I had many old videos in different formats and wanted to ensure I had them for future viewing. I sent them to iMemories and they converted and put them on a server. I decided to pay for one year of storage so I can download them on my own timing. I am very satisfied with the quality of the conversions.

I had 2 VHS tapes converted and the entire process from delays in sending my iMemories box to me (which I later learned you really don't need) to me downloading the conversions was almost 5 months! Even after I rec'd the shipping box, I had second thoughts about even sending my tapes in. I wish I would have listened to myself and not wasted another $16 for really poor quality VHS to digital conversions. My take-away is to try another service first.

Our processing times are some of the fastest in the industry, we completed processing your order within our standard 3 week time frame. The kit was shipped out 1/11/24, it arrived on 1/15/24, and the order was purchased on 1/19/24 with processing completed on 2/2/24. IMemories process can help with quality issues like tracking and jumpiness, but we cannot make color corrections to tapes or add light where it does not exist. Most of the videos converted great to digital. A couple of them the sound was scratchy and lines went through the picture.

I sent in quite a few videos and old photos and they tell me that they cannot get any of the snowing out of the videos. They cannot adjust any of the colors they have done absolutely nothing but charge me to put them on online, my videos are no better, includiny my wedding video which they made worse. All the people are pink and it's not like the the CD. There's still a lot of fuzziness and all my other videos and the photos don't look any better, they did nothing. Absolutely Nothing. They did nothing to fix any of my videos or photos, it's false advertising and this company needs to be sued. I spent a lot of time waiting and sending stuff there, and it could have been sent to a company who actually lives up to what they do. I want a full refund.WHAT A SCAM! 8 emails back and forth. NO RESULTS.
Hi Janette, Your frustration is understandable and we want to help. The two wedding albums in your account are identical, but one version is from a video tape and the other is from a DVD. We've checked the original tape and DVD. The pink hue is on both versions. This tells us that this is not a problem with the age of the tape, but likely an issue with the original recording/lighting. It’s not possible to alter the original color of the tape or DVD. Our service can help with some quality issues, but not with complex color adjustments. Everything has been good with the experience with the exception that when watching the digital videos on line it times out and you have to go back and fast forward to where you left off.

It was either mail in my 45 year old 8mm home movies or throw them out, and I couldn't do that. I ordered the box and mailed all of my reels to IMemories then was surprised at how quick the finished product was sent back to me. A few were still faded but generally they all did well. I didn't do the monthly payment, instead I figured out how to transfer the finished product onto flash drives and gave them as Christmas presents to my four children. I plan on mailing in my parents old videos next.
