I signed my son up for teen driver course. I never could get the site to load even after multiple calls to customer service. They finally offered me a refund, but did not inform me that there is an $8.00 "refund fee". Also only after I had already paid for this course did it inform me that course would lock after 60 days. I would not have signed up in the first place for 60 days of use. So I guess I paid $8 for a lot of headaches. My fault for not checking them out first.
My son took this class to get points back on his license in SC. After he completed and passed the course he just gets run around. SCDMV says the company has to submit the certificate of completion to get credit for course. I Drive Safely says he has to take it to SCDMV that they do not submit it.
So just a joke and waste of time and money.
He did take the Alive at 25 course loved it and took away a lot from it.
Tried to use this site for practice test for Oregon. Graphics for test question would not come up. Called tech and got no help other than to refund money. Blamed it on my DSL.
I wish I could give them a ZERO! What a waste of time and money and frustration! AWFUL! My son took the 6 hour course on his 18th birthday. He wanted to get his license. They said he failed his vice recognition in a quiet room! So at the end of this 6 hour fiasco they have you print a form to go get notarized to make sure you are who you say you are. What does that have anything to do with this course unless the notary sat here and watched you take it., Ridiculous. Well since he just turned 18 and has no government photo id he cant get it notarized. So now I have to wait longer, take him to get a government id, wait for that to come in the mail. Then go pay to have it notarized, fax that in, pay more money, then wait to have his certificate mailed, then go back to get his drivers license. I would've stayed so far way from this place if I would've know all of this! I call their super awful customer service. I wanted to see how you fail a voice recognition and can he do it again. Thy said no, but he could do the entire 6 hour course over, but he would not be guaranteed the same thing wont happen again. Please please please go spend your time and money somewhere else!
Horrible. I had a particular case where I didn't need the course. I found this out from DMV after I passed & took the course. They wouldn't offer a refund. Their money-back guarantee is a sham & doesn't exist. Stay away.
The voice recognition software is very poor. After completing half the course, I failed the voice recognition twice and had to start over. Both times I called from a quiet place so there was no background noise. I got a refund so I would not waste any more time. I would avoid this service.
I wish I could give 0 stars. This company is THE WORSE. Not only do they rip off customers, and treat them like crap. They treat their agents like TRASH. Hence the horrible "customer service". This is a horrible company. They mistreat their agents and force them to lie and rip off customers to make more money from us. Classes do not work. They tell you its compatible but omce you register you can't get any help. LOW DOWN DIRTY MONEY HUNGRY COMPANY
Wish I could give them a 0 rating. Paid for the permit test & my son took it. When he was trying to submit his answers their system locked up. Made numerous calls over that day and the next. Was told it would take 24 hours to reset. When we called the next day they told us he "timed out" of the question and they were unable to unlock it. Hope no one wastes their money there!
Thought I was paying $24.95 but they sent me a receipt for $31.09. That was very deceiving. Voice authentication and keystroke were both setup to make you fail and have to start over. When you get locked out and you call customer service, they will not answer and they hang up on you. The worse experience ever. I could not even get my money back. I did the course at American Safety Council instead and had no issues.

I was assured after my first voice-verif failure (and making me have to start the course over), that I must have been in a noisy place or have minimal service on my cell. I followed up by proceeding into the bathroom inside my office (with zero turbulence) and failed that as well. After speaking with supervisors and specialists w no progression I was not only unable to continue the course but unable to receive a refund as well. CROOKS!
I took this course 9 WEEKS AGO and STILL do NOT have my certificate. They claim they've mailed this 4 times already and it gets sent back to them as undeliverable. Now they are wanting me to pay $19.95 for shipping to get it via Fedex but I'm concerned that I will lose THAT money too! I am going to end up having to pay another $38.00 to take this course again because they will NOT send me my certificate. Worse customer service EVER. BEWARE!
I have never done business with this company BUT somehow they managed to get a charge posted to my credit card account. Bad at the highest level, eehh?
Total RIP OFF! My daughter's account was locked. In Texas, you have to wait 6 months to obtain your license after receiving your permit, during this time, her account was locked and i had to pay ANOTHER $20 to unlock it so she can finish the course and obtain her license. This was on top of the $140 I already paid! SERIOUSLY - THIS SITE IS A JOKE!
9 hours of my life that I'll never get back. Awful out of date presentation material. Wouldn't recommend.

I am so pissed off I can't even form a sentence. I failed the voice recognition during the last chapter. No idea why, last i checked my voice was still mo voice. I have been on it for 5 hours. Now because of their horrible verification system, I have to start ALL over. There help was horrible and could not fix the situation.
Tried to get a refund, but they want to charge me a $9 transaction fee on the refund for a $40 class. Screw them. I am putting a stop payment on my credit card for this.
Participated in the "Refer-A-Friend" program and selected the $5 Target gift card.
It was to be e-mailed within 10 days. After over 20 days I called Allie, a supervisor, of customer NO service and she couldn't verify whether it was sent. She stated it could have gone to my "spam" folder and there was nothing she could do to rectify the situation. Don't expect any "reward" if you refer a friend.
Voice recognition is faulty! What a scam! I wasted 6 hours of my life only to have voice recognition fail twice and boot me out with 1section left! Shaniqua the car service rep refused to reset me even after I explained I was the only female in the house and that this being the last day to finish it was impossible to start over and complete course! Stay away! I can't believe my ins co rep recommended this site! This wasn't my first time doing an online course, did empire safety with no issues!
Jeesus Christ... I too wish I checked the reviews. I am am currently sitting here and taking the defensive driving course which I have taken last time on a site that allowed me to go at my own pace. How I wish I didn't cheapen out and paid the $19.99 through Geico. I honestly feel it's been longer than 4hours. Why the $#*!ed timer! Site security is a joke too. The ask way too many personal questions am afraid my identity will be stolen. Honestly it's not worth the saving to go through this site! Keeping my fingers crossed I get the cert. Watching paint dry might be a quicker task! I honestly feel like quitting on Chapter 6 out of 8 this is agony, cut it as a bad loss.
THIS SITE IS HORRIBLE! STAY AWAY! They say this is an iPad accessible site, WRONG! I had to call customer service SIX times because it would not process me to the next phase. Long story really short, I had a handful of personal crap arise in my life so my testing became rather last minute... This site requires probably a week to complete because I'm guessing a 5 year old wrote the Internet script. This has to be the worst site I've ever spent money on and I want my money back. I'm not the person to request refunds but this site is THAT BAD! Please do yourself a favor and tell ten people to stay away, I know I will!
