This is horrific! The US government is now forcing you to use biometrics just to file your taxes! This should be outlawed and banned forever. The entire experience feels like you're being violated. This should be stopped immediately.
I had a terrible time doing the online survey to get my identity verified it took me two hours before it made me do the online chat identity verification It's a timely wait but it's totally worth it the person I talked to was understanding and efficient she was a great first time for me getting My identity verified...I am very satisfied with this type of identification check
For some reason taking pictures of my driver's license and S.S card wasn't working or I was doing something wrong. Clicked on to the video help part and he fixed the issues within minutes

Just trying to get a simple answer to simple questions. Can't get a live person to help on this site can't get a live person on the IRS phone number.
Being that I have severe anxiety, cameras make it worse. The rep made it easy and fast (video chat verification) they have plenty of options for proof of identity. Which was great because I don't have my original birth certificate nor my SSN. I used my electric bill and DL. (Electric bill can't be older than 90 days)
All in all I got everything done that I needed within 30min. Probably less than.
I highly recommend i used them to login to the social security website for my SSCard.
