My experience would have been much better if I were able to scan my face. The software just would not accept the scan, even after several tries and after adjusting my surroundings several times. Once that happened I ended up having to send photos, not only of my drivers license, but my social security card, my W-2's, my bank info, and my marriage license. What I thought was going to take 10 minutes ended up being 2 hours. I then had to wait for final approval to speak with a person live on a video chat. Everything was easy enough to send, but I was frustrated at the end. I am impressed with the software, it was just the face scan that made everything difficult.

Having to use one device to set up an account is difficult enough; having to use two at the same time and switch back and forth between them is almost more than I can handle (and I'm pretty good with online technology). I can only imagine how difficult it will be for many people I know.

Although it was very early for the representative, she was very courteous and professional as she helped me to get the ID.me set up.
After the initial set up, the ID me verification process was not too difficult to complete. I was apprehensive at first, but the prompts and set up of it made it relatively painless, and good to have done it for future usage.
The "do it yourself" system of document and facial scans was difficult to navigate. I would recommend going straight to the video confirmation while there was a brief wait of less than five minutes the agent was polite easy to communicate with and wrapped up my request very quickly

It was fast and the agent was helpful. When I first tried to log it was on my PC but as I don't have microphone and camera, he sent me a link on my phone in order to be able to connect.
It will be helpful if agent introduce themselves and clarify the reason of the video call. I was skeptical at the beginning. Agent was so quiet so I am the one that end up asking questions.
