After using EFTPS for many years, now we must go thru id.me or login.gov. I chose id.me. I found the instructions very difficult to navigate between cellphone taking pics of my drivers license, and then going to my desktop. But after finally figuring out everything, I attempted to make a payment via EFTPS. When I got to point of entering the Internet password that I have used for years, it kicked my out. No reason given, or ability to get back in. Needless to say, I am not happy.

That my phone could provide data required, including a scan of my face, was both horrifying and amusing. Even more it was successful even while it seemed filled with chances of error and confusion. Conclusions: I was lucky to get through, no brains on my side; sad that such precautions are needed in these times.
