If your looking for simple and quick you've come to the wrong website. Even though it's you you still won't be verified unless your in sun light for you verification picture. Just awful. Needs to be fixed.
Had DAYS worth of problems with Login.gov and DS Login trying to get information updated with the VA. I finally tried ID.me and it worked perfectly the first time. Their user interface is clear and easy to understand, plus, as I said, it WORKS. No error messages or "we have a problem on our end; try again later" for days as I did with Login.gov. I recommend ID.me and will only use this method to access my personal info in the future.
Setting up ID. My account worked out well thanks to operator. The self service way was my first choice, but seemed to have some type of connection problem trying to get photo ID through system.Mostly because My phone is an older model.

Isn't there a better way to verify military personnel without providing so much sensitive information?
