that we can't EASILY download things. Or that you don't just GIVE us a jump drive with the media on it. Paying for an app is stupid and the download process is extremely annoying and takes forever

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE TO ANYONE! I had 11 hi8 tapes converted and all but 1 of them came out picture perfect. Not sure what happened with one of the tapes but not the end of the world at all. Super quick turn around time (I think 2.5 weeks). Again I highly recommend iMemories!
They did an awesome job on ours old VHS tapes - one was 34 years old! So happy I did it!

Hi Nicki, Thank you for your feedback. The digital conversion is a two step process. The first step is to convert your old analog videotapes/photos to digital video/photo files. The second step is how you choose to save the new digital videos/photos. The iMemories cloud storage subscription is completely optional. It is one of the four ways customers have to save their memories. You can also purchase customized DVDs/USB drives(s) and/or download and save to your own computers and devices which is no charge. You can certainly purchase a USB drive, if you do not want to download everything.
Our team did request that our Review Specialist reach out to your regarding one of your DVDs. That does take 3-5 business days for them to receive the request, review your media and contact you.
We want to ensure the integrity of your memories and that includes making sure they are returned to you. IMemories does automatically ship your originals back 1-2 weeks after your order is complete.
