I found ID.me very convenient to use. The steps were very navigable and the directions plain. I had a small problem with the photos of the drivers license getting reversed but perseverance paid off and it went smoothly after that. I found it a convenient way to pay a bill.

I am a 79-year-old Viet Nam Vet, had I not been given assistance by my 22-year-old son, I would not have been able to accomplish the verification task. It is not that I am totally unable to work on these computer systems, I run a business which forces me to deal with various software and communicative computer systems, but this was an ordeal for me personally, I could never have gotten verified without my son's help, much more difficult for older folks.
We created duplicate accounts for my wife by mistake, and it's impossible to get it fixed.
The ID me verification was so much quicker and easier than I was expecting, and quick and easy is important when using any web site.
It was a very friendly and professional process. No problems or issues at all.
I went to use my account to login to my IRS account, but was told that my saved password no longer worked. They offered to send me a link to reset my password, but the link never arrived. I tried to create a new account with a different email, but was told I had to use my original email. They offered to send me this password link over and over but nothing ever arrived.
I eventually found their Support page. After creating a support case that explains that I never received any password reset email, I then received an automated email from their AI that they've solved my problem! All I had to do was request a link to reset my password! Are you kidding me, is this some bad joke they're playing on me?
Finally, after two or three days, I eventually receive an email from a live person that provides a link I have to use to meet with a live support representative. This representative was able to solve my problem and get my account unstuck.
What a frustrating waste of time that they put me through!
I have only a cell phone with the same phone number for the last seven years. Very frustrating to not be able to complete the application because they could not verify it.
