I needed to get copies of the last few years of my tax returns. I couldn't be verified! I had mo ed, and new phone number with an ID Theft alert on my account I really thought this process was going to be much more difficult than it was. ID me made everything very simple and got me access almost immediately with the IRS

I tried to login to the IRS website but couldn't until ID.me identified me. It was an easy and quick process. I followed its clear, concise instructions-took the selfie video and BAM! I was identified and was able to access the IRS website! So if you need to get your identity verified- DO IT!
When I realized I needed to go through this process to log into the IRS site I was at first irritated. Within just a few minutes I saw how well thought out the process was and I became fascinated by the ease the process was for me to complete.

I am not very skilled with the use of technology but I understand that it is much more practical and faster to process important matters so I think it is a good option when registering online to be able to verify identity with ID.me because they are simple steps and very insurance to protect our information. I recommend them to everyone
I got scared for a while and stopped when they asked for my social security number! So I researched them and they are directly linked to IRS!

The California government required that I verify my identity with ID.me in order to begin a disability insurance claim.
The ID.me program ran smoothly, but required that I have access to a video capable device, Internet access and email account. Luckily I did, but many in my rural area do not. The CA EDD can afford to contract with ID.me, who can subsequently afford to pay people to conduct surveys of my online experience, but they can't pay workers to answer the phone.
This is a hurdle and an affront to the poor.
California can do better.
The process was interesting and easy to comply with and was really quick.
I was not able to find more documents which is not easy to find.
