Wonderful, thank you so much for an easy experience switching my VHS tapes into digital media. I appreciate how easy it was with the box. It came with to ship it out.
The quality of work is great. The overall experience was quite costly. Additionally, I was charged $25 to ship my videos that were digitized back to me. I asked if they could just be destroyed and was told, no. So I had to pay $25 for them to be sent back to me to destroy.

Was disappointed that I was unable to run a continuous slide show from the USB drive but perhaps this was because of my instructions. I wanted each class reunion year to be separated (1984, 1989, etc.) but wanted to be able to run a slide show starting with 1984 and ending with 2019. I probably should have given clearer instructions.
The downloading process is time consuming and difficult, but you best do it, because iMemories will require a subscription that is spendy. That said, the process of submission and return of my videos went very well.

At first I was afraid to send all my video tapes out but the way they send you everything to pack them up was so professional. It was so easy and they kept you updated on what was going on. When I received everything back it was great. I'm so glad I did this and for sure I will be sending more. I'm happy😊
My videos arrived to Scottsdale. AZ safely and were shipped back to me safely. The turn-around time for the entire process only took a couple of weeks or less.
My video was old but it transferred well. I had issues with the app and trying to play it on my tv. I also don't like that I have to go through an app or website to see my video. They don't make it easy to see your video. Also I paid $14.99 to get a box to mail the video and than another $14.99 to have it digitized and now they want you to pay for the app to view my video.
Can't tell which VHS tapes have movies/shows on them, would've liked a refund if a tape was unable to be digitalized. You get charged before anything is even looked at.
Hi Sarah, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. By law, iMemories is not able to digitize copyrighted media. We don't automatically refund items that we're unable to process due to copyright restrictions, because a lot of work goes into processing media.
When we do the digital conversion of tapes that have copyrighted recorded TV, our team has to go through the entire tape to ensure there is no home video mixed in with the other footage. These tapes can have anywhere from a few minutes to over 6 hours of video that needs to be reviewed, after we have already done the digital conversion. We received twelve tapes that did not contain any home video. As a courtesy we can issue a refund for 50% off the digital conversion charges for those tapes. Didn't know I'd have to subscribe to a plan to view. Kind of misleading, unless I missed it in the fine print.
Hi Jeff, Thank you for taking the time to comment. The iMemories cloud storage subscription is completely optional. It is one of the four ways customers have to save their memories. You can also purchase customized DVDs/USB drives(s) and/or download and save to your own computers and devices which is no charge. IMemories wants to ensure our customers can save their memories in the way that suits them best, so we offer customization and the flexibility of different options.
After converting 26 tapes, I still have several more to convert to digital format. I will definitely use iMemories to do the conversion.
