IMemories makes the process so easy! I sent photos that ranged in age from 90 to 110 years old. So it was hard to part with them in trust. But they more than lived up to my trust. The photos were returned to me with great care and they followed my directions perfectly. I can hardly wait to send more of the literally 1000s of photos I have collected over the last 50 years. Also I called for some technical help with the web and the woman I worked with was so kind, patient, helpful and made great suggestions for my future orders. I feel like I have a team member to work with to preserve this important part of our family history! Glad I found I Memories!

I place my order and received the box to mail in my videos to iMemories within a week. Unfortunately, the box arrived damaged. I contacted the company and they said I could just mail in my tapes in my own box and use their label or they would mail me a new box. I chose to just use my own box. IMemories let me know as soon as the box was received and within a week or two I had an email saying all my videos were now available to download. So easy and now I have everything on my computer and in my iCloud. Can send my kids video clips. Having lots of fun looking at old home movies.

The process sending the films, tapes, and photos to iMemories was straight forward and safe. The digitized content is high quality. The family is very happy and commented it is a huge difference looking at photos or at video clips of loved ones, especially those who already passed on. Thank you! Originally we wanted to digitize the old VHS and 8mm films ourselves but it was a huge undertaking to find the correct equipment and so it never got done.

One of the vhs tapes I sent which was the one I needed transferred the most wasn't done. I did it myself and the sound was lagging on them. So I know it could be done but it wasn't for some reason.

I had multiple VHS and 8 mm tapes languishing in my entertainment center, but by VHS and Sony camcorder had long stopped working. IMemories allowed me to bring back those priceless memories to digital life - and they did an excellent job salvaging some old tapes which used to have dreaded horizontal bands and jumping videos.

Highly recommended for anyone with old tapes and neither time nor relevant cassette players to revive them.

I have one suggestion from improvement. When sending the tapes - and I sent 19 of them - I was not sure if they were blank or had useful content in them. If iMemories could scan and generate a preview of them (may 60 still photos out of a hour long tape) - then I would feel more comfortable paying for the conversion. In the current method, you pay for the conversion (blind) when they receive the tapes. And if the tapes you sent is blank or nothing useful - you still pay for the conversion.

It is a great service as it is - but the above would make it even better!
