Was notified account was "temporarily suspended". "Chuck" in "customer service" provided no helpful information about the cause of the probelm or any way to address it, with these exceptions: his responses included "if you are dissatisified with this response reply to this email and we will investigate further"...and after 12 of those circular answers and replies I gave up...and the second suggestion was "contact the agency involved with this problem"...so good luck with that...THE IRS DOESN"T DO TECH SUPPORT

I have found ID.me used by more and more organizations as the reference for authentication of credentials. Consequently it is very important to have a vehicle to consider "exceptions to the norm", i.e. Individuals that have strong documented verification but not the document(s) called for by ID.me. Otherwise these non-standard individuals/cases get left by the wayside. ID.me does not have such a provision and individuals are being left by the wayside. Consequently I rate it as "poor".

Make sure you do a trial run after setting the verification process up. During the verification process, the verification codes sent to my telephone worked. After completing the process and trying to access SSA through ID.me the login failed repeatedly as I never received a text message with a 6-digit code. I tried this process three times, each time receiving a new 12 digit emergency login. Fortunately, this worked, but it is not optimal as a long term solution.
It was fast and easy. I provided some basic data, responded to their email and the discounts appeared shorty thereafter. The discounts were steep too! It's a no-brainer.
I should be saying my experience was full of Joy and Delight. It wasn't. You could differentiate this product a lot with a better UI/UX. The experience was on a par with your competitors, which is bad.
I had difficulty figuring out how to send my documents on my phone, so I elected to go to the zoom version. I so glad I did. It was simple, straightforward, and I was delighted to actually see a real person!
Quick and painless. Unlike the experience my husband had with i.d. me. I dont think it was ever figured out and he never got approved for his unemployment. Im glad you all worked on fixing and making it alot better
