It's easy to set up if you use your phone / desktop / laptop. I used 2 so I didn't have to jump back and forth from screen to screen. Whole process took about 15min. Using the multi factor sign in, takes the same amount of time as any other multi factor sign in. Only wish ID.Me used Microsoft Authenticator. Rather than their own. An extra app to download.

Deceptive, liers, info disappears from pages that are supposed to be secure. I believe they will use our info for illegal uses for their own use and get us in trouble.

Current government issued documents / selfies were uploaded successfully and verified, however, access was denied by Social Security Administration.
No reason given other than "Information given does not match records."

Copies of the information on file with the SSA were compared with information uploaded to ID.me - matches exactly.

It was a rocky start, was not accepting the photos of my identification, however, they had an option of a video phone call, which was nice and it got the job done

Easy to use for those with experience with computers. Waiting for a confirmation code is not a great idea. Several elderly people are unable multi- task.

Now I can view my statement, accout information and IRS on my own. No more long waits and multiple calls. No longer have to give a stranger my personal information.

Its my first time to use this, I think it is the easiest and fastest way of getting updates and uploading the required documents.

After the initial startup as far as giving all the information that's required, it's very simple to use. And everything you need seems to be there without having to look for it or request it. I didn't have to type in anything. It was all right there. Plus when you go back in you don't have to sign in again. Really simple

I use ID.me to log in to the Veterans website to obtain a military ID. I have also used the service to obtain military discounts from businesses like Lowe's and Home Depot as well as many other places and restaurants! The Ide service is quick and easy to set up and is safe! I recommend the device!

Have tried to get in for months to no avail. There is no phone number to call and speak with a real person. Only chat bot that gives suggestions, all of which I've tried, and none that work! WHY don't you have a number I can call and speak to someone?

Everything about ID.me is horrible from taking over an hour to log on because it refuses to recognize my email and password to navigating the whole system. Then, in order to post this message they need my last name and email address. I guess they figure it would cut down on bad reviews -- a really slimy tactic.

I needed to pay taxes. To verify who I am. I used ID.me. I was sent a verification code. I used the code and I had access to the government website I needed.
It was very easy to use.

Once the process of identifying your identity. The ID. Me application is user friendly, very secure, convenient, readily available and reliable.

ID.me is the easiest portal I have ever set up. You just sit back, relax, and give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised how helpful it is. You can keep track of everything with your doctor, prescriptions, appointments, or anything else you are experiencing with the Va. I am glad that I did. Thank you!

I've gone through its verification. It says I'm verified -- then, at the next step, before I can access anything, says its records are confused and I must go to a Social Security office to clear up its confusion

I understand identify verification but this is much too invasive and I do not feel as though I have any personal information regarding my identify held peivate

The ID.me personal team was helpful and understanding when working with me.
They walk me through a problem with camera feature on a new computer without getting upset.
They were patient and resourceful with solving this software problem.
The rest of the verification process took only a couple minutes.
Without any software hiccups the entire process would have been over quickly.

The uninformed Veteran should not overlook a knowledgeable Veteran Service representative in their area to avoid grief and and mental exhaustion. My experience in this situation has changed my life entirely. I sleep beter without the stress.
