I had tried the other verification and failed several times. So I went with ID.me. It failed a few times but this program helped with things to do when failed and then I got to the place where the video call was an option. It worked but it takes 8 minutes to upload documents. It tells you up front.

The process was bit of a struggle to get my face in the camera for the selfie., There is a need for a great deal of patience with this part of the process. It took 4 attempts to get the selfie completed. The information from the tax reports from last year should be on the application as it has already been submitted. Trying to figure out what information was needed took some time to complete.
I use ID me for a variety of my two factor authorizations. Most of my access is conducted on my iPhone and I find this to be quick safe and easy to use. I have used other authorization methods and they are nowhere near as convenient. I highly recommend using ID me.

Overall, it was good; however, the driver's licence and the video picture were a bit cumbersome. You could not determine if the picture went through on the video portion. Overall, it must have been ok because I had to sign out in order to know if it went through for sure.

Try to access a site I use monthly, and the access has done some NEW CHANGE, another horror for me / an elderly Veteran who MUST USE THIS SYSTEM / codes and multiple attempts and increased failure as I am unable to switch between pages!
I understand the need for all the steps involved in the process. I now feel that my account is safe. I have faith that usung ID.me will be effective.
Process is a bit bumpy using a cell phone. A laptop computer with camera would be a better choice. The system is somewhat frustrating to use.

I have only ever had to use ID.me twice, but when I do, it is so quick! The initial setup process does take a while, but once you have access to what you need, it is entirely understandable why they take these measures. They keep things secure so you have no question about whether or not your information is protected! And once you do have your information set up with their site, wow, is it ever easy to use!
