I really like how much more simple and easy it was to verify vs how it use to be because everybody don't have credit cards or the knowledge to verify. But now it's much better and easier
I was soo hesitant to do this for a lot of reasons, but I was soo surprised that the process was unpainful.
I expected no ads for this service. It didn't work reliably so it took a few tries before it was successful. At one point it appeared that it was insecure due to a chrome message about it not using https. I felt it might have been hijacked or directed to a scam site at some point. It was complicated and at multiple points I had to redo because it said to. I had to restart it at least twice. I'm general it was unpleasant, complicated, unreliable and left me feeling it was insecure and commercialized selling ads so I'd say it was bad.
It was good because I trust her and we were done in just a few minutes
It's nice to have the option to pay online. The registration process was a bit difficult.

The process is tedious & required me to sign in repeatedly during the time I was loading required info, passport & drivers license. I started the process around 3p today & just retried around 9p (after having my identity verified & approved), but got a message telling me to wait (again) for an email in up to 2-3 days to join a teleconference which had supposedly been accomplished. I'm simply trying to learn what's in the notification referred to in an IRS email@ 5a today. Regrettably I'm giving up until I find a way to access my IRS (& Social Security) account directly without IS.me.
This is supposed to protect my info, but to me the system is flawed, cumbersome and in effect useless.
Amazing how helpful this system works and convenient right from your phone.
Uploading is a pain in the backside as it won't verify upload.
The problem is in my belief the cellphone camera that part is basically useless as it verifies nothing. Where the video conference was quick and pleasant in comparison.
The site is very easy to use and the steps are well laid out to set up an account. I started on a PC but needed my phone for a video selfie and to take pics of my license... the process is completely integrated and seamless.
